I went for my non-profit's board meeting and Carlisle Inn was spot on. 1 the area is amazing (called "Amish country Ohio"). 2 the Inn sits in the heart of Amish country and I thought the views were fantastic. 3 Der Dutchman is literally right behind you (walk 50 feet) and you have not lived until you have had Der Dutchman banana cream pie. 4 the rooms were clean and spacious (I shared a 2 queen bed with another member and we had lots of space). 5 umm popcorn and cookies on Friday night, need I say more (warning if you are in room 201 like I was the smell of popcorn and cookies will haunt you all night). 6 the staff was very friendly. 7 it was so impressive, we will be holding more meetings here. Thank you for a great conference/ meeting area, amazing rooms and fantastic staff.

Beautiful and scenic lodgings at a decent price! All the amenities are there plus extra add on services like an in room massage and premium breakfast. They served snacks like popcorn and cookies in the evening near the breakfast and piano room. And each room has a huge personal Balcony, was too cold to hang out there but the view is nice! Staff was friendly. My only complaint was that the beds could be a little more comfortable but regardless we still got a good night's sleep. Many shops and a couple of restaurants are within a short walking distance Walkability: Close walk to shops and restaurants

Very 'old school' beautiful hotel! Comfortable, spacious, the rooms are huge! Great beds and every room has a balcony. A common area on each floor where you can gather and get snacks in the evening, a very generous breakfast spread in the morning. Located next door to Der Dutchman. A must stay if you are hanging out and shopping in Amish country and mom has worn you out.!

So happy i found this hotel online. As long as i stayed at any hotel in the US the last 4 yrs i live here, this one is my favorite one by far. Very nice room, nice furniture, gorgeous view and very nice staff. One think i wasn't too happy about is i wish they serve other warm option menu for breakfast. We stayed one night. So i don't know how they manage it on the other day. Was hoping to find any omelet or scrambled egg as the warm menu, instead just pork sausage and the gravy. We don't eat that. But other than that, i love staying there and will stay there again.Rooms: Luxurious furniture, even the rim around the door and window was awesome!Nearby activities: Nice that the hotel is close to a buffet restaurand, bakrey, craft stores. Close to Berlin where we booked a theater show with awesome show!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Amish country. Great location and the room is very spacious and nicely decorated. I like that there s a separate toilet and shower room and another sink and counter outside the bathroom so 2 people can get ready easily. I m so happy that there are good mirrors- usually being short in stature I have the lean way over a sink to put on makeup but here there are options so it s comfortable. Also good electrical plugs for phones etc. The view from the balcony is spectacular!! Complimentary coffee and snacks in the evening is a nice plus also. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great experience.

My brother Paul and I came out to Ohio for the Hall of Fame enshrinement week. We decided to stay somewhere outside of Canton to experience more of what Ohio had to offer than just the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I'm really glad we chose this hotel..in fulfillment of that desire. The staff was great..all of them. One that really stood out for us was Terry. See the letter attached. That is just special. And it was in an envelope attached to a small box of delicious chocolates. Wow. So the hotel was impeccable. And the scenery was that of the rolling hills of the Ohio Amish countryside...with rocking chairs on the balcony of our room to soak it all in. Perfect. Loved it. The only downside was having to leave. But, we will be back. Thank you Terry and everyone!

Had a great time. Noticed that the walls seem to let almost any sound through. However, we experienced no problems from noise. The view towards the farmland side is so relaxing.Rooms: Rooms make you feel at home, with real headboards and footboards.Food & drinks: Great breakfast buffet, with coffee 24/7. Snacks in the evening

Amazing hospitality - wish we could have stayed more than the single night. We will be back! All staff were so welcoming and friendly. The Christmas decorations were so beautiful, the hotel itself was a bright beacon in a hillWith gorgeous lights as we drive in at night. Warm fire in the fireplace and Der Dutchman cookies for a nighttime snack. Beds were firm, rooms were immaculately clean, the handmade quilts in the bed were charming and welcoming. Felt more like a guest house with the privacy of a hotel. Breakfast was plentiful for all tastes as well.

WOW! We had the deluxe room. It was beautiful and spacious. With a fireplace and jacuzzi in the room. Very clean: and well supplied with for all your needs. A gorgeous view from the 4th floor. Highly recommended place to stay. You can also upgrade your breakfast at the motel and eat at the Dutch Valley restaurant: for just a few dollars. Well worth it!

One of the best hotels we've stayed at! Impeccably clean & smells great. The staff is extremely friendly. Continental breakfast had a plethora of hot & cold options. Refreshing view of Amish farms on gentle rolling hills in the back. I highly recommend visiting the Der Dutchman Restaurant next door, & the shops across the street. Very much looking forward to returning someday. Thank you!

Our family meets here annually for a reunion. They accommodate our large group with ease and are always willing to go the extra mile to take care of us. Clean, spacious rooms and a lovely gathering place for us to meet and play games, do puzzles and catch up with each other.

The room was HUGE, which you don't get in hotels anymore today. It looked like it had been recently updated, which is a nice bonus! The view of the rolling hills of Holmes County from our windows was what you look for on a HC getaway. It's also right in town so you can walk to the shops and restaurants without having to drive anywhere. Wonderfully friendly staff (front desk and at breakfast). We had a corner room without a balcony, but it was freezing so I didn't miss it. I'd think staying here again though I'd want a room with a balcony.

Must stay at this wonderful hotel property in the heart of Ohio's Amish country!! Our 3 night stay last week with a large group consisted of immaculately clean & comfortable rooms featuring quilts on beds, impeccable customer service from all staff members we encountered, beautiful views of the countryside, and bountiful breakfast options included with our stay. A special thank you to Yvonne (sales manager) & Travis (front desk) who took extra special care of us. Will definitely return!

We stayed at the Walnut Creek Carlisle Inn Feb 10-12, 2023. We stayed in one of the executive rooms with a king size bed. Our room was very nice, spacious & clean. The only & biggest problem we had on this stay was the mattress in our room was absolutely terrible! When you sat down on the edge of the bed it sunk down like an older mattress & sleeping was almost impossible. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, you couldn t get comfortable in any position & could feel the bed springs each time you moved. My husband referred to it as sleeping on lumpy concrete. We both left with pain & soreness in our backs. We were truly shocked to experience this at such a great place. We normally stay at the sugar creek location & have never had any issues there. We informed the desk clerk about the problem & she was going to let the maintenance dept know. We told her about our past experiences at the sugar creek location & that their mattresses are like sleeping on a cloud. She informed us they get their mattresses from the same manufacturer as sugar creek. We always have an amazing pillow top mattress at the sugar creek location & the mattress we had here was not a pillow top & seemed extremely cheaply made. We will stay again but probably not at this location. We would have checked out immediately but there were no other rooms available nearby due to Valentine s weekend. For the cost of this upgraded room we we re extremely disappointed.

My wife and I stayed at the Carlisle Inn Walnut Creek back in June and it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The room was very clean. The view was spectacular from the balcony of the countryside. The staff was exceptional on whatever our requests were. Natalie and Yvonne at the front desk, were very helpful in answering any questions that I had. The continental breakfast was delicious as it was something hot each day of our stay. We will be staying here again upon our return to visit Amish Country.

My family booked an overnight stay at Carlisle Inn, Walnut Creek, to celebrate my birthday. The rooms & common spaces were pristine, fresh & so comfortable. Staff were genuinely kind and accommodating.Rooms: The room was attractively decorated and nicely appointed. We were glad to find a 3 piece bath plus a vanity sink in the roomy closet alcove.Nearby activities: The der Dutchman Restaurant and a nice gift shop were within walking distance.Safety: The winds were high, taking out the electricity in the community, but they had a backup generator at the inn and restaurant. .Walkability: We were able to walk to a local restaurant and giftshop.Food & drinks: Breakfast was included in the inn with plenty of choices, waffles, juices, fruit, biscuits, sausage & gravey.
