This was my first oil change since moving to Austin and I will definitely be back. Very first time I ve had a woman/female passing/ non-binary team working on my car! They were all so nice, offered education, and made recommendations as to not rip me off. I watched as one worker saved a bug, and another worker offer patient guidance to another learning. Easily, the most wholesome and trusting car service I ve ever received. Highly recommend!

OMG! Who would have known the best customer service in Austin would be found in a car inspection joint? Groovy Lube really does provide groovy service. The space is cool, clean, and they have a restaurant/bar next door? What?! John and the rest of the staff on site were super friendly and had good vibes all around. Don t go to Jiffy lube that s close by, go to Groovy Lube for a better time! Whatever they re doing, they are doing it right.

I ve been going to Groovy Lube for the last two years I believe. I have not once had an unpleasant experience. I will say the staff seems to change often, but nonetheless good experiences each time I have gone.Today I was charged $30 for full service which entails a front windshield wash, air in tires (which I did not need today) and checking fluids. But they only top off windshield wiper fluid. Nothing else.I was not told I would be charged for these things I was only expecting to be charged for what I asked for, an oil change. Just some feedback for the company. Tell your customers ahead of time you are charging for additional services and allow us to accept or decline. I do not recall having paid for these services at any other visits I ve had.All 4 of my tires pressures were at 40 when I got there and when I left they were at 38x2 and 37x2. So they took air out? Cause definetly no air was put in. Any how it didn t sit right with me that I was charged for such things that are normally free other places.Had I known ahead of time I would have respectfully declined those services for $30. I already pay $100 for my oil change.

Such kind and considerate workers! Took their time with my car and listened to my concerns. 100% coming back here for my next oil change and check up! Special shout out to Shay, she was so helpful when trying to figure out where my cabin air filter was

Came here for an oil change and state inspection and the guys were super nice! Explained all the options, were transparent and fair with pricing, and they even cleaned my windshield as a courtesy. Highly recommend.

These folks always do a good job for me. They get you in and out pretty quick and go out of the way to provide some amenity/courtesy services to leave your vehicle better than they found it.

These guys are the best! I came in just for a free tire pressure check, and they did just that but also topped off the fluids and cleaned my windshield.I ve been getting oil changes here for several years and highly recommend their services.

Best oil change experience I ve ever had in Austin. And I ve lived here for 5 years so I ve had quite a few oil changes between servicing my car and my lady s car. Yet this was the best. The two managers were some solid down to earth yet professionally minded people. They changed my oil, fillled tires, tip off fluids, and like 3 other things. This will be my new go to place for sure

The team and the manager, John, were so kind and welcoming! I came in for a state inspection about 45 mins - an hour before they closed and while 3 other places turned me away, they happily took my car in and did the inspection. From the free key chain to the attitudes to the business cards with coupons on the back + apparent discounts for students, Groovy Lube has definitely earned themselves a returning customer for sure. They may be hidden away a bit but they re absolutely worth visiting!!

There's something about local places around Austin that give you small town feel even though you are in the city. Great customer service, knowledgeable staff and valuable quick service.

The team and manager, John here went above and beyond after a little mistake. I was incredibly impressed with how far they went to make everything right. I felt so confident in the care of my car! Everything from squeezing me in last minute to giving. me suggestions and replacing a part - the staff was kind and the manager had incredible integrity. I have been going to them on and off (a few moves in between) since college. I already thought they were great but after this experience, they will have me as a customer forever. :)Service: Oil change

Groovy Lube is AWESOME, I have been going to them for years for my oil changes and state inspections. The customer service is top notch, Kassy and the team get me in and out quick, and I am always impressed with the quality of their work and their professionalism. I highly recommend Groovy Lube!

Wanted to like this place so bad since they re a local business, but my first time there was for routine maintenance/oil change. Had iffy/slow service, but they got it done and sent me off. 2 weeks later, my engine starts having issues. One week later, my car doesn t start at all. Long story short, I had an obviously corroded battery. Why they didn t tell me 3 weeks ago when i got an oil change, I ll never know! Guess I won t go back. They also were charging $350 for a new battery at their main location versus another company charging only $150 plus free installation.Service: Oil change

This place has restored my faith in taking my car in to get an oil change!! They were so nice, the service was quick and they went above and beyond. Great prices as well, the internet was down so I paid in cash. I was $5 short and the employee took $10 off of my service, it actually made my day!Not including them taking extra time to remove some plastic that had gotten wrapped around under my hood. AND they filled my tires up with air. Beyond pleased with their customer service. I will definitely be coming backService: Oil change

The staff here is always so friendly, and they go above and beyond to ensure your car is in good shape! John was great - wish I got the names of the others. Checked out my tire pressure, oil, etc to figure out why my car was making a squeaky noise, all for free. Even had one guy cleaning my windshield while the other was inspecting my car! They explain why they re doing what they do/what to keep an eye out for, and overall just have integrity. They don t try and steal your money by upselling or pretending there are issues that aren t there. Will always be a loyal customer to Groovy Lube!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I showed up yesterday needing some help changing my license plates and having the front plate attached. I was seen immediately, despite not having an appointment, and was treated with wonderful customer service and a smile. I offered my technician, Kassy, a cash tip, which she refused. I left within 20 minutes of arriving, and will be returning with any future automotive business. Thank you Groovy Lube!

I came over early one morning with a engine splash shield that I needed to replace. Completely left the screws at home but they were super nice, took a look, dug around to find screws that would work and then fixed everything. The big thing: they didn't even charge me for labor! And it's summer, it's hot! It probably sucks to do free labor in the heat. Love these guys. Will absolutely be bringing my car here for any oil change or repair. Loyal fan now.Service: Oil change

I called today to see how long it would be for me to get an oil change and state inspection, and I thought for sure I wouldn t be able to get in. Kassy said come on down! I got everything taken care of in record time (I was only there for maybe 30 minutes) and everyone was so professional and friendly! Kassy was so knowledgeable and very helpful, and also gave me some good advice about my vehicle. This shop is very nice and super helpful. I had very good experience with them they helped me so much. The customer service from the person that checked me in all the way to the people that checked my car were so helpful. A big shout out to Michael and Cassy. Just got my oil changed here for the umpteenth time, and as always it was a great experience. Friendly folks, topped off the fluids in my truck, and done in 15 minutes. Just enough time to get a really good coffee at the coffee shop next door. If they had taken longer I could have switched to beer. Ah well, can't win em all.
