I can't say enough about how great of an experience we had with Wally & Sons Auto Shop.First, we went to them for an inspection and had some major issues taken care of. I had no idea the car was unsafe, but they took care of us and even helped put on new plates. They take the time to explain everything in great detail, make you feel welcome, and charge a reasonable price for the work performed. I know that in the future, this is the only place I'll go for my automotive needs because this family truly cares about their business and customers.Thank you guys! 10/10 definitely go to them in EP for your needs!

I cannot recommend Wally & Sons enough. My situation with my car was complicated and time consuming... Muhammad and his family made me feel secure and comfortable throughout the whole process. They took care of me like i was family, that's not something you find anymore. Have dealt with this family on numerous occasion for my vehicles. This family is a class act and should be very respected! They work hard and offer incredible services. They are the best in East Providence. I can t say enough about these guys and highly recommend them to anyone looking for work done on their vehicle. Thanks again guys !!

I just registered a vehicle from out of state and needed an inspection. They were close by so decided to check out the shop. Very friendly and accommodating without an appointment. My vehicle had an aftermarket muffler that I didn't realize was illegal in RI so it wouldn't pass. I was leaving town in two days so they offered to replace it immediately while it was already inside on the lift. Quoted a very fair and reasonable price and had it done in under three hours. Very impressed and would 100% return.Oh and their official greeter Spongey the bird is hilarious and friendly and will climb on your finger, sit on your shoulder and talk up a storm while you wait!

Needed a mechanic to look at my car for a rattling muffler. Wasn t sure where to go due to being out of state. Found Wally & Sons Auto Shop and great service was provided without charge as an eroded, expanded, and worn out heat shield was pulled out from underneath the car. Employer was kind, helpful, generous, and efficient. Highly recommend to others needing service for their vehicles. Will be returning again if other problems arise in the future.

My husband took his car here for some work. They did a great job. A month or so later I my brakes were making a weird noise. Although they didn't hear it while driving with me, they took a look at my rotors and identified those as the problem. They replaced the rotors and the noise was gone right away. They did the work quickly and the price was fair. I would recommend!

I just got my Benz repaired at this amazing shop very great customer service. The pricing I got from other shops was crazy. I came here for the first time wow such great pricing and they treat your car with care!! Make sure you check them out you won t regret!!!Thank you definitely coming back

My friend recommended me this shop and I will definitely be returning for regular maintenance along with other work if needed. Very kind people with fair pricing and quick with the work! Highly recommend. They are also family owned which is always a plus

We dealt with Mohammed ! We had a great experience! My car had many issues I took it to places like firestone and was given information that was not true. They provided pictures videos I feel so safe coming to this place! Definitely worth your time and money won t be going to anywhere else for my car issues!!

They were very caring and considerate! I was in a rush and they took that into account with their service. I did not feel overcharged AT ALL! I very much appreciated how they explained stuff to me without "dumbing it down". Unlike some other auto shops, it felt like they tried to make me feel like I could answer questions without appearing "stupid". Also, really beautiful interior :)

Looks like they removed my review so want to leave a quick note of caution. This repair shop overcharged me on SEVERAL occasions, took several days to do basic repairs with zero communication, told me I needed a bunch of things fixed that I didn t need (brakes, struts, rotors, drive shaft), literally forgot to put the interior of my car back together when they cut the power to my sunroof because they couldn t figure out how to fix it after a WEEK of being in the shop, emptied my gas tank and put several hundred miles on my vehicle during my last service appointment, and left dirty footprints all over my backseat. I asked them to fix their mistake after they fixed the blower motor once but then the AC didn t work and they warrantied the work but charged me $800 for labor . Scam artists, thieves, untrustworthy business and I will continue to post this review over and over again if you keep deleting it :)Update to your response: interesting that my initial, detailed review in November of 2022 (my last visit, actually, since I purchased a new vehicle in 2023 and also would never return to your shop!!) after my last visit, was in fact, removed. I left detailed information at the time about mileage upon dropoff and pickup. I left detailed information about the number of days between dropoff and pickup on multiple occasions, the sunroof, blower motor issues and forgetting to put my car back together fiasco. I m trying to make sure no one else falls for the scam. Stay away.

Been coming here for over a year now because of how helpful and honest they are. Always friendly and paying extra attention to detail. Recently had a worn out wheel bearing replaced and they discovered a different wheel bearing was worn out too without me knowing. Since they know me they have helped me out short notice even when they were busy. Family-owned and operated, hard-working, and nice to talk with. Never hope to end up with a car in the shop but it s very reassuring knowing these guys are here to take care of it.

My son owns a 1999 Ford F150 Pickup with very low mileage for its age. As I later found out, there was an issue with a certain range of F150s where they developed leaks both around the windshield and rear window. Mohammed and his team at Wally & Sons were able to address and fix both issues. Due to the conditions of both front and back glass, Mohammed needed to order replacements. He and his team removed and replaced the glass and ensured that there were no leaks in both the front and the rear. The truck is like new again, and dry inside. Mohammed kept me informed of everything he needed to do and stayed in touch with me every step of the way. He fixed the problems as fast as possible. He has since contacted me to check-in on the condition of the vehicle. I highly recommend Mohammed and Wally & Sons if you are in need of service.

I replaced my thermostat in my 2015 Silverado 1500 LT and I couldn't get it to stop leaking. Went to make sure the bolts were torqued to spec and a bolt head snapped off. I have been to a few places in EP for repairs and haven't really had great experiences but when I called this shop they were super friendly on the phone and told me to bring it by. I asked if they could fix it same day and they said they would try. They had to tap the bolt out which takes some time so I understood it may not be ready same day. When I showed up everyone was so welcoming, the kids there were all super polite. They ended up being able to get it done. Little do they know I needed it done same day because I made a promise to my daughter to take her somewhere the next day and they made that happen. The work was done really well. They checked everything over, showed me the crack in the thermostat I had bought, and showed me the work they did. They left my truck super clean even after what I know is a messy coolant job. I would 100% use this shop again and you should use them too. It's hard to find a shop that does quality work at a fair price AND is so friendly and welcoming.Service: Engine repair

Brought my 2008 Subaru here for several extensive repairs. Everyone at Wally s was super professional and transparent every step of the way, including pictures and text updates. In the middle of the repairs, the Washington Bridge closed suddenly, and they handled that obstacle well.They went above and beyond to get my car back in working condition. Next time I need a mechanic, I ll be back here!

Very good liars told me the car was one owner in December and next day check engine light came on..It said Catalyst converter, came to my attention that that car must've been from a junkyard..The car is 90% rotted underneath and have had to spend $2000 to fix on a car that I bought no less than $4000 dollars for..I've spent money that I will never get back, was lied to on the spot..I know you have to repair cars and such but this has been a complete trash bin..I had to leave an honest review since they don't care to talk to me about it..Honestly I'm really disappointed with this entire sale of this car.. I've had to fix so much that I probably should have financed a car at this point..All I'm saying is don't trust them and bring a really food mechanic because this car must have been in some type of flood or something to look as bad as it has been..The car wasn't even appealing the front hood was peeled off and hung dent mark which I have come to buy a new and is only reason I didn't show it..Car has had a ton of work on it..I paid it..So this was honestly the worst car buying experience I have ever had..Worst cars you buy them in Rhode Island area..

They did the job.Update: I went to open my hood and found out they broke my hood latch on the interior and didn t fix it before giving it back to me nor tell me about it. They just caused me more problems. And they left are their greasy dirty fingerprints all over my headlight. Very upset.

Great service. I called in the early afternoon because my car was making noises and was told to come in so they could take a look asap. We did a quick drive and they identified the problem, made sure everything else was in top shape, and fixed my car within a couple hours. I will definitely be coming back if my car needs anything else. They're a friendly group and the bird was also very entertaining during my wait :).Service: Brakes

Straight up I could not have been happier with my experience at Wally and Son s auto.I had both a great experience with his sons and Wally, incredible quick service that got this stranded out of tiebreak back on the road. . Highly highly recommend.The back story. A week ago I was visiting a friend in Providence and went to leave town on Monday to discover I had a bad exhaust problem and could not drive my car.So, on a cold Monday night, after the surprise 6 of snow, at 7:20 pm looking for a mechanic online I was surprised to discover they were still open. Mohammed picked up the phone and could not have been nicer and assured me they could handle it.He advised me to bring the car in the next morning, (confirming my NY mechanic s advice to have it towed - and not drive it). I have Triple A which I used and found them easily.So, I had the car there at 11 am Tuesday and by 2 PM was on my way. Wally and Son s turned a stressful dilemma into a great experience.

I came to Wally & Sons from my normal auto shop in a pinch because they were open late. They solved the problem by midday the next day and it was great service.About half a year later, I started to get some other issues with my car and went back to them. They were so accommodating and helpful, and they actually care. They took the time at the end of the day to explain to me how to take care of my old car s issue and fixed things I hadn t even pointed out.These guys are the real deal and I will exclusively go to them moving forward. I recommend anyone nearby do the same.

Wally, the owner of the shop, is a really knowledgeable and kind man. he not only gave me and my girlfriend a ride back to our place after my car broke down and we didn t have a ride, but he also cut me a break on some things and helped me out without charging for a few small things since the bills were adding up fast. They do good and honest work and are kind people, and are more than willing to help someone out when they re not in a good spot. They re also quite knowledgeable as well, especially wally. He was always more than willing to talk to me and discuss options to the point where it was probably annoying, but he did his best to help me out the whole time. Also, the sweet little shop bird Spongey really made me feel better about the whole thing, and kept my spirits up when things weren t looking great. I love everybody there, can t recommend them enough.
