Got synthetic oil change and 4 new tires. This was on a Saturday morning and they are usually busy. They said it would be 3 to 4 hours and it took around 3 hours. They seem to be under staffed but all these places seem to be. But they done a good job with what I needed.

Quoted me a price out the door for my tires and charged me $100 over that price. Came out to get my car and had gum down the side of my car, along with a cracked hubcap and Mismatch valve stems. Very unprofessional, poor work and service. We will not use them again.Service: TiresService: Tires

I wanted to share what a good experience I had at the Walmart automotive department today. I was having a bad day with my car and they re friendly can do attitude turned my day around. A special thanks to the manager, who took the time to listen and competently got my car in and out.Thanks again!

I give you a 1. I got there at 640am today for a new tire (1). It took yall 35 minutes after 7 to get your butts in gear to change it. Sadly it only took 10 minutes after you started.That is just poor leadership.

We just came back from having great service at the Athens Wal Mart. We noticed our code of low pressure tire several times this week after purchasing 2 new tires placed in the rear from Muscle Shoals Firestone. Several times I stopped to have my tires checked wherever I was when the code appeared. We were at Athens Wal Mart and noticed the code and flat tire and drove to automotive. The check in and work was quick. We evidently had a slow leak in the valve stem of our New Tire. They replaced it and the cost was $3.00.Thanks for all you do in Automotive to keep us safe!

Takes them 2 hours to change 4 tires. Everywhere else can do it in 30mins or less! Employees just stand around on there phones and not taking there job seriously. Will never come back for tire service again.

Well I bought 2 Tires for 68.00 a piece an turned around to get 2 more of them an they was going to charge me 107 dollars a piece for them an that was the next day

I am staying away from any Walmart tire and lubricant never have a good experience. They don t even have a good waiting area for customers.

Will not work on custom rims. So if you buy a tire the road Hazzard warranty is useless.

Said they had a full set of tires we wanted for my husband car. 2 men actually checked before we left the car there. We go back home. At 11:10 . The man had told us it would take about 2 hours to put the tires on. So at 12:12 I get a text saying they have started on our car. Then another hour goes by and we get a phone call saying the only have 2 tires. What the heck

Went to have a tire rotate and balance and an oil change. The wait was long but it's to be expected. I normally do my own vehicle work but sometimes it's just more convenient to have it done for you. I always make it a practice to check the oil after an oil change (everyone should). I'll make a really long story short. Basically they didn't do the actually oil change. They just put some more oil in. I first realized something wasn't right because the oil was dark and too full. Then I had the manager look at it and he kindly agreed that it was indeed too full. So they did another drain and fill. Then I just double checked the oil filter and it had never been changed. So basically the guy on the bottom of the bay didn't do his part. I'm so glad I checked and had I not checked there would have possibly been some serious engine damage. The Department Manager (I think his name is Tracy?) handled it very professionally and did refund the oil change in the end (which is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1). I hope it's a lesson to always check the work if you're able to do so.

I when there at today 610 pm they don t close until 7 pm the guy come out and say we got all we can handle there was only 2 cars in there I just wanted a oil change. I want ever go back there. NO MORE. This was in Athens Walmart

We have been waiting going on 2 Hours! We arrived at 4 pm, it's not 6:10 pm. They have not been busy, and they are not understaffed. There is absolutely no reason for or wait to be this long, and for a carry in mounting of 3 tires, already on the rim and everything, it's nothing all that bloody difficult. This seems to be an all to common trend with Walmart Tire centers. The only reason we came here was they are the only one open on a Sunday. I will never come here again. Absolutely the worse service ever.

I have always liked the fact that I could pull in to the Walmart auto center and get my oil changed without an appointment. This time I was very very disappointed. They didn't check any of the fluids in the vehicle except for the oil. My washer fluid was out and it was still out when I got my car back. They marked on the paper that all of the tires were 35 PSI and they were not. They were 46. The inside of my door states that the cold weather tire pressure is supposed to be 35. That is the air pressure that they marked on the paper. Lol It makes me question what else did they not do? I know that they can be stressed sometimes. I know that they only have one person changing oil that day. But it's not okay to mark that you did things when you didn't. Just let the customer know that there's not enough time to do their vehicle instead of marking things done. I would have been more okay with that than them lying about it. This isn't the first time that this is happened here at this Walmart.

They can sell tires, but if you have aftermarket wheels or want a different size tire they will NOT install them.

I had ordered four new tires online. I had them shipped to my house, and then took the tires to Walmart to have them put on our vehicle. We dropped the car off, and we were told it would be two hours. So we leave to get lunch and take care of other things while we wait.Three hours later, we make our way back to Walmart, and when we get there our car is still sitting exactly where we left it, and the tires are still sitting in the back of the car. We go inside and they tell us they are bringing it in now, and that it would just be another 20 minutes.One hour and five minutes later our car was final done.I did not have high expectations with Walmart s Auto department. But they brought them even lower today. I ll be going elsewhere next time.

Price for synthetic oil change good. Price on tire rotation good. Wait time awful. It took 3 and half hours to complete..if you have time to wait this is your place but if your in a hurry would not recommend.

I took my vehicle in for tire rotation & did my shopping while they did job. I went back after an hour vehicle was still not complete. While sitting for another half hour asked clerk if repairs were done they stated no not yet. After several other customers came and left my husband checked with techican and he stated it had been done. We were there for almost 3 hours we asked clerk why he didn't tell us he stated he was busy with no apology & he had only been there for an hour my opinion poor customer service

Amazingly slow. Home of the 2.5 hour oil change. Never got around to the tire balance because I had to leave "early". My time is worth more than the few (if any) bucks saved. Never again.

From my experience, the place is understaffed but the employees there are knowledgeable and honest. It takes a minute to get the job done but I trust them with my vehicles.

My wife waited for service to change two pre-paid tires online for our vehicle. She waited for over 4 hours in the store, while not receiving any updates, assistance, and/or reason as to why a 30-40 minute job typical of any car service in the area could have performed took so long. This is poor management and disregard for customers. They will no longer receive my business.

That was a man that was at Walmart I can say thank you because I was having trouble I just had bought tires at Walmart new tires and just about every other day seemed like they would go flat so I decide to take my tires back to Walmart well they didn't give me new tires but they was trying to figure out what was going on with my tires and everything so this one man he took his time and he was trying to find out what was going on well they still couldn't find out what was going on why my tires are going flat but I would just like to say thank you and I really do appreciate that you took the time out to try to figure out what was going on and God bless you and everything that you do and everything that you touch in life you are very nice and I respect that and I respect you and thank you so very much that you did that for me so far haven't had no more problems and I really do appreciate it

I went in for an oil change and tire repair. I was the first in line. They told me it would be 45 minutes to an hour. An hour and 20 minutes later they hadn t even started on the tire repair.

Their tire shop is awful. It took my daughter in law 5 hours to get a tire put on a rim and when it came down to it they didn't even have the tire she wanted.

I order a particular brand because it was showing in-stock. Cometeed order and got conformation that the items (4 tires) could be picked up after 6pm. Went to pick up the next day and learned that they were in North Carolina and would be able to be picked up the next day.

Got an oil change for half the price of the other places. Staff was helpful, friendly and best of all FAST! I didn't even finish my shopping wen they notified me my oil change was complete
