I called AAA. Had a blowout due to tire tread detachment with possible valve problem. Stranded on a very busy road. Evening and rush hour were approaching. Recalled AAA. AAA called me a few times. The very polite, efficient and professional driver finally arrived and safely droved me and towed my car home. I did not want to chance another tire issue since this was the second time within one month that two new tires with new valves blew. So grateful to the tow truck driver who also happens to be a military Veteran! Great service in military and as an Alabama Tow and Recovery driver! Bravo! Hip! Hip! Hooray!

Out showing some homes to a client and he backed into a very low brick retaining wall and caught the corner of a loose brick and popped the tire! ATR was there quickly and luckily were able to get the tire changed out and fill the spare with air. DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. This towing company is the BIGGEST joke in the world. Had to have my truck towed from exit 191 to their yard cause of a mechanical failure(1500 bucks to tow it 8-10 miles and got charged for the wood they had to buy that they had to go back and get cause they dident listen when I said they will need wind to block trailer up) After it got towed the company s was literally impossible to get a hold of and when you could get ahold of was very rude. Guy tried buying my truck. I said no I want to fix it then he ghosted me. Took a half a day of stocker calling then calling the police to get ahold of them. After we got ahold of them got a time and day arranged to pick my truck up. 7 days later from time of first tow the truck I hired to haul it home was there before the time that was agreed on to load the truck. No one around and then they answered finally they were rude and hung the phone up. After stocker calling them they answer the phone and says stop calling or we will block your number. Had the cops out there again and finally got the low life s there payed cause they would only accept cash ..weird . Whole day waisted on that and then still screwed around and said they was load it after the bad google review was taken down. So we took it down. Long story short had to have the police there a 3rd time (criminals normally pay the cops off probably why it took the cops 3 times of going there ) we had a different tow company come get the truck and get it loaded for us and then told us how crooked this company is. We found that out the hard way. Thanks to that other company for getting us taken care of in and hr and a half not a day and a half of screwing around with Alabama towing and recovery. Worthless place.

Moved from Plunkett to 1109 Duncan Avenue Anniston Alabama 36201. It's at the end of the street. My suburban got impounded and the office manager is reasonable and rational. Communicates well. Also kinda lenient. Just a little but though. 35 a day 200 towing fee. I may be wrong about the towing fee. There is a major problem I am going to resolve soon and will post the details. My dash heirloom is missing.

NEGATIVE 10 STARS ..... I had a driver picking up a semi for a customer that Alabama tow and recovery had recovered off the hwy due to a engine failure. They treated My driver very poorly. They Wouldnt take credit card Demanded CASH or EFS Check which they should supply EFS checks if that is 1 of there method of payments "THEY DONT" 42 miles round trip to get 1. Once bill was paid in full for towing storage and loading they refused to load the truck . Also We had to have the cops out there 3 times because they blocked my customers phone # .We ended up calling another tow company to load. NEVER USE ALABAMA TOW AND RECOVERY

Had them tow my 'new' 1995 Dodge tour/gig vanFast friendly service. Truck operator was on time and actually waited for me because I was behind.I would recommend their services again.

Shane received the call for my flat tire. He showed up before his estimated arrival time which I was happy about being that the call was late in the evening. He was very polite and professional throughout the process and it didn t take long for him to replace my tire. He was careful with removing tires in and out of the vehicle. Shane addressed all of my questions and concerns and made sure that I was good to go before he left. Overall, I am very pleased with the service that I received today.Service: Tire change

I called Alabama towing & recovery this wrecker service on the February 18th never showed up somehow the following day on Februay19th 2023 my vehicle suddenly cranked ?I almost froze to death on the side of the road the only reason I give him one star because they have showed up in the past?& hers the kicker cops stopped by and I said check back on me it's very cold and the cops never ded look up that day in whether & you well see how cold it was.

Worst experience ever! Took two days to come and pick up our rv, then promised to deliver to destination that night. Two days later we didn t know where the rv was. Phone calls were not answered. Used someone else phone and they answered with excuses and attitude. They were hired thru AAA. Last night I called ATR after calling like 10 towing companies who were short on drivers or would go the distance. My wrecker I just bought broke down and I needed a tow from Alabama to Georgia. About a 1hr 30m tow.. When I called when I thought it was going to be no she kept saying yes!! She quoted me a price and made the process super simple. She sent the driver right out he arrived in 15 to 20 minutes. It was 11pm at night. I was stranded!! The price was GREAT! As the driver arrived he hooked up the the tow and it begin to pour down rain. They sent me the best driver ever!!! His name was Shane but to me he was Superman. He literally saved my terrible day. He was very friendly and very professional and took me directly to my destination with no problems. Thank you ATR!!!! and Superman Shane!!!!!!! Today, I met the most wonderful person. Mickey, provided exemplary customer service. He was in constant communication with me before he arrived to take care of my car. Upon arrival, he was professional and courteous. I could not have asked for anything better, he exceeded my expectations. Thank you Mickey for a superlative job!

Since I have been at my college, Bill D has come to help me both times I have had car trouble! Amazing person and he was 100% honest with me about my car and where I can take it when it would not start and when i had battery trouble he fixed me right up! He always made it at a great time and I did not have to wait all day. Amazing guy! The business is great too! They took a look at my car and fixed me right up and the atmosphere of the people were very nice and kind. Thank you Alabama Towing & Recovery!

Mr. Henry and his team are amazing! They replaced my entire ABS system and my e-break! My car drives better now than it did when I bought it! He''s very upfront on the details of what he is doing and keeps you informed! We live a hour and a half away and he has my business from now on!
