I had my truck towed in bc the engine started making a knock and the check engine light came on. I was told the engine was blown and needed replaced. I was quoted over $7k for an engine replacement. Also asked for my front end to be checked bc of some unusual tire wear. I was told I needed new upper and lower control arms and ball joints on both sides and that would be nearly $1000. I was told my oil he been changed to test the engine before it was found to be bad yet when I took my truck home I changed the oil myself and the old oil was still in it and the old filter was still in place nothing had been doneI had my truck repaired by another mechanic and the motor was not bad it needed lifters and a new camshaft the cost for labor and everything was around $2500. The mechanic also said my front end was fine it was tight with no play and I needed an alignment only. I saved almost $6000Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

This business is a 20 star out of 5 . The owner was absolutely Fantastic to deal with ! We came from ohio and broke down on the side of the highway heading to Florida . We blew a trans line and couldn t go anywhere. Owner dropped what he was doing to come help us . We then blew a break line after the trans line and he was able to get us in the shop and all fixed up ! Didn t charge us an arm and a leg either ! Absolutely wonderful company and if I lived out here I d be going to them for all of my auto repairs . Thankful that this company restored my faith in humanity ! You guys seriously rock !! CUSTOMERS BEWARE! All im going to say is don't deal with these hacks! Waste of time and money! There inexperienced, and will lie to cover there screw up's! They also got grease on the inside of my vehicle and lied about that also! I'm serious don't go to them! Such great customer service, I would highly recommend these guys for all your car repairs! Clay took time out of his day to drive my 2 year old and I home so we didn't have to wait for repairs to be done! Such a great family owned company!

Fixed my air conditioning for 200$ less than it was estimated to be at another local repair shopped. Scheduled my appointment, got the parts, and everything fixed within 24 hours. Really awesome guys.

My water pump died on I77 on a Saturday. Powells initially said they couldn't help until Monday. Got a call back and said they got someone to do the work Sunday morning. Great experience, great people, fantastic work!Thank you Powell's Auto Repair!

The repair they fixed on my vehicle lasted 45 minutes. I was from out of town and they took advantage of me. I called and the reply was "What do you want me to do about it". I would deter anyone from using this mechanic ever.
