As a first time tractor buyer, I was amazed by the wide range of products and the wide range of prices. After some research, I decided that I needed a tractor in the 50 - 60 HP range with implements to turn overgrown land back into arable land. I also identified several vendors for both new and used equipment. In the end, TriGreen Athens offered a total price for a new 5055e tractor and implements that met my budget and my needs. TriGreen and Drew treated me as if we are partners and I have every intention of buying another tractor from TriGreen in the future.

Fully satisfied with TriGreen Equipment in Athens, AL. My experience was first rate. My salesman, Danny Kelley, was knowledgeable and respectful. I bought an '86 used John Deere that was exactly what I was looking for. Took my children for their first ride on Daddy's tractor yesterday!

Beware. Worst location of TriGreen in the South. Very shady sales tactics. Refused to quote me a price on a tractor because I mentioned I had also talked to another TriGreen location before. Yikes. Imagine if I went to a Ford dealer and they refused to quote a price because I also looked at trucks at another dealer.

I'd give this place a 0* if I could. Tri-Green in Athens is a joke and has convinced me to never buy another John Deere. I've lived in Athens for a year and a half and every time I have called their parts department, I have to wait a minimum of 7-8 minutes before being told "I'm not sure why they're not answering." I then am forced to leave multiple voicemails that never once have been returned. After not hearing back from anyone, I have to physically go there before finding out if they have a part I need, and told "I'm sorry we didn't return your call, we're short staffed;" yet there are a handful of employees wandering around aimlessly behind the counter. Why can't those employees answer or return a call? Also, they close at noon on Saturdays and are completely closed on Sundays. I guess nobody in Athens uses lawn or farming equipment on the weekends. I hear John Deere is making it so that you cannot work on your own equipment, so good luck getting anything repaired at this location in the future.

My tractor seat was dirty and mildewed when I picked it up from dealer. Salesman put a seat cover on my seat in which I thought was just being nice until I took to seat cover off and discovered the seat was mildewed.

Bought brand new 2019 d100 little 42inch lawnmower back in July of 2019 and has been working great. BUT I just paid 225 for them to come get my John Deere and full service it for the summer and drop it off to the house WELL today on the 1st time I touched it since it was back and I got bout half my yard cut and the belt slipped off pulley and was frayed like an dry rot tire so I put it back on the pulley and 4 minutes later it completely breaks. So loud I heard it over the tractor and my headphones on. Called them and they told me that they would not have put old belt back on and basically when I put the belt on its pulley they manual shows that I must have put on wrong and I caused it to break. Was very angry and I am then told I can make another pickup appointment(last time took 5 days) or come get my John Deere warranted belt and install myself BUT if I do that then my warranty won't cover anything else that might break because working on it urself voids the warranty and I have no way to get It there and don't feel like waiting 5 more days with the yard looking like it's gotta Mohawk or something. And I live on farm so I have always had perfect running and cutting John Deere I paid more than my truck for and the first time I give it back to the dealer to service it instead of just doing it myself like I always do until I bout the 2019 new 0hrs and only reason why was the warranty.

This is the 3rd chainsaw and some other stuff that I bough from them but I don t like the way they treated others just for been different (not white) every time I go the make me feel like they are doing me a favor. But this is the last time I shop from them.

I stopped in on my motorcycle with a problem. I needed a hex head to tighten up my shifter, and instead of the usual rigmarole and run around, one of the guys reached into his toolbox and produced a package of hex heads for my use. I'm eternally grateful to these guys and would definitely recommend you buy something from them. Even if it's a hex head.

Maintenance doesn t take detailed notes which doesn t help when claiming they over torqued a bolt causing a gasket leak. Which would make it a warranty repair instead of you paying for another repair.

I left my Honda self-propelled mower at the TriGreen service shop in Athens on June 20, 2019. They said it would take about a week. It is now over two months later and it must still be sitting there. For the first month plus, I called at least once weekly to check on it and kept getting various reasons why it was delayed ("it will be ready the end of next week" - it wasn't; "they're looking now - they'll probably call you tomorrow morning" - they didn't; "it has a blown head gasket and it's not under warranty" - it was; "we're following up with Honda"). They never called me once the whole time. I finally gave up a few weeks ago and bought a lawn mower. Guess my other one is still sitting at TriGreen. I don't recommend taking warranty repair jobs there.

Dropped a load of lawnmowers off here. Everyone I came into contact with there was polite and helpful. The guys unloading me knocked it out in no time. This is one of the few places I wouldn't mind delivering to on a regular basis.

Carried lawn mower to have blades sharpen and deck leveled and oil changed was told it would take 2 weeks. Called on Monday aug 6 a day before thec2 weeks was up and was told it would be Tuesday or no later than Wednesday. Called Wednesday late afternoon and was told it would be Thursday afternoon this is going on 3 weeks. I have to have someone to take me to pick mower up. Now because it wont be ready until Thursday afternoon I wont be able to get the mower until Friday. This is not right and should not happen

Helpful and knowledgeable folks. I was a little disappointed that they didnt have the Stihl trimmer I needed in stock, but they are bringing it in within a day.
