We recently purchased a 2024 Coleman camper trailer. Our salesman Brock did a phenomenal job. From the moment my wife and I entered the store and was warmly greeted by the receptionist, to the retail store associates, all the way to mechanics, maintenance technicians, we were extremely impressed with this location. We have shopped at other Camping World locations but this store puts any of the other stores to shame. This store was flawlessly clean, bathrooms were immaculate, and the retail store was well stocked and neat!A special thank you to Brock and Lauren! You both were particularly responsible for our amazing and fun purchase and shopping experience!

We went there to look because we are in the market to buy a camper with a floor plan that we prefer. As soon as we walked in the receptionist wanted to register us and call a salesperson to show us around. Registration involved taking our license number??? The sales person came shortly, invited us to sit at one of the tables that reminded us of tables where you get a hard sell for timeshares, vacation clubs, etc, take your pick. She engaged us in typical salespeople talk, getting to know us, where we camp and so on. Then, down to business. How much of a down payment are we willing to do? Top of price range, are you going to trade in your current camper, etc. We were just wanting to see what was available, and told her so, but tried to honestly answer her questions. She finally said she had a camper to show us that she thought we d love. She went to get a key for a golf cart. After several minutes of waiting for her to come back, we informed the receptionist that we were leaving, Save yourself the time if you are mostly shopping. Go across the street and see Cory. He will show you around, educate you, and you don t have to show your license.

The customer service is Stellar! Robby addressed every question about each fifth wheel we had. Robby also gave us a tour of every RV we wanted to see! We will be purchasing our first fifth wheel from Camping World. Financing and insurance coverage was also explained and offered to us! We are even able to trade in our travel trailer! Highly recommend shopping and buying from Camping World in Oxford, Alabama!

This place is the absolute worst! I will never buy a camper from this place again. Bought BRAND NEW camper never used and have had nothing but trouble out of it and they refuse to fix anything even though we bought the extended warranty it covers nothing! Waste of money all around worst experience ever. Toilet broke they refused to cover cost we ordered and fixed ourselves. The seal came off around the door made a soft spot in the floor they refused to fix had to pay out of pocket thousands of dollars. I wish there was a way I could sue these people for robbing you blind. The camper we bought was never used and we have had nothing but trouble with no help to fix and the customer service department is horrible. I wish I could give -5 stars. They should be shut down! Do not go here I could go on and on about this horrible place!

This is our second camper we have purchased here and several times just visited to look. Each time we have had nothing but great experiences. The crew there are awesome and friendly and shout out to Robby, Brock and Rick. These guys were awesome in purchase of each camper. Special shout out to "Happy" for helping us today hooking up to new 5th wheel camper in the brutal cold weather.

Where to begin...I had an issue getting my tag so I tried calling customer service and let's keep the story short, I just had to take care of it myself. My salesman and customer service both turned into ghosts once the camper was paid for.I had a leak in the roof that ended up causing damage to the floor so I brought it in to get it repaired under warranty, that process took about 2 years because when they sent the camper up to Illinois to get repaired, it came back with even more damage. Camping world and Keystone then argued about who's fault it was for a little over 12 months and eventually the repairs were made, so I finally came to pick the camper up and went to inspect it and then saw the underpinning was completely ripped to shreds, the bumper was smashed in, my TV was smashed, and the side of the camper had been dragged across something (probably someone else's camper) and my emergency brake cable was completely ripped off. So then I had to argue with the shop about fixing all the new damages which took several more months. Finally after about my 10th visit to the service desk (I live 2 hours away) and not having my camper for 2 years, I go to pick it up and bring it home and think, wow finally the nightmare is over.Guess again....My electrical system was wired completely wrong, some idiot bypassed the breaker panel completely and made a direct hard line connection to the power supply. If you don't know what that means, it means if water spilled into let's say an outlet, instead of a breaker tripping, it would most likely just start sparking until it caught fire, possibly killing me and my family in our sleep instead of tripping the breaker (what breakers are designed to do) and I only found this out because I was testing an outlet that wasn't working and flipped off the main circuit breaker and realized I had no ability to turn off anything electrical in the camper whatsoever without disconnecting the power supply from the source (IE battery or power supply cord). I was absolutely horrified to say the least, even not considering our actual threat to safety, the other issue here is insurance is not going to want to pay for an electrical fire when there is negligence or incompetence involved. But wait...there's more...I went out on my first trip since recovering my 3 year old camper from its 2 year hostage situation and my heater isn't working so I checked everything out the best I could and ended up having to call a repair guy. I paid him $375 to come properly hook up my furnace because he said whoever set up the system completely hooked everything up wrong. I thought that was weird because it always worked before...then I realized that when my brand new floor had to be replaced, they must have disconnected every system inside the camper and somewhere between smashing the trailer into a tree and suplexing my TV, these morons found time to completely hook up every system incorrectly....oh yeah including my water lines, I keep remembering more and more as I type this.I wasn't going to leave a review after I got my camper back because I was just happy to have it back, but after thousands of dollars in repairs and who knows how many hours and days and weeks of my time spent just fixing all the crap these guys broke, I still don't even know if we've found everything.Ashley at the service desk was super polite, helpful, and on my side the whole time trying to get all this worked out, so there is at least one person that works there that's not completely incompetent. I would rather go back to Sadr City, Iraq for 6 consecutive deployments and eat spoiled goat meat every meal and sleep on a bed of nails than to ever step foot in another camping world ever again. If I could afford to, I would park my RV in the front entrance of the building and just set it on fire...oh wait, I could just wait for a power surge since my breaker panel was bypassed, an electrical fire was bound to happen on its own eventually. There is no option to leave 0 stars.

I would recommend this as being the LAST place you go for a camper. The customer support is absolutely awful. We bought the camper with missing parts with the promise of these items getting to us ASAP. After multiple phone calls and being switched between multiple people each time, 4 months later, still have none of the parts that were promised to us. We eventually spoke to Scott Rush (manager of parts), who said he would handle everything, we have not heard from him since the phone call in August. Not only have we not received the parts THAT WERE MISSING WHEN WE BOUGHT THE CAMPER, we continue to have more issues out of the camper but since we can t even get the parts originally promised to us, there is no way we can get anything else addressed. I would not recommend getting your camper at this location what s so ever.

I have tried getting in touch with the parts department for 2 days. Both days they took my name and number and still haven t received a call. I wouldn t buy a new camper from a place that doesn t support them. Supporting the unit is more important than the original sale. It should also be your leading source of revenue. I try to buy parts at local dealers. This is why people now bypass this and go to other websites.

Very attentive and knowledgeable. Robert Nelson was our salesperson and took a lot of time with us while we weighed our options. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Not very customer friendly towards me. They are polite in what they said to me but were not very honest in my opinion. They would rather gouge the hell out of me than make a fair deal. I ended up not doing business with them because I didn t feel I was being treated fairly.

I had my camper in for service and water damage repair . When finally got camper back was told the inspection was done (which paid $380) and that not water leaks where found and everything was checked everything worked. Well when got back to my job (in Florida 4 hrs away) I tried to shower and hot water heater not working. So had to pay $275 for a mobile person come check it out. When got the wall removed under camper (fifth wheel compartment area) found out they didn t plug my electric heater back in and all the water fittings where loose causing a water leak underneath. So after going up there and complaining to manager. They reluctantly refunded my $380 but I still was out the $275 I had to pay someone to tell me they didn t do job was paid to do. I strongly recommend going elsewhere besides camping world. They don t seem to care or have pride in their work just making excuses for not doing what they should have done in first place!

10 STARS!!!If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Everybody that works there are polite & very helpful. When I came in to browse a couple of campers that I've been interested in I got to work with Ms. Tracey Adcock. She is the BEST (: I got to speak with both Sales Managers, Jason & Greg, & the GM, Travis. All 3 are wonderful people & helped me A LOT when it came to explaining the process of buying a camper. Mr. Tobias Bradley took me on a tour of the place & introduced me to the sales team & they're all great people. Camping World in Anniston has a really strong team of Sales Associates. If you are looking to buy a camper/RV use this location. I promise you'll have an amazing expierence.

I wrote a five-star review just a few days ago but I had to delete it and I would like to retract the five stars. Are experience with Hayden was good he is a wonderful salesman he should probably go across the street to campers unlimited and apply for a job there I believe he is too good for Camping World after spending 4 hours there and being approved and giving the finance department everything they asked for still 4 days later trying to call back to see what is going on nobody answers the phone nobody is working nobody calls back nobody lets you know what's going on it was a complete struggle. Finally we gave up and my husband asked for his $5,000 back. Apparently they don't have experience dealing with retired veterans and their paperwork. I suppose we could have stuck it out for another week or two waiting but what's the point went to "Campers Unlimited" had no issue and within 24 hours everything was said and done and we bought a beautiful camper! No hassle everyone was polite and friendly and they actually answer the phone and try to help

Let me start by saying our salesman was very polite and professional. Me and my husband needed a cosigner which we had and they lived in texas. Our cosigner had excellent credit and was approved with no down payment needed. They ran our cosigner's credit got ID and everything then came back and told us that they couldn't send him the paperwork via Internet or certified mail that they would have to come from Texas to sign the paperwork. This makes no sense at all. If you can run the credit over the phone why could you not sign paperwork via Internet or certified mail? We will not be going thru camping world for our business we will take it else where. I felt like the gentleman in the credit office did everything he could to make sure that we couldn't get approved for reasons unknown to us. I would think someone in sales who works off of commission would go over and beyond to make the sale happen instead it seemed like they couldn't be bothered. They say it's breaking policy or protocol but why did you run the credit in the first place? They were told up front this person was from Texas. Very unprofessional and because the credit man couldn't be bothered we won't be a customer there and I'll be sure to spread word to anyone know not to go there !!

I have gone to several camping dealerships, but this is the first one that was truly honest and went above and beyond to help us. Jordan Flores was our salesman and I highly recommend him.

We were shown 2 RV's both plain Jane models that were supposedly in our "Budget". We will not return to their dealership. I would much rather look at a hundred and decide for myself if they are in my budget.

Today we came in to get our camper serviced. While we were waiting we decided to take a look at the new trailers where we met Kimberly. We told her exactly what we would want in upgrades and the very first trailer she took us to was spot on absolutely perfect for our needs. Kim helped us work a great deal and even worked it where we can take it home same day. I definitly recommend working with her as shes professional, knowledgeable, no pressure, and most importantly, honest. Excellent employee!

My wife and I went to the camping world of Oxford AL and they were very helpful. Kelly walked us through each camper to help us narrow it down and we finally picked out a very nice camper to start our adventures. Kelly was very knowledgeable and helpful through the entire process and followed up to see how our first trip was. We greatly appreciate her help through the whole process.Thank you,Chris Barker

Bought an RV in August 2022. we took photos of the unit In their parking lot when we bought it. When we got home with the unit we discovered a wheel (metal part) had a manufacturing defect and was constantly leaking air.. the dealership had to know this because the tire would go flat in 5 hours. Warrant (the people at sandpiper headquarter) sent us a replacement tire. I called forest river / sandpiper headquarters because no one at the dealership would call me back. Then when we were doing the quarterly inspection of the roof of the RV we found it was damaged. We went back and looked at the photos taken the day we bought it and we saw the damage at the very top. It looks like the unit was driven under something that was too low. We let the dealership know .. sent them MULTIPLE photos. We were promised someone would call us back multiple times. Manager Gilmore called me back once and I was told someone else would call me back. After 3 weeks no one is calling us back And I have called and left multiple messages and spoke with multiple managers who just pass the buck to someone else to deal with. This dealership sold us an RV with preexisting DAMAGE and they will not do anything about it. The unit is brand new and still under warranty and they will not take responsibility. The unit is also leaking hydraulic fluid from 2 leveling legs no one will call back to get this resolved. Do NOT buy anything from this dealership.. go somewhere else.Edited to add: the Forest River Sandpiper 5th wheel with a forward kitchen, we were told this was an 4 season unit . Nothing could be farther from the truth. We had had to repair just about every single water line over the summer due to leaks the dealership took 0 responsibility and the warranty with this unit is a joke. Now we have to put heating lamps under the unit inside the bottom panels so the lines do not freeze up.

Camping world is the best! I went to look at an RV. The salesman Hayden Smith was super helpful. He walked me through the entire process. Asked lots of ?s to make sure I was getting the exact camper I was looking for. If you need a camper I'd suggest it. Ask for Hayden

We bought a fairly new but used camper about 2 weeks ago. This is our first camper. It would have been nice if anyone had bothered to warn us that since the thing is equipped with an electric only refrigerator, Don t ever, not ever, cut your car off and fail to unplug the camper from your vehicle. It will drain both the camper s battery and your car s battery , double extra quick. When questioned about that issue, the question being, well, how long can I expect that battery to last? The answer was duh, duh, duh, why are you asking me this? How am I supposed to come up with a answer to a question like that? we don t know, I never tried it. But how could I be such an idiot as to not realize that you can t cut your car off without unplugging the camper, if that refrigerator is on.They left the refrigerator running when the camper was delivered. I didn t have any reason to suspect their was an issue until I came up with 2 dead batteries, one in the camper and one in my truck. I hauled the camper back for them to inspect the battery and electrical system today and I wasn t even mad, until I had to interact with one of their service counter guys. Maybe I m just old and crotchety, but I have spent my life fixing broke stuff, all kinds of broke stuff. I understand more about repairing mechanical things than the average guy. No kid, is ever allowed to talk down to me as if I have no understanding of what the issue might be. If one does, they going to hear about it!!! They are lucky that I didn t just unhook their dern camper and leave it with um.Another counter person realized that I was upset and got the service manager. He assured me that they would take care of my problem but the jury is still out. One smart on your staff can turn a good customer into an enemy real fast. Businesses that claim to provide good customer service in this day and age need to understand that and get rid of the weak links in their operations or at least keep them away from the public!! Nuff Said
