Great park! There wasn't much to do in the area, but there was PLENTY to do in the park. Pools, mini golf, petting zoo, basketball court, inflatable play areas, a catch-and-release pond, and more! Great facilities, and they even have a variety of takeout food options at their clubhouse. It's a large park and gets really full on the weekends. Check out our full review on YT ("TK n Earl")

Ok place, people r ok. They have their clicks manly you need to be permanent spot and they talk to u more. At times alot of kids running around in dark on bikes and some kids not being so good on stuff. But not to bad of a place it's big.Nearby activities: Not really besides the 2pools 1 pond at the campgroundSafety: OkFood & drinks: Sale stuff in store but it's high priced.

Had so much fun!! Met so many campers and every one of them was pleasant and friendly. The staff was all wonderful and very helpful. So many scheduled fun things to do you could partake in or just do your own thing floating in a pool or roasting a marshmallow over your campfire. Highly recommend for an Extended Stay or if you're just passing through!

Though I don't Camp at Huggy Bear Campground, I do utilize their dump station whenever I come back from out of town or state.Price is fair and competitive with others, and the staff is always friendly and polite. It's great to have a available place so close to home.

Great except people who enjoy their urban clothes probably wouldn't like it very well if your not in jeans then you may as well be completely nude it's very laid back and everyone is willing to give you an open hand when ever neededNearby activities: Bear sculpting, laying out under the starts friendly race and shotting contest who's got the best aim and can handke their gun thw beatFood & drinks: What every your mouth thirst for from soda pop to leamon aid to frothy specialty drinkNoteworthy details: Watching the bears play with each other and watching them tease one nither

Had high hopes due to the good reviews. After staying here I realized most all of the good reviews are from the permanent residents, which is 90% of the park. Electricity was on and off (make sure you have a surge protector), didn't see any staff maintaining the grounds or cleaning up anything (trash and clothing left around the pools), seemed very few people cleaned up after their pets, and the park didn't seem eager to take of anything left behind. We reserved a golf cart, and specifically chose this place because they offered it, but were told they didn't have any. Bathrooms weren't the worst, but far from nice. Whatever you do, bring cash. Most places will just add whatever you buy to your site and take care of the whole bill when checking out...not here, so you get charged extra if using a card everytime you get something from their store. Not the worst experience, but we will certainly look elsewhere to camp.

What an awesome campground! Tons of campsites, and although a lot are permanent residents, they are all clean and well-maintained. Located on a cute pond with lots of planned activities. They even have a petting zoo! While we were there, they had Bingo and a chili cookoff......So much fun! We had full hookups and a perfectly level site. We traveled in a small Class C RV.

This is a very nice campground with lots to do. Fish. Swim, beach pond and pools. Splash pad for the kids, park for kids to play. Bands on the weekend, explore on golf carts. Park is always kept nice and clean, restrooms clean, nice clean showers. Would recommend this place , very nice! Keep up the good work!

Only stayed one night, however it was very nice. If I had things to do in the area I would definitely spend time in this campground!Very nice, spacious sites. Easy in and out. Store/little restaurant on grounds. Pool, beautiful ponds, you can swim in them.. very nice..

Went there for the first time over the weekend. This place is great. Family oriented and lots to do. The food the store offers is good too. The staff was also very friendly. Would definitely recommend renting a golf cart if you do not have one. My only complaint is that the bathrooms, back in the tent camping area, needs to be maintained more. Friday night most of the stalls were out of toilet paper and Sat. Night one of the toilets were clogged and eventually overflowed at some point. Pretty Gross. There was barely any toilet paper and there were no paper towels. Also, the checkout process should be explained a little bit more. We were tent camping and when I went into the office to let them know we were checking out and the girl at the counter said we didn't even need to officially checkout since we didn't use any of the hookups. We didn't know but now know for the future. We will definitely be back.

Grew up going here. Great place for kids to play and go swimming. They have an event almost every weekend. Great place to spend a weekend.

Lots of fun things for kids to do. Petting zoo is not a petting zoo. You can look at animals but not interact with them. There were no activities as advertised the Friday and half day Saturday we were there. They usually do, I guess, but there was a family situation causing the person in charge to not be there. Pool is really cold. Clean place. No shade for our spot. Permanent spots are nicer.

Visited family this weekend, loved the campgrounds. It was Lincoln highway garage sales and had some at the campgrounds. The pools are really nice and campground is super clean. They had a band on Saturday night and they played until midnight. Great band. The place has s putt putt golf, 2 pools and a pond to swim in and another pond to fish in. Always a nice place to relax and enjoy family.

What a fantastic place! a group of us rented the cabins this past week. Supper friendly campers and the owners spent time just talking with us. We will definitely be back and hopefully become permanent campers there.

Nice campground. Camp store has lots of parts, and a nice selection of grocieries and made to order food. Lots of play equipment for kids, fishing and swimming (pools and a pond). Stage with entertainment on some weekends.

This is a nice and large campground with plenty of room for even the biggest motor coach to park. All staff are very friendly and not picky and rude like most of your franchise campgrounds are. They have 2 well stocked fishing/swimming ponds and 2 pools as well as a splash pad for the youngans. Pets are welcomed. The breakfast in the morning is great. Of they have golf cart rental and putt putt as well.

Would give zero if I could. This is one of many uninformed campgrounds with a breed restriction. I would not recommend attempting to stay here if you have a Pit Bull.

We were lucky enough to get a last minute reservation for the 4th of July weekend. I was nervous due to a bad review I had read before we arrived. I'm glad we came, it is an awesome place. So much to do and the place is beautiful. The fireworks show was one of the best I'd ever seen. We want to come again soon!

Very nice campground! Wish I could have a permanent site there. Down falls were the pools, splash pad, mini golf, playgrounds and anything else for kids to do was closed due to COVID ... although pools were able to be open last Tuesday. Just disappointing. But I don t want to judge too much because I don t know what all they were/weren t able to do over the last week. Hoping to get back up there this year to see what it s like with everything open. They also make you pay the 3% processing fee if you pay with card. So if you don t want to pay that, bring cash. Food and ice cream was good in the shop. We didn t really feel welcome, but I can overlook that, Im not there to make friends with the staff.

Great camp grounds. I have been going here on and off since I was a kid. Some of has not changed and some of it is brand new. Most of the people that you will meet are nice and friendly. This is a place to eat drink and be merry! In a northwest Ohio family friendly sort of way.

This RV Park is probably 80-85% permanent trailers. So they are just getting it ready for the regulars, the facilities at the main bath house, near the pool, on the women s & men s side didn t have shower heads and the toilets were gross! The main ones behind the office were very dated and smelled like they hadn t been cleaned in awhile. Unless you pay with cash they charge you extra for credit, makes you wonder why? Only nice thing was level, and utilities worked. I have to assume the real positive reviews are from employees or the long term residents. Ok for just overnight but that s it!
