Went to get car wash but it was closed on Easter, as were many other businesses. Stopped here to get some tire shine and had a very good conversation with the two employees working at that time. Store was clean and well arranged and the workers so kind and helpful.

I went in to buy some cleaner for my wife's SUV. I tried to purchase through the app before I showed up but this area has poor service for me so I was going to just pay the full price. I went in and the item had a price below it that was less than the price online. Feeling good I walked to the front and it rang up at the higher price. I told the guy checking me out and he went all... Oh I can't do that, you need to come back tomorrow and have Clarence (?) do it. How do you have 2 associates working and no one can do a price adjustment. I didn't change the price and I could've easily shown someone but the cashier quickly dismissed changing my price so I just paid and left. Not a very good experience. The other associate was standing close enough to here the conversation because they were talking when I walked up. He offered no help and just stood there. Aggravating and frustrating trip!

Customer Service was awesome! The Employees were very helpful and helped me find the cheapest option available! The part I need wasn't in stock plus it cost 200$ so the employee helped me locate a hose, a clamp, and a connector to repair my vehicle at decent price! I was grateful and will be going to advance auto more often!!!

This is my favorite store. Super helpful and if Shun is there she will go out of her way to get you what you need. I would recommend this store to anyone.

I went in for a few specific items, and was greeted by more than 1 person. Employees were very knowledgeable and helped me find what I was looking for. Great job!

My family and I were on our way from Knoxville, TN to Florida for a family vacation. We started noticing lights flickering and other small "oddities" and decided to pull into this location for a battery/alternator test. The employee that assisted us was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our family was safe! Less than 10 minutes and we were back on the road with The problem fixed and peace of mind because he took the time to help us despite the bitter temperature! It was so cold and he was bundled up so I didn't catch his name but if you're reading this, THANK YOU!! Excellent customer service without hesitation.

Reading the reviews only made my experience worse. I went in to get some new wiper blades and it was raining. I was the only customer in the store and two employees sitting there that I could see. They were not welcoming or informed in any way. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I was told to drive to the gas station and install the wiper blades. I am a lady in a new vehicle that I have only had for about 3 months. It was barely raining, I went inside without my umbrella. I asked if I went and got my umbrella and held it would someone please just help me and make sure I was installing them correctly. I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD SEARCH UP A VIDEO ON YOUTUBE!!!! As I mentioned before about the previous reviews --- 3 weeks before this happened to me, a lady commented that she went in for wiper blades during the rain and was so grateful that they installed her blades for her. I have no idea what made the difference between the two of us. If I had to guess it was the employee that made the difference. The day is June 15th, 2017 approximately 3:30. I do not know how long these people have been employed with the company, but honestly I do not see how that kind of behavior could be good for business. I WILL NEVER FORGET HOW I WAS TREATED THIS AFTERNOON. I hope that someone in management or at a corporate location looks at the reviews from time to time. THIS WOULD NOT EVEN LET ME POST WITHOUT GIVING AT LEAST ONE STAR. Wow. Lol

Honestly don't even want to leave one star. Came in because my service engine light came on and the older guy with the beard didn't even want to look at my car because he wasn't in the mood. Broke down not even a few minutes down the road after leaving. I got terrible service and am going to file a complaint. Definitely am not returning back to this location and I have already let every body in my phone know not to come here because no one is respectful ,polite or a helpful hand here

When i happen to need something, from this particular store, the workers are VERY helpful and i feel very comfortable getting parts from them. They seem to also be knowledgeable and will pull back and take the time to help you when you are unsure about needing an auto-part for your vehicle.

This is probably just one instance but they have good product I just wish expertise of the staff would have informed me that the jaw wrench would not fit when removing my oil filter. And the other options that they had that might have worked better like the cap filter wrench. Just would have saved me a trip in frustration

Called ahead to see if they had my spark plugs and wires in stock. They were ready for pickup when I arrived. No hassle with good customer service.

Thugs work here at this store, ok I came in and purchased brake pads for my 2003 s10 Xtreme I purchased them from (Mike G) he sold me pads for a 4x4 so as soon as I found out I had the wrong parts I called them and told them that they sold me the wrong parts whoever the guy was that was working tonight ( Sunday 8/14/2016) this thug told me that they where closing in 2 minutes and that it wasn't their problem that I was stranded with the wheels off my truck and no brakes, so I demanded to speak with a manager and I guess the adolescent idiot didn't know how to put the phone on hold and I hear him tell the manager this ( man dis white dude think I'm fitna wait on him I'm goin to the crib) the manager replies quote on quote ( we close in 2 mins put him on hold till we close and hang up after 6, not our problem) so I wait on hold till 6:07 pm and I hear the phone pick up and hang up, I called back about 15 times and each time they would pick the phone up and hang up without saying anything . I was pissed bc i could not believe I just did business with a place that treat their customers this way. They act like thugs that just got out of prison and they act like people owe them something I have been in this story about 4 times total bc i just moved to the area and every time disreSpectful service, one time the lady actually called me a lie her words quote on quote ( u is a lie) bc she was putting my phone number in the computer wrong and she said u didn't buy that here and she was the one that sold it to me a day b4. Take in mind these are 2 separate incidents and I will contact the corporate office and will not stop until I have that disrespectful adolescent fired and he can go be the thug he wants to be, I have been doing business with advance auto parts in Leeds al all my life with no problem bc the staff is very professional but not the advance off chalkville Mt road in trussville they are true thug wanna be and they give advance a bad rep, I hope they are fired bc people should not be talk to and treated the way they do people. If corporate office can't do anything I will stand in front of the store with a sign Im not lettimg this go bc i can't stand ppl that are suppose to be professional act that way.

These beta boys know absolutely nothing when it comes to car parts. Was given the wrong part and after realizing what the did i took it back to get my refund and was met with attitude and refusal to give me my money back. Do not do business with these wanna ve car guys.

Very disappointed in this store. My friend who is a widow and who also has Mutiple sclerosis went in and ask them if they could check her vehicle because her check engine light came on. They told her they couldn't help her because it was dark outside, yet the man in front of her was helped when he ask if they could come out and check his battery. She left completely distraught and feeling helpless. I guess there are no gentlemen that work here. Will never buy auto parts from here again and will let everyone know they don't help women at this store.

this use to be my go to store, this store "had" some employees at one time who wanted to help. Now it seems like the new employees want to talk to each other and certain customers about everything but parts while people are standing in line to be helped.

Friendly and helpful staff. This location does not always have the best inventory, but they will do everything to get you taken care of. They will locate the part you need and verify that it is actually available.

Great service. Friendly staff. Came in and got a battery replaced really quick and had a diagnostic done. Was very fast service and the technician was very nice.

Went there close to 2:15 pm African American gentleman checked my Buick hooked it up to a machine was extremely helpful, polite and very nice.
