I have been to University Tire three times now and each visit has been very pleasant. It s a family-owned business and they treat you like their own. I ve bought a number of tires from them and had some repaired too. This most recent time they were able to get my tire ordered in the morning and put on in the afternoon. I prefer a certain brand and University got it done as usual. They are upfront with everything from what your options are, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. University is the real deal!

I have been a frequent customer of University Auto & Tire for over a year now. They are absolutely phenomenal at what they do, but are even better people. Being a 21 year old girl, I know very little about cars, but what I do know is they are an honest company and are always readily available when I am in need. My dad trusts me going over there by myself which says a lot. Devin has been super helpful since I first started coming there and breaks everything down for me so that I understand what exactly they are fixing and can easily relay it to my dad. I appreciate the kindness and patience all of the staff have shown me throughout. They are the sole reason Arlo is still going strong! The only downfall is I will be moving away after graduation, but I will continue to recommend everyone in the area to University Auto!

Devin and Paul were very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to as I waited for my tires to be replaced.They went above and beyond and let me study in their break room for an exam I had the following day as well. The mechanic was quick too and did a clean job.

We have an AU student and we are from out of town. She needed service on her car. We had a situation of back and forth and car not being fully repaired. UTA was superb. The owner called me and immediately applied a credit to my AMEX. The way in which this customer service was handled was total old school and WELL DONE. This was a difficult unique repair. All was handled top notch. We will use them again and highly recommend.

So kind and helpful! I was multiple states away and trying to help my Auburn student get a car issue taken care of. Devin's communication and assistance gave me peace of mind. We would go back!

These guys are awesome!! They do a jam up job with whatever issue you bring to them. Their great at communication as well. Wish there was more than 5 stars to give. Highly recommend for a great service!!!

Eric, Gerald and Justin helped me out with a punctured tire when they were 5 minutes from closing! I called them and they said, Come on! So grateful for their quick and friendly service!! Blessed to have them in Auburn!!

12 of 10. I feel so sad I couldn't have this great service in my new place where I recently had some mechanical scam and over paied money for parts: ). The staff here are chill and friendly, and they are patient to explain the details to me ( some free coffee and lemonade also nice ) VERY NICE PLACE for AU international students to car maintenance. NICE job, guys, keep up with!

Man my guy Austin got me right. Needed 2 tires and turned around and got a whole set of 26" tires. He just needed a heads up and got the tires in stock fast! Kept me updated and good customer service. My new permanent "go to" tire store

My 80 year old father was driving home from florida to see us in Texas for Christmas and stopped to see them losing transmission fluid. They charged him 400 and said it was done but when he picked it up it was leaking oil and losing it even faster but they didn't even tell him it was leaking. Fortunately he stopped driving it and they want another 1800 to fix it maybe. He is still stuck

I recently went to University Tire and Auto to have a tire plugged/patched and was extremely happy with quality of service, as well as the customer service that was provided. They were able to take my car in almost right away and also had wifi and a waiting area so I could work while my car was being repaired, which was super convenient. Everyone on staff was extremely personable and their prices are very reasonable too. Will definitely be using UTA if I have any car trouble in the future!Service: Tires

I had a wonderful experience at University Tire and Auto and I would recommend it to everyone. I was in Auburn from out of town when my car was not working. I was really nervous because my dad was not there to help me (LOL). But they made me feel really comfortable and took good care of me. They even went out of their way to help me get to the shop so that I did not have to use a towing service. I got my car there in the afternoon and they had it ready that day so that I could go home! They replaced my starter for a reasonable price.

I recently had a ton of work done on my 2008 Toyota 4Runner at University Tire & Auto. I presented my case, high mileage - knew it needed a good bit of work, but just wanted to get everything diagnosed that needs to be done, should be done, or could be done so that way we could gauge whether or not the 4Runner was worth it at that point. I left it for the day and had been told I would hear from them in an hour or so. 3 or 4 hours went by and I hadn't heard back so I gave them a call and they said it is just taking longer than normal. I knew they were going to come back with a lot but I was shocked at how thorough the diagnosis was for an affordable price. Devin called me later that afternoon and started going over it and I said I should just come in so we can go over all of it. Major things University Tire came back with were things that we have had previously diagnosed but that it was fine for then, but would need repair sooner rather than later and so we were already half aware of what was going on. The price on everything came back and it still makes the 4Runner 100% worth it so we rolled with it. Major rear differential work, suspension work and a lift, all new brakes and rotors, new tires. Biggest note of it all, they got it done quickly which made my life easier as I only have this vehicle.Overall, great group of people to work with and even finer work. I will be continuing to go to University Tire as long as I am in Auburn. 10/10 I would definitely recommend this business. I was greeted as I entered the business. Someone came out and looked at my car and addressed my issue within a few minutes. I appreciated the great service and definitely suggest you take your car to them.

I was looking for a alignment shop for lowered cars and I found them. They were very professional and kept in contact with me throughout the process. My car had some challenges to get the alignment correct. When they were running into issues they communicated with me what the issues were. Highly recommended for tire shop. Will be going back every time I'm needing wheel alignment.Service: Wheel alignment

The staff at this shop are A+. Our vehicle had a particularly difficult issue that these fine technicians stuck with and made sure to finish the job. The cost was exceptionally fair, and these guys hung in there and did what they said they would do. Our truck is fixed, and my faith in the fact that their are people out here that do care, and do take pride in what they do and what they said they would do, is restored. Hell of a great job guys!!!! Keep it up and hopefully your work ethic and determination will spread! Thank you and I completely recommend that these folks do your auto work. Had to find a place with Nitrogen to fill a low tire. They treated my car, checked all the tires, filled, adjusted the pressures as needed. Very professional and friendly. My go to shop for my car!

I came in from out of town for the weekend and discovered that my daughter s car was in desperate need of tires. I called numerous place but the welcoming phone voice made my decision. I drove to University Tire & Auto. They finished the tires and I was out the door in about 30 minutes. AWESOME!!Service: TiresService: Tires

While my son was home from for Christmas break, local dealership said he needed front struts, despite not feeling any indication of such when driven. Had him take his vehicle to University Tire and Auto and they told him he didn't need new struts. Greatly appreciate the honesty when the the easy thing to do would be to take advantage of the college student. Will definitely use again if needed and recommend.

My son is going to school and living in Auburn. ( from WI) He has had lots of issues with his car over the years and no matter what breaks down tje service and turn around time for repairs has been incredibIe. As a mechanics daughter, I know your job can often be thankless and unappreciated. I just want to thank everyone from bottom of my heart for how well you have treated my son. There is a reason I bring my vehicles to University Tire and Auto: honesty, communication, reliability and a pressure free environment. I appreciate the experience from the second I walk in the door or they pick up the phone to answer my questions. The front side of the shop staff is prompt with quotes and doesn't try to sell or force any work that isn't immediately needed. Instead they provide you with a realistic timeline on when the work should be done. They realize everyone has different financial situations and don't want to overburden or cause you concern when driving your vehicle. The mechanics are excellent as well, no cutting corners when it comes to your vehicle. Working with this shop of professionals has been a great experience since moving to Auburn in 2019.

University tire and auto is by far one far one of the best auto shops I have dealt with. Devin worked with me on the repairs needed for my truck and was extremely accommodating, informative, patient, and reasonable. The customer service I received from Devin and Will was hands down the best customer service you will find anywhere. I cannot say enough good things about this business and their integrity and I highly recommend them to all my friends. I would trust them to do any work on my truck and always be fair and up front about all of the repairs. I am a female college student far from home with lots of car issues. University Tire and Auto without a doubt is the first place I go when I have car problems. Everyone working there is extremely nice and informative. I have never had a problem with anyone there or any service. They have fixed my car multiple times and also educated me on what is going wrong / how to be prepared next time if the same issues arises. 10/10 recommend !Services: Electrical repair, Body & Trim, Auto detailing

Couple days ago I've paid visit to University Tire and Auto to let them find out what's actually wrong with my AC. I've had it in authorized dealership a year ago because of poor AC functionality. They found nothing. Last week I took it there again and they've told me the AC needs to be replaced and the cause of the failure was previous poor repair by Ray's collision shop. Of course Ray's collision refused to even look at it trying to avoid their responsibility because of time relapsed. So tired of both I went to University Tire and Auto to let them find out what the problem really is. Their mechanic after a lil bit more than an hour came to tell me he fixed the problem and AC is working again. I have to ask him to repeat it and asked him if he is sure. Well, he said yes. So they've saved me a bit of money. Instead paying 1700$ for replacing the AC I've paid only 250$ for repairs. They could easily say I really need to replace the AC but they didn't. So I would totally recommend their services to anybody because they are not only HONEST with car problems but they also have PROFESSIONAL and KNOWLEDGEABLE mechanics...Service: A/C installation & repair

University Tire & Auto is the best. 100%. The gentleman that work and run University Tire & Auto are some of the most honest people in the business and the mechanics are on point. Finding a reliable and honest place to take your vehicle is really tough. I can t recommend this business enough. They do more than the average spot that just doechanges oil. They are a first come first serve service station but if you happen to know what part or parts you may need they will order them up in advance so the day you do bring the car in everything is ready to go. They are happy to work around your schedule to get it done right. If you CAN NOT find a part you need, they will get it!! I tried for 2 months to get a specific part for my Civic turbo. It was always out of stock and or on back order. It s a weird part only used on this particular model. Even the local area Honda dealerships were unable to get the part. The gentleman at UT&A not only found the part I need and ordered it. But after realizing that there was an issue with the part that they were shipped, they went above and beyond to resolve the issue. My man literally went digging around town looking everywhere for a $16 piece of plastic to hold up my skid plate. Original post: Very disappointed. My husband was told the price for everything would be $500 something which already seemed high, and when he went to pick up the car the total was $745. Plus part of what we paid for was to fix the A/C and it's not even completely fixed.*Edit: The owner Paul reached out to us and expressed a sincere apology. He asked for my side, asked questions and genuinely seemed to want to make it right. Never once did he make it seem like he was annoyed or upset. On the contrary, he acted like he cared, and even acknowledged how I'd be upset. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, but the fact that the owner called and took full responsibility shows his character and that he values his clients' experience above his pride (which is hard to find nowadays). This is a place you want to go, because I can't guarantee they won't make a mistake, but if they do, they will do what they can to make it right.
