I got my clutch replaced here. No update calls as the first clutch kit they ordered had missing parts. They had to order another. No one called me with updates , I had to call them.Now I understand having to increase the price for parts but doubling the price?! That's crazy to me! I was charged double for the clutch kit! And he wasn't honest with me when I questioned him about it. As I looked into prices of clutch kits for my cars make and model. I also looked up where he told me he got the kit from. Honesty is my best policy! Taking advantage of your customers and lying to them is not a good way to keep them. I won't be going back.Clutch kits for my car are $297.00 where Dave ordered it from.Dave charged me 600.00 for the kit he ordered!

Desk clerk had a nasty attitude. Had an inspection performed and fog lights replaced.. near $400 later and wheel liner was partially removed for light install and not properly re-installed. Rubbed on tire and ground for miles before realizing. Now i have to replace the wheel well liner. Will not be back. Do not recommend.

I don't know if my experience is typical but it did take a lot longer than I expected for things to happen and update calls. I am happy with the work but the fact that both of my driver side tires were very low and it was not noticed makes me wonder just how much care is put into the work on my car. I myself have years of experience working in a garage and I was always told if I noticed something little like that take care of it. To me this is disappointing along with the conversation direction of calls I did get.

I have taken our family cars here and my wife s family have also taken their cars here for years. They do great work and are super honest. Communication is great as to what the problem is with your vehicle, how much and how long to fix it.I just took a family friends car in that she was considering buying for a pre-purchase inspection. I can t recommend Dave Allen s Service enough.

Fabulous service and flexibility. When my Kia needed a manifold replacement while on a short-term visit, they were prompt in getting the car in, provided updates on timeline and completed the car in time for me to continue back to my overseas home. All of this was done at a reasonable cost. I am grateful to have been recommended to a local shop that delivered. Additionally, they were able to make this happen in four days, the same amount of time a Kia dealer provided just to look at the car. If ever found in a similar spot, this is where I'll go.

After outright awful experiences elsewhere, daves is the only place we take our cars now. I fully trust them with everything and know we are not getting ripped off. Quality work done right the first time. I would recommend daves to anyone.

My car was skipping when I would rev motor over 3500 rpm when in neutral.I imagined a major motor problem. Dave told me it was a rev regulator that most cars have when revved high when in neutral. Skipping will not happen when in gear and under a load. Sure enough it was as he said and major engine problem solved. I trust Dave Allen as a mechanic and highly recommend him

My family has been trusting our cars with Dave for as long as I can remember. Possibly before I was born. I feel comfortable that they are honest and ethical.

I've been going to Dave Allen for 21 years. Off and on I would try different places but always came back to Dave's. They are a fair price which you do not see anymore. I drive my cars well into the 170, 000 mile mark ...thanks to this stand up garage.

Great service. Helped us out when our car broke down between Toronto and NYC. Sourced the part we needed (on a Saturday!) and had it installed within half an hour.
