Came in at 6pm when they close at 7pm. My rotor brakes needed repair so they took my keys and drove the block to check them out. Instead of being honest with me about them not having the time to repair and come back the next day, they gaslighted me and said there s nothing wrong with my car. Sketchy and LAZY people. Do not recommend.

Offered great pricing for the fuel filter change. Took them 30 to 45 minutes to get done as well as having a friendly staff. No problems since then and give a 30 day warranty, if any issues arise. They are also open later than most on Saturday. Great people, great prices, great service what else can you ask for.

Got me in quick and got the job done, but make sure you get a price before you give the go ahead. They charged me about fifty dollars too much for a couple of tack welds and an oxygen sensor bung install - 15 minutes of work.

I've taken both my cars here and services were promptly taken care of...they dont try to up sell and are honest about what needs are to be taken care of...I had my radiator replaced for one car and my A/C fixed for another. Fair prices and no issues after. Customer service if good too. Definitely my go to place.

Called in to ask when they could work on my car and said bring it on down. Arrived there had a few minute wait as they were finalizing service with another lady then they took the car out for a test drive.I had been experiencing some rear wheel noises and want to make sure I got it fixed before anything serious happened. Gave me a price and then said it would be two hours as long as nothing else was bad.Gave them a call after like 90 minutes and they were experiencing some other issues because the issue had become worse but they got it done with some extra work and only charged a few dollars more. They also did the inspection on the car in just a few minutes as well.Quick service, low prices that really are fair, and I would recommend them again.

Avoid these people at all cost. They will takeyour money away and not even fix your vehicle. Even for a simple inspection, they will tell you your vehicle has all sorts of problems just so you could spend more money on them. When customers go, they are not even polite enough to tell you that you could wait inside the building (office). No!! they leave you outside waiting rain or shine, don't matter. Will not return to them EVER again.

I used to think this place was great, but they recently installed replaced our suspension in our 4runner and unbalanced our driveshaft when replacing the u-joints. Upon returning twice because of a vibration, they insisted nothing was wrong. It wasn't until we took the car to get balanced before a road-trip that we realized that we needed to entirely re-build the driveshaft because of their improper install. Their mistake and failure to admit error has cost us thousands of dollars at this point. I don't think they are bad people but, please go elsewhere if you care about your car and your wallet.

I brought my Challenger Scat Pack in for a muffler delete to be done. I was in and out in 30 minutes and they did an excellent job. Now my car sounds the way it was meant to sound, AWESOME!. Thanks guys for a job well done! I wont hesitate to have any other exhaust work done by Capitol Muffler &Mechanic for sure!

Went in to get a nut off the engine mount bolt that had come out entirely as I was replacing the engine mount in my car. Took it to Capitol M&M since they are close to where I live. Handed the bolt to the receptionist, who was nice, and she gave it to one of the techs. He took it to the back and tried to take it off. After a few minutes of waiting, the tech came in and handed the bolt to the receptionist who then told me that they couldn't take it off. I looked at the bolt and saw that the tech had bent it and stripped the tread on the bolt. I told the receptionist and she went back and told a different tech what had happened. After a few minutes tech came back in and handed her the bolt. She then told me that he was able to take the nut off and handed me the bolt and the nut. I looked at it and told her that it was still bent. She replied with "I told him it was bent. He was able to take it off though." What do you do? Argue with them after they know what issue they caused and don't do anything to resolve it? It's not worth it. I left and now will be heading to a junk yard to see if I can find a straight bolt I can use. I appreciate their willingness to help and actually fixing the original problem for no money, though I offered before things went wrong, but completely causing a permanent one is actually worse. This was my experience with them, others have had good ones from the few reviews here... I'll just say, hope yours is a good one.

Other Mechanic wanted >$650 for OEM Cat. bolted on. I bought Universal one online ~$50. Capitol cut and welded new one in 15min during my lunch break for $100. I work down town. Done! < $150 total for job. Savings $500. Bada bing bada BOOM! Nice guys. Let me see my old one and watch it put on. I will use them again.

They gave false information on the phone and then when we got there we wanted 15 mi utes for someone to come help us and nobody ever did so we left

After spending $600 for replacing wheel bearing, my SUV is worse than before. I tried talking with them next day after repair but they refused to look at the problem. Avoid them at any cost.
