Four new tires for my son's pathfinder. The guys picked a great economical M/S brand along with a quick oil change. This will take the vehicle well into the 200K mile mark. Thank you!

I normally do not leave negative reviews because why be that person? However today I had an unpleasant encounter where I felt it was important to leave a review. I have been going to Rosemont Tire & Services as my family has utilized them in the past. I find their prices expensive (I generally am able to get oil changes ~$60-70 range at other establishments both downtown and in the suburbs, but get charged $79.95 - $89.95 when serviced here for an oil change alone). Fine, not a major issue as long as the service is provided in a timely and professional manner. I called almost a week prior to make an appointment for an oil change. When I arrived ON time, they took down my information and told me they would call me once my car was ready. I stayed in the vicinity shopping plaza awaiting a call, and decided around ~1.5 hour mark to stop by and wait at the shop. They had not even started my oil change when I arrived and my car was still parked out in their front lot. The older gentleman at the front desk was abrasive, almost placing the blame on me saying that I had left the car as a drop off and therefore they have other cars ahead of me. I can understand the miscommunication if we want to call it that (I made an APPOINTMENT which I thought would be honored as a service taking place at said time) - my issue was that he did not once attempt to apologize or take some sort of stance to provide ANY degree of customer service. He told me to reschedule if I want, which I did not wish to do so and he proceeded to toss my keys on to the counter. Just because you're an elderly person does not give you the right to lack any manners. I'm sure they do OK work, but why deal with rude take it or leave it behavior if you can get much better care elsewhere. I highly recommend checking out another auto service store before you venture here.

BE CAREFUL!! Two stars cuz this didn't happen to me, but happened to my girlfriend. She needed an oil change and walked out being charged $623. They told her that the last time she was in her brake pads needed to be changed. She agreed to get this done as well. When the bill came, it was not only for brake pads but for rotors as well. This was not cleared before starting the replacement process. Be careful, tell them exactly what you want

This place was fantastic! I had gotten a flat tire the night before going on a trip to Va. I was so upset but I found that Rosemont was open early on Saturday. I went in early and explained my situation....they were so wonderful there! They treated me like Royalty.....got the job done safely and quickly and had me on my way within an hour, at a fair price to boot! Thanks so much Rosemont Tire and Service!!!

Very professional and empathetic people. Was able to get my car in for inspection with one days notice. Helped bring down the price on necessary repairs. Kept car over two nights until I was able to pick it up again, and added no overnight fees. This place is a kind of rarity anymore compared with the super chain-garages. Definitely will be doing business with Rosemont T&S again.

I've been coming to Rosemont Tire & Service since they first opened, back in the 1980s. Great bunch of guys; full service when it comes to your vehicle. They really know their stuff when it comes to diagnosing and repairing cars. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They kept my cars in tip top shape; got over 150k mileage before trading. They always tried to accommodate and help even when I didn't have an appointment. Thank you Steve and Dave. You Rock!

I ve been going to Rosemont for over 15 years and I wouldn t take my car to anyone else it s a rare find when you can trust someone with your car. They are always accommodating, kind and explain everything in details I had a 2000 Chevy Blazer and for years no one could find out why the service light kept going on..I took my car to Rosemont and they knew right away what was wrong with it I since have a new car, however, one of my Family members still has the Chevy with over 200,000 miles on it and I m still taking my other car to Rosemont .they are the BEST in my opinion.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Oil change

This is the second time I ve brought my car here where they charged me for services they didn t perform. They rotated my tires six months ago and trashed multiple lug nuts, and tried to tell me it came in like that when I brought it in a few weeks ago. They re the only ones that have rotated my tires so not sure how that would ve been possible. They were also pretty rude when we called them back, and shady with the details.

As usual, since I've been going to Rosemont Tire & Service for 18 years, I was happy with my experience there. I have never had a bad experience. All of the guys who work there are great and nice and get to know their customers and always try and make time for them and help them. You will never be ripped off here and can trust them. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I had a flat tire on my way to work and called every place local to try to get help. This was the one place that told me to come right in and they would have a look. I was there for less than an hour and they repaired my tire (there was a tiny nail in it). The cost seemed inexpensive (but never had this issue before so nothing to compare it). Most importantly, the customer service was outstanding! Everyone was kind and courteous and went above and beyond to put me at ease. I highly recommend this place and will return for future car care needs.

My son attends school in the area and we we are 6 states away. Of course not knowing any honest/reliable auto repair shops near school he went to the nearest one around him at the time which turned out to be Rosemont. Fortunately he chose the right one as the owner was very honest in giving me proper diagnosis and repair suggestions. He will now be our go to for any auto repairs at Villanova.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They couldn t fix my tire based on the nature of my problem but they were extremely helpful. They explained in detail what happened to the rim and why they couldn t manage to fix it and even directed me to a location that could possibly help. I ve been on the hunt to get my rim fixed for a while and they were the most helpful I ve come across.

Quite expensive. Heads up; labor here cost $120/hour. Despite that, I was satisfied in how quickly they got to my car even though it was just before a holiday weekend (when they diagnosed it). Once they reopened several days later, surely with many jobs queueing up, I followed up and they got the part ordered, which arrived the next day, and I had my car back that evening. Their service was very convenient and efficient in that regard.

Ridiculous. $50 to put the tire on a rim. Said they charged me more because I brought my own tire. Midas down the street did it for me last time for $30 and I brought my own tire to them also. If you buy your tires wholesale like anyone who wants to save money would, go to Midas. They don't penalize you for being smart. 2 stars because at least they got the job done relatively quick

I've always trusted and enjoyed United Tire in Rosemont. My neighbor recommended them, and have been going there for four years. With an older vehicle that's often in need of repair or maintenance, they've always been honest and fair. Like any mechanic, listen to their advice, assess the needs you have, and make a best decision with the given information.

After giving this place thousands of dollars of business, I go back again and am charged $140 for doing an engine diagnostic. I was then told I needed thousands of dollars more of work so I brought my vehicle elsewhere. The new mechanic told me that 1. Rosemont Tire charged me $140 for absolutely nothing and 2. He would do all of the work requested for half the price.Save your money and find a new auto shop.

If I could give them 6 stars, I would. My wife and I both take our cars there, and they are always fast, friendly, and most importantly, honest. The amount of times when they easily could have told one of us we needed a $1,000 repair, but instead they did an easy little fix for free, has been astounding given my past experiences. For as long as I live here, I'll be taking my car to them.

Dave and his guys are experienced, honest and good! Quickly diagnose the vehicle problem and get you up and running. Pricing is very fair. I definitely recommend bringing your vehicle to Rosemont Auto for all of your repair and service needs.

A brief anecdote about why, in my experience, this is a fine place to take your car...My mother in law let me use her SUV to move some furniture. When we swapped cars, I noticed that her "change oil now" light was on. I thought I'd do the nice thing and surprise her by taking car of her oil change. After all, she's letting me marry her daughter and I think that's pretty cool of her.So just this morning I drop off her SUV on my way to work to pick it up this afternoon. They call me no more than 45 minutes later to tell me that, in fact, the SUV did not need an oil change. One had just been done, they just didn't reset the sensor.Morals of the story: these people are an honorable bunch who won't do unnecessary work. And just ask your mother in law if she actually needs an oil change.

I've been going to Rosemont Tire and Service for over 15 years. Everyone who works there is super friendly and attentive and works hard to get your vehicle done quickly but very efficiently as well. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants quality service and who doesn't want to get ripped off. They are great and very trustworthy.

TL;DR: Rosemont tire is just another garage of swindlers - do not trust them and do not spend your money here. Story below.Originally from the Poconos, I moved to Bryn Mawr last year. Broke my heart to leave my trusted mechanics behind, but such is life. Had one good experience at Rosemont Tire with a flat so I returned to them to have my inspection done last week.At the end of my stay, manager came out and explained a lengthy and dangerous sounding problem to me about my alignment, and that they even considered failing my inspection but decided against it, providing advice that this was a serious problem and I needed to get it fixed ASAP.Unsure of spending money on something that I, a 24-year-old blondie, had no idea about, I decided to take my precious Honda home to my mechanics in the Poconos to see if they agreed, so I could depend on Rosemont Tire in the future and stop having to drive 1.5 hours to have my car fixed in the 570.Today, speaking to the mechanics I've known since before I knew what cars were, they tell me that after FIVE people looked at my car, absolutely NOTHING is wrong with it. My alignment is fine, my tires are fine, my bushings aren't "stripping" like the manager told me they were.Extremely disappointed that a business would try and take advantage of an ignorant customer just to make a few bucks. Ridiculous. I am planning on reporting them to the Business Bureau as they deserve to be. GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE YOU GET SOMETHING REPAIRED HERE.

I recently wrote an unfavorable review of United Tire in Rosemont due to the fact that in my phone conversation with them, they told me they couldn't find the remote for keyless entry into the car, which is an old Saab , so any parts are hard to come by, and I was of course upset since it was the only one I had. However, I am rewriting my review to a favorable one. They found the remote and I received a call from Dave who told me they will diagnose the issues and give me an estimate. He promptly got back to me and gave me a full list of all the repairs and what it would take to put the car "on the road." So, since I do know that these guys do good work and get good reviews, I am changing my review. Whether or not I go ahead with the extensive work, I will get them to do the work, or bring my next car to them, which won't be a Saab.

Brought my car in for a check up and wound up with four new tires. I did not think the tires were old but was told they were cracked. After spending $717 for new tires, I was asked if I wanted to get a warranty on the tires. "After all, "the man behind the counter said, "spending that kind of money should have some type of guarantee." So I was lured into spending another $128 for a warranty on the tires; however, the warranty was verbally explained and not in writing. When I tried to return the warranty I was told it was not possible to do so. I asked, how do I know what the warranty covers? I was then given the same oral litany I received the first time. I think this is an inappropriate business practice. A warranty should be given in written form so that the buyer knows exactly what is covered under the terms of agreement [not to mention monetary exchange.]
