My 2022 equinox had a rotational thrumming sound from the rear tire area. I took into the dealership they test drove the car and determined that it needed to go into the shop for diagnosis and could not get to it that day. They provided me a loaner car at no charge because my vehicle was still under warranty. My car was diagnosed with a rock caught between the brake pad and the brake rotor. Repairs were completed under warranty at no charge. I can't thank them enough for their friendliness and excellent customer service personnel.

Everything was fantastic except for the wait. I had an appointment for 8:30 and didn t get out until after 10:30. Facility was nice and clean, staff was great. I just thought with an appointment, it wouldn t take over two hours for an oil change a rotation. It was explained to me that there was only one oil change tech, so whoever makes the appointments needs better training. I will still use Champion for service as everything else was great

Wow! Everyone, from arrival to departure, was absolutely wonderful! I am not easily impressed, but Champion is the real deal! We were already blown away by the amazing sales team, and now we know how awesome the service team is! Easy to make an appointment (on Chevy app), I felt very welcomed and was made very comfortable, I got some remote work done, and before I knew it - Voila, my car was ready!

Great deal, Thanks to the team at Champion Chevrolet in Athens, AL. The salesperson Michael Wooldridge was great to deal with! Answers all questions and concerns, no issues. I even drove 380 miles to see him and check out the truck that I found on their website!! Called verify it was still there, drove up and sealed the deal, drove my new truck home towing back the vehicle I went up in.

Service department was outstanding, unfortunately I needed some fairly detailed repairs. The Service Advisor (Tyler Thomas) was extremely helpful explaining things clearly and very honest. He told me I may get it back tomorrow morning or it could be tomorrow afternoon depending on parts etc. The following day about 3:30 my jeep was ready. The Service Advisor (Tyler Thomas) was extremely busy helping customers but saw me walking out to get my jeep and took the time to say.... "Mr. Cockrell we really appreciate your business, Thank you"That's old school good business I haven't experienced in 30 years... 6 Stars for for Tyler Thomas and Champion Jeep for service excellence I thought was long gone.

I purchased a 2023 Traverse on December 23, 2022. I called two days after purchasing because I smelled gas. I was told that it "was the new wearing off". I drove it like that for two or three weeks when a total stranger at a gas station stopped me and said he smelled gas! (Thank God for that Athens Fireman). Called the dealership and got it in about a week later and got the run around about a loaner vehicle. They said they fixed it and before I got back to Elk River I could smell gas again. I called and was told the smell was old gas "evaporating". The very next day gas was pouring out of my vehicle. I had it towed to another dealer who said it was a legit gas leak that could have caught fire.After all the misleading information that was given the day it was purchased and now the gas leak I have zero faith in Champion Chevrolet or Chevrolet in general.

Worst experience. Either service managers or mechanics maybe both have no idea what they're doing. Will never get a vehicle serviced there again.

Washer fluid left off. Twenty dollars higher than the cullman dealership which I had been using. Not nearly as friendly. Will drive the hour + to be satisfied next time.

Service department won t uphold a warranty and refuses to work on anything not specifically purchased from them. They will lie and say that your GM factory warranty isn t any good there.

I had tools left in the hood/engine the last time I had service with the battery cables loose and eventually came undone and the car died on me. This time I also had tools left in my car after being throughly checked. Very disappointed

It took two days for a oil change and to see what was wrong with my radio I was supposed to be in there at 9am I had a appointment and they didn t get it in til 5pm

One of the best car buying experiences I ve ever had. They really valued my time & were very informative about the vehicle. It took less than 90 min. to view truck, test drive it, get purchase agreement, trip to bank for check, & then back to sign papers. I also appreciate the after the sale care they ve continued to show. Go see Barry Tucker @ Champion Chevy in Athens.

Had a great experience. My salesman Tyler was able to get me into the car that I really wanted and got me payments that I could afford. Everyone there was super nice and helpful so I would definitely buy from them again

When I came in, I said I was there for an oil change and to have my tire checked. I told the person taking my vehicle in that I had a slow leak in one of my tires. That I d had to fill it twice in the past two months because it had gotten down to 23/24 PSI within 3-4 weeks of being filled. I was told they d look at it.When I was told my car was ready, there was nothing on the receipt/report about the tire. I asked about it and was taken back to the service desk. I was told, oh yeah, your tire was low so we filled it. I repeated EXACTLY what I said when I dropped off my car. They said, oh yeah, that s definitely a leak, just bring it back when it happens again. I brought it that day to be fixed because I was driving out of state three days later with my young children.At that point it was 4pm and I guess they didn t want to deal with it. They just told me to bring it back later. I won t be bringing my car back to that dealership. I took it THAT DAY to be fixed and they didn t listen to me, and then brushed me off.

The service and experience were fine, until I got to the cashier. The dealership now charges a 3% "convenience" fee for paying with a credit card. Fortunately, I had enough cash to cover my service, and replaced it with no fee immediately afterward. I will not be doing any more service at Champion Chevrolet.

My wife and I bought a nice used Audi Q3 from this dealership the process was easy from start to finish. The sales team were very knowledgeable about their inventory and not pushy at all. I highly recommend this the Dealership to anyone searching for a good vehicle.

Top notch dealership with excellent customer service. Our Salesperson, Michael Woodridge was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The sales manager, finance manager, and upfront personnel were all very helpful and friendly. Everyone worked to ensure we received the best deal possible with no pressure to buy. The facility was top notch. The showroom, bathroom, office areas, and parking lot were very clean and organized. You can tell the dealership cares a lot about its customers and the facility. Wonder place to purchase a vehicle.
