Great experience. They handled a frustrating repair without getting frustrated, and instead had the lead technician and another technician work collaboratively to make the necessary repairs. I was treated honestly, respectfully, and kindly. A++Update: Another great experience here. Good people with a lot of knowledge and expertise.

Rick and Ed are awesome. I had a brake line burst driving through Rome at 5pm on a Friday night. I got the car to them at 5:15pm and they both jumped in on the task, staying late past their 6pm closing time to ensure I was safely back on the road. They saved my weekend plans in the Adirondacks. You don't often find folks willing to help at this level. I can't recommend them enough. A++++++

The Rome, NY manager Rick and Dean and their the staff are always polite and make me feel welcome. Midas on Black River Blvd has always been my place for car care for over 25 + years. I feel lucky to have such honest people working on and servicing my vehicles.

Rick at Midas is the best! Professional and friendly and knows his stuff. My Honda is in very good hands with this crew. When I moved to the area I asked around to see what mechanic is recommended. I was surprised to keep hearing Midas, but gave it a chance. Another fantastic experience. Professional, timely, and services completed that I am simply uninterested in doing myself. The exhaust manifold was complete trash and it needed replacement. Had brakes done in December. Quick fast and super customer service. Fast forward to a few days ago I felt something was off but wasn t 100%! Thank God for Rick and his team!! Totally saved my butt again!!! My greatest talent with vehicles seems to be ruining tires... if there's an object that I can run over to lodge in the tire I am all over it!! Rick always has my back, is timely and fair priced. Have gone here numerous times and always had a great experience... until this last time. Went for my annual inspection and was failed for "bald tires." Knew my tires were fine so I took it to another shop and told them what happened. I'm pretty sure they tried to rip me off, by trying to get me to overpay for services that my vehicle probably doesn't need.I went to a different independent shop and they charged less than half of what they wanted to charge me here.
