I had a pleasant experience today. This is my usual shop that I bring my car to for maintenance. They're always friendly, get me in pretty quickly, and have even called me in the past, to offer me Specials (discount) if I came in earlier than scheduled. I usually try to book appointments but even when I had an emergency situation with my battery, they got me in and taken care of in a timely manner. However, the only thing keeping me from rating 5-Stars is sometimes I feel a delay in communication, keeping me up to date with the status of my car. Today, for once, that didn't happen so I'm happy! Lastly, I've never felt like they try to fleece me, especially since I'm a woman. If there are things I don't need to have done, they actually won't do it, which is Awesome!

This has been the fourth or fifth time I've come to this location for my auto services. Each time the employees here are always polite, professional, and patient. They go above and beyond to help their customers and educate their customers about some of the issues with their vehicles.

This last visit was alot more pleasant. I made an appt short-notice and they were able to get me in on the date/time requested. While in store, they also took the liberty to explain that they did not have to charge me for the service I thought I was going to need, instead they only did the maintenance that was actually needed. I appreciated that because they could've taken advantage and did not. They were finished with my car in no time, and I had the rest of the day to run errand, greatly appreciated that, in addition to the fast, friendly service.

Worst Firestone location ever to date. I don t even understand how this place stays open. You make an appointment, bring your car in, if you don t physically wait then they disregard your appointment and just fit your car in where it fits in. This is ridiculous and bad business. I ll take my care to the Firestone in Chester before I ever bring any of my vehicles back here! Once a loyal customer forever saying screw you to the incompetence of the Hopewell Firestone!

Had a 12pm appointment. They told me I wouldn't get my car back until 4pm just to change the spark plugs. Then quoted me almost $500 for that and an oil change (with coupon). I took my keys, went to Advance, and did it myself in 20 mins for a fraction of the cost. Total ripoff.

Brought vehicle in to diagnose lack of A/C. Gave me a quote of $695 just to run die through the system. For reference, Strosnider Cheverolet will diagnose and die test for $165. Despite the system only requiring 2lbs of r1234yf to completely fill and die test, Firestone wanted to charge the equivalent of 10lbs of r1234yf and wouldn't adjust cost accordingly. Even after doing nothing to diagnose the issue, they charged $50 just to pick the vehicle up. Save yourself some time and look elsewhere at least for AC issues if your vehicle is 2014 or newer.

This is worst Firestone I've ever been to. Every single time I took my vehicle here to be serviced, it always came back with grease smears and smudges all over the interior of the vehicle that I had to clean off. Also, one time my alternator needed to be replaced and because I had Carshield I had to go through them to have the alternator replaced. Firestone refused to use the part that Carshield wanted to install so I ended up having to pay the difference for their more expensive part which was over $300.00. On another occasion, the center console in my vehicle needed a new latch put on so while my car was getting serviced by Firestone I asked them to reach out to the Acura dealership to see how much the part would be so I could purchase it and have them install it. The mechanic lied and said they reached out to the Acura dealership and was told they were out of that part. The mechanic then told me I should go to a salvage yard to see if I could get the part from them to replace it. I ended up calling thr Acura dealership the same day and that's when I found out they did have the part and it only costed $10.00. These people at this Firestone are not to be trusted. One of their mechanics also must have had a sharp object in his pocket when he got into my vehicle because they punctured a hole in my leather seat. I will not go back to this Firestone again, their have very poor customer service.

Very grateful for the service I received from this shop. I got a flat tire on 95 on my way up to NY. My fix a flat got me here only 5 min before they were closing for the day but the crew said they would stay late and replaced my tire at a very reasonable price. I was back on the road within 20 minutes! The staff here went above and beyond... thank you!Service: Tires

Don't follow directions well! I brought 1 brand new tire and 2 9/32 tires. 1 new tire was applied already because I was traveling and ran over a metal something! Ok! I wanted the other new tire on the front and the 9/32 on the back! Well, the brand new was placed on the back! I told a female at the desk, she said she understood but I didn't have any liquor when they finished and I looked to be sure! Will not return for any reason! I went across town to S&S tires (the smooth running hangout tire shop)!!!

I made an appointment to get a tire rotation, as well as an oil change. I showed up with my vehicle on time, and they refused to service my vehicle because my exhaust pipe had a rattle in it. They claimed, "Your vehicle has a pre-existing condition". I was stunned. They refused to put oil in my vehicle, why? Because my exhaust pipe was loose! Wow, unbelievable. These "technicians" clearly do not know anything about vehicles. Plus, the technician tracked in a bunch of mud into my vehicle. Bottom line, my vehicle left in worse condition that when I had arrived. Thanks for making my vehicle a mess, Fire Stone !! Thank goodness the employees displayed the behavior that they did, I never would have trusted them with my vehicle anyways. Take my two cents on the topic, and take your hard earned money elsewhere, because it's very evident that this place does not deserve it.Service: Oil change

I had a appointment rescheduled by the 800 number and when I went for my appointment they said I didn't have a appointment. I explained to the gentleman and he apologized and he worked me in. This was in the Hopewell Firestone on the 20th March 2023. The gentleman was very professional and great customer service.

This has to be the worst NO service I have ever experienced in my 52 years of living. Dropped my truck off for a simple inspection at 6:45 am in the morning. Called multiple times to check on the status. I was constantly informed that there were a few in front of me. Now! I am not sure what a few is to them. It is now 5:30 pm. I picked my vehicle up because I do know it does not take all day to do an inspection. When I went in to get my keys not even an apology for wasting my time or a reason for not even getting to my vehicle. Professionalism is out the window. Needless to say I will never deal with them again.

I made an appointment the day before. Reverified that morning. Arrived 5 minutes early, and it still took them 2hrs 15 minutes to replace 4 tires and change the oil. These are their main jobs and should be proficient at them.

Scheduled a day off from work to get vehicle inspected, dropped it off at 7am and was prepared to leave all day. Hadn't heard anything by 2:30 so I call....Apparently the guy who does state inspections doesn't want to come in?!? So wasted an entire day waiting on nothing, nor did they contact me to give me the option to go elsewhere...So here I am 5pm, still no state inspection and a day off for nothing. Used to love this place, nice people, good work.... But now I'm gonna have to find a new mechanic.

Complete waste of time. Showed up to drop off husbands truck at 7am for an alignment. Went to pick it up at 5pm and it was still on the lift. Then come to find out they can t do the alignment because it s lifted. We told them it was just lifted and they said no problem. They had the truck all day and when it came time for us to pick it up is when they said they can t do it. If you can t do the job why did it end up on the lift? Why did the person who took our info down when we made the appointment said you can do it? Will never come back to this place.

I went in to get my car checked out because it was making a whining noise and something was rattling. They told me what was wrong and that I didn't have to get it fixed yet as it wouldn't hurt anything to drive it. They didn't try to push me into getting it fixed now like other shops would do to make money. The staff are very nice. I haven't heard any of the staff complaining about how busy they are. The cars were overflowing in the parking lot but they seem to work as a team and got the cars fixed fast. Didn't see anyone on their phone or standing around goofing off. Looks like everything is running smoothly with the new supervisor, Donald. Good job, guys!

I know that traditionally people look askance at car care places, especially large chains. I have to tell you that the guys here are just wonderful. Since we moved here in 2019, they have taken great care of our cars for us, they listen to me without making me feel as if I don't know what I'm talking about. Their work is done quickly and completely.I had a small noise that made me very nervous and they checked until they could find the source and remove it. Seemingly everything was all right, there was a small piece of plastic causing a noise in my tire well, but the fact that it worried me led them to figure it out quickly.I think their prices are very fair and even when they are busy, their turnaround is better than most places I've had my cars serviced. I don't often say that I recommend a place wholeheartedly, but I can say this about the guys at Firestone.

Was very pleased by my experience here. Will definitely be coming back. They were honest, fast, thourough, and gave great customer service. Robin Thacker is great! She went above and beyond to explain everything to me. Every question I had was answered. She gave great salesmanship for me getting 2 new tires because of how they were wearing done. I will be back in a few days to get those tires and alignment! Great job!

This shop wouldn't value a alignment that was under warranty, they performed a alignment 2 months ago immediately following pick up it wasn't done right, steering wheel was not straight at all, pulling and my tires are now cupping. Dropped my car off again, at the same location to receive a phone call today that a jam nut was frozen and they did not have "nut buster". Picked my vehicle up, came home and my jam nut loosened with little to no effort. Including they tried to sell me outter tie rods, when I asked "how are you going to replace my tie rods if you cant break the jam nut loose" i never got an answer. I've worked at 3 different Firestones in the past 15 years in different states, and this by far has to be the most disheartening experience ever. Me as a technician would value a warranty. Now I have to take it to another shop and pay for another alignment, hoping it's done correctly. Would not recommend taking your vehicle to this location for there are "shady mechanics" that work there, and will rob you of your money.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment

The red headed woman in the front was rude. I asked if we can attempt to do a wireless pay before doing service on my truck after she told me they don't do wireless. It doesn't hurt to try but she saying that I was calling her a liar for no reason. It didn't even call her liar. I have another physical card on me just in case it didn't work. After the attempt to pay wireless she went to hide inside where the mechanics were working on the vehicles. She got pretty mad & was accusing me of calling her a liar. She left me at the lobby & she knew I was there waiting for her. She saw me & never bother to ask me if there was anything else I needed. I'm not sure if it was my appearance or what. I was calm & polite to her. I just needed my oil change.

After doing business with this location for over 14 years, I will NOT be returning. Had my vehicle towed to them on Sunday, at 12:30 in the afternoon after calling first for an appointment for that Monday. They called me late Monday afternoon and said they were so busy that they didn't get to it. But I was told they would pull it in first thing on Tuesday morning. I called Tuesday after 12 noon only to be told that they still had not gotten to it. Fifteen minutes later I get a call that they did a diagnostic and due to the code recieved, there was nothing they could do. So two days, no commitments kept and $107 spent for nothing....NO, I will not be returning.

We were traveling through town from northeast Ohio with our 4 small children when our tire blew on the freeway. Completely overwhelmed and exhausted we called Firestone. They got us right in and had us back on the road in no time! Everyone who works there were so nice and helpful and I m so grateful to them! Great place and highly recommend!!!
