I definitely recommend Desired Image!! This was my experience:I was hit in the front left side fender, when I was hit my car ran into the curve on the right side. It caused damage on my fender, my front bumper, you can not tell but my hood had to be replaced, my two front wheels needed replaced and a couple more things that are not visible. Luckily, Chris was on the seen of the accident and helped me get my car towed. I was having a difficult time getting the insurance going to get my car fixed. It took almost 3 weeks before they could even start the car. Not Desired Images fault. They were so patient and held my car for those 3 whole weeks. My car is the 50th anniversary. Parts are not easy to come by with this model. Desired Image did not let that stop them. Wheels could not get replaced. So they refurbished my front wheels and they look AMAZING! You can not even tell there was any damage at all to the wheels or the car! They kept me updated with anything that they had to do with my vehicle. Due to work, I had to pick up my car after hours. Chris stayed and waited for me to pick it up. Desired Image went the extra mile with my services. If I or anyone I know has any issues with their vehicle, Desired Image is the place I m going to and recommending.

AMAZING JOB!!! Chris & everyone of his staff I dealt with were AWSOME.......and the attached pictures speak for themselves......they did the doors, ground effects, spoiler, louvers, added the black emblems & painted where the car was vandalized.......plus he fixed & painted other random scratches I had without me even asking & didnt charge extra.....when I picked it up, I left another vehicle for a minor repair & literally 2 or 3 hours later I had a message telling me that it was done.....no one else will ever do anything bodywork related to any of my vehicles other then Chris & his staffServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I had an accident right after Thanksgiving in my 2015 Mazda CX-5. I did some research and just had a good feeling about Desired Image when I came across them during my search. I called and they reassured me that they would handle everything with the insurance company and not to worry. They kept me updated on the progress of my car and even let me know about a back order issue with my headlight.I got my car back and I swear it looks better than it did before the accident. The team at Desired Image did such an amazing job at making sure everything looked absolutely perfect on my car. My brother saw my car the following day and was throughly impressed. He used to work inspect cars for damages and he said you couldn't even tell it had been in an accident and he saw the car right after I had the accident so he saw how bad it was in person.They found a lot more stuff that needed repair than the insurance company did which I truly appreciate. Look no further for a body/collision shop in the Lake Norman area. The quality of this shop s work is amazing as well as their thoroughness is top notch. The staff puts their customers first above all else. Will be a customer for long haul.

Had my vehicle repaired here due to a deer accident. Long story short, later down the road my heat shield comes unattached from the front bumper due to missing screws that were not put back in place but instead some random wood screw that doesn't go on a car. My lower front grille and front splitter was damaged due to this poor workmanship. Also this repair was through insurance so I'm pretty sure not replacing all of the right screws and bolts is against insurance regulations. I contacted the shop about this situation and the owner Chris said he wasn't doing anything about the damanagei just because my splitter "was not on the car at the time of the repair." So just because my car was not reassembled correctly I'm responsible for the damages that was caused because of their negligence. Would not recommend this body shop if you're looking for your vehicle to be assembled correctly.Replying to the response below. I can assure you that my bumper did not have to come off to install the splitter because I did it myself. Removal of front grille and drill some holes. No bumper removal needed.

Chris and his crew are awesome!!! These guys have done some car work for me in the past that was great but now they have given my bike a custom paint job that looks incredible. Everything from their customer service to the work done is First Class!

Had a small accident and the bedside of my truck got damaged, Chris and the guys got me in and out promptly, kept me in the loop during the whole process and the body and paint turned out phenomenal! What a great experience I had with the Desired Image team. I had some work done on my truck to personalize it and it came out great. Recent had my sunroof broken into and some things stolen from inside of car. Also I was getting ready toleave on vacation. Tim, Candace, and Chris worked to get my car into the shop before I left so as to not put me out an extra week. Easy to deal with. Comfortable to talk to and ask questions. Also was a local business, which means a lot to me. Excellent experience and am very thankful to them for squeezing me in and doing an excellent job. 2016 Subaru driver's side T-boned. Crushed both doors and bent them out of the door frame at odd angles. Absolute exceptional work done by Desired Image team. Subaru returned with laser straight body lines and perfect door gaps. Beautiful matching paint. Chris and the gang did an awesome job. Very clean workshop and that's when I knew our vehicle was in good hands. They even had a guy who looked like Kenny Rogers! Mike Windsor did a great job on the body work. Thanks again and will use these guys again. (Hopefully no time soon)

The best paint and body shop of all time anywhere in the USA. I have dealt with literally hundreds of paint and body shops. Chris and his staff are extremely meticulous. He takes the time to perfectly match the paint color on aged cars instead of just using what the manufacturer recommends. Excellent quality work is worth every penny. Chris insists on only doing excellent work. Chris only hires high quality employee. Everything about Desired Image screams quality.

These guys are truly amazing. They put a new bumper on my 2007 Honda Accord. The bumper and it's paint job looked brand new. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. For anyone looking for a great customer and service experience, check out Desired Image. Chris and his team worked on my 2017 Ford F150 that required a unique custom paint repair. An object from my rear tire punctured a hole through the wheel well and dented the bed panel from the inside out, creating paint chipping and flaking that could have become a real disaster if not addressed. Upon my first visit to the shop, Chris took the time to review his thoughts with me during inspecting my truck and explained the various options to properly correct while providing the best look, quality, and permanent fix. A final estimate was promptly emailed, clearly detailing the recommendation to fix, and the details around all of the work to be completed. No surprises or hidden fees. I truly couldn't be happier with the final results, as well as the genuine honesty and pride the shop clearly displays through it's team members and it's work. Definitely reach out to Desired Image for any work you may need or might be thinking about having done.

I was forced off the rode by a van and hit a guard rail. Van kept going ofcourse. I was frantically trying to find a body shop that would get me in asap because I was just visiting NC and we were heading back home to OH in just a week! I was told by 3 other shops they would not even look at it for a quote because they were booked 3 months out. But Tim at Desired Image said bring it in, we will see what we can do!!The BEST customer service I've ever experienced! Tim juggled the schedule to squeeze us in (he too was booked for months out) had it ready in 3 days and the work was phenomenal! The price being beyond fair was a bonus!If yr looking for a body shop, you can't go wrong with Desired Image! 5 stars in every aspect!Thank you Tim!Service: Body & Trim
