Pop's was suggested by a good friend as well as from several locals, and it is conveniently maybe a mile from home. My 2014 Town and Country was having a no start no crank issue along with the infamous oil cooler housing leak, which is in turn what caused my starter to burn out and crap out. I contacted Pop's on a Friday, told them what was going on and what my suspicion was (Thomas was super nice and knowledgeable about my vehicle's issue), I then had AAA tow it in around noonish, and I received a call by 3:30 ish, confirming my suspicions and an estimate. ($672 for the starter, $748 for the new upgraded aluminum oil cooler housing). I do feel that their prices are a little on the higher side, but just a little. But I wanted to support a local small business. Always remember you do get what you pay for and not all auto work should be scrimped on. They are closed on the weekends, so they started on my girl first thing Monday and she was ready to pickup by noonish. I am pleased with the work that was done and it was done pretty quickly, which is important to this busy mom of 3. I hope to not have to see them for a while, but most definitely will be my first call if I need work done again. Thanks guys, I appreciate ya!

Had a low tire on our way home. Pulled into Pops. Found a nail in the tire; plugged it, got air in it and we were on our way within 15 minutes. Great experience! Highly recommend for all of your automotive needs in the Cherry Grove area!

This garage was excellent, professional, and courteous! Brett was awesome and explained everything to me and what they were doing to fix my problem.I was in vacation traveling from New York state and I needed a mechanic so I found this place with great reviews. I am happy that I did cause they fixed my problem.I recommend this place to anyone who needs a good mechanic!

I went in unscheduled and was seen right away for a tire puncture. Receptionist and service tech both super helpful and friendly. They had me in and out in under 20 minutes (would have been sooner if the metal bar in my tire wasn t being so difficult to remove). Very very affordable. They saved the last days of my vacation. Used this place for years, but not any more. Prices are high and service isn t what it used to be. Had tires installed here recently and have been back 3 times. Was charged for valve stems that should have been installed to begin with. Plus tire pressure wasn t correct. My advice, get a quote and compare prices. You won t be using Pops. Call Chris at Motor Masters, better price and he ll get the job done the first time. You won t have to go back three times to get the job done right. Disappointing.Service: Tires

Pops garage has been taking care of our cars for the past 5 years. Great people and service! Had a problem with my 350Z last week. Took in and Angel thought he had resolved the problem but a few days later I was still having issues. Took it back today and problem was resolved. No charge. All I have ever wanted is good work and honesty. Pops provides both. Highly recommend.

Tom and the folks at Pops were very pleasant and helpful. performed repairs for me on my ford truck quickly as I was on vacation and leaving soon thereafter. As a local, I can say this is hands down the most honest, reliable mechanic shop in town. I showed up needing a repair on a tire that had a slow leak. They didn't charge me anything to repair the tire so of course, when I needed work done on my SUV I came back. They were amazing got me right in and didn't overcharge me. If you need any mechanical work or tires for your vehicle...no need to look any further. I highly recommend Pops.

We have been having an ongoing problem with our 2000 Toyota Landcruiser not starting periodically.We were referred to Pop s Garage.We came from out of state and were worried about where to go to see someone we could trust and the expense.They detected the problem and fixed it within 1 day for a very fair price!We are satisfied customers and POP s garage is our new Auto Shop.We highly recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Car wouldn t go into gear and had it towed on Sunday memorialDay was on Monday so they were closed and on Tuesday they opened at 8:00 our car was fixed and ready by 9:00 am. Great price honesty and great customer service will always use them for sure if needed on vacation here.

I was given a few recommendations in the area for service. I chose Pop's Garage. Turns out, they had the best price, great people, and excellent service. My car was taken in immediately and the work took exactly as long as they said. They even filled up my spare tire with air. My car rides straight as an arrow and tight. Nena the dog at the door is a special bonus. Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

Pop's is great! Everyone there is experienced, professional and caring. I trust Pop's completely and have done so for many years with my cars and truck.Today, September 2022, my truck needs serving. Took it in and a mechanic got right on it and I had a diagnosis and estimate within an hour. These are trustworthy professionals. Highly recommend you give them a try. They deserve more than 5 stars.

Needed an urgent repair. Just made it into South Carolina and the Check battery light kicked on. Systems began to light up needing attention. An auto parts store checked and said I needed a new alternator. They Recommended Pops. Monday morning walked to Pops and was able to schedule repairs same day. They were amazing and I really appreciate them being able to help me same day. Can t thank them enough.

I had an issue with a brake caliper where I was towed and was literally 10 hours from home. My vehicle was towed, dropped off at 10, and fixed by 1. The staff were great and very helpful in a very tough spot. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Thanks Pop s Garage!!!!

We were on vacation and I noticed issues with my vehicle pulling to the left, I was concerned about using someone I was not familiar with plus being out of town and I looked up alignment services in the area and Pops had good reviews and I gave them a call they set up an appointment the following day . I found them to be just as the reviews stated . They did really good work at a Fair price and resolved my issue. I would recommend Pops to Locals or tourists as well . I've been driving around for 15 minutes looking for somebody that had a working air pump so I can put some air in my daughter's tire. On a whim I pulled in here and asked and they not only pumped up the tire, they refused the money I was going to give them. If I ever have any other issue with any of my cars while I'm down here at my condo I know where I'm going. These guys are awesome.Service: Tires

Super friendly & honest. I had a screw in my tread. The mechanic removed the screw and tested to see if it penetrated the tire (which it didn't). He told me I was lucky & to go play the lottery. :-)They didn't charge me anything, even the mechanic's time. I tipped the mechanic & promised to bring my vehicle back for its next oil change. I'd feel comfortable bringing my vehicles to Pop's for most mechanical needs.

We were in Cherry Grove for our 25th Anniversary and managed to pick up a screw in our tire. They were able to check it immediately, and informed us it hadn't actually punctured the tire. I offered to pay, and they refused! Super nice people!

It s hard to trust some mechanics now a days but this is BY FAR the best experience I ve ever had. They re extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and affordable! My buddy Brett Roberts knows how to keep customers satisfied and he will do whatever it takes to do so! Great guy, and extremely good mechanic!
