The best mechanics I ve ever worked with. Range Rovers are notoriously finicky and not too many mechanics want to work on them. Sadowski mechanics are pro s and charged me a fraction of the cost it would ve cost me at a RR dealer. Every single time. They are kind, honest and accommodating. I d never go anyplace else. They also send a thank you card with a scratch-off!

I am a newcomer to New Jersey...and consider myself so lucky to have found Tom and his team at Sadowski Auto Repair for my car repair needs. I own a 1984 Mercedes-Benz 500SEL and no repair on a car of such an age is easy but Tomasz (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) brings his experience and expertise to every repair and I have complete confidence that any problem will be resolved fairly and competently. It is hard to find reliable and trustworthy service sometimes but that is exactly what I found at Sadowski Auto Repair. Heissy is always very kind and provides excellent customer service....and I must admit I even enjoy the little holiday treats that are often found in my car when I go to pick it up once a given repair is completed. I am a long-time customer. On my way home from work recently, I noticed one of my new tires was low, so I stopped in and asked if they had time to look at it. They immediately drove it into the bay, put it up on the lift, found a screw in it, plugged the hole and finished by checking the tire pressure of the remaining tires. In 15 minutes I was on my way for a minimal charge.

The location is very convenient, the place is clean and organized! They are professional, polite, knowledgeable and the most important thing to me is that they care. They worked so hard on getting my car ready before my daughter s college graduation and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. On 6/19/2023, I arrived at Sadowski Auto Care to have my car inspected for common causes of why a car feels sluggish when accelerating (e.g., a dirty fuel filter, a bad throttle position sensor, or a problem with the oxygen sensors. Sadowski Auto Care charged me $185.38 just to have the car inspected! The Service Writer, Heissy E. informed me that said amount is separate and apart from the actual charge(s) to have the car repaired. Albeit grudgingly, I authorized Sadowski Auto Care to inspect the car because of the 4.5+ rating on Google. By way of a text, I received text with a hyperlink to a report on the condition of my car, as determined by Technician Tomasz Z. The report was seemingly professional, but the devil was in the details. For Charging & Electrical, the report made two (2) recommendations. First, a battery replacement. Second, an Alternator replacement. Because the Tire Pressure Indicator on my dashboard remained on at all times, Sadowski Auto Care attributed this to the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) for which they recommended replacing sensors which include recalibrating them. All told, I was quoted an estimated $1,850.00! Initially, I approved the repair, but immediately following the approval, I called back refusing the repair(s) because Toyota in Carlstadt quoted me over the phone $700.00 for a new alternator, including labor. On inspection of the actual car, Toyota told me that the car did NOT require a New! Alternator. For the TPMS sensors, Toyota charged me $110.88 to remove and replace the two (2) on the front of the car; this included recalibration. Do the math; I paid $110.88 and Sadowski Auto Care quoted me $1,850.00 or thereabouts a estimated $1,740.00 upcharge, and oh, by the way, Toyota did NOT charge me to inspect my car. These are the objective facts. Despite the outward appearance of a seemingly professional operation, the devil is in the details. For the myriad of reasons, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business. Being a devout Catholic, who attends Queen of Peace in North Arlington, I take no pleasure in bad mouthing anyone, but in the final analysis, the goal here is to raise awareness for the unsuspecting consumer. The actions of Sadowski Auto Care are fraudulent at best, and it is imperative that potential customers are informed.

Sadowski is the best auto shop out there! They are trustworthy, timely, and do great work. Any problem I've had has always been fixed permanently after leaving. I've recommended them to others and everyone has also had their problems fixed so it's not just me. They are also courteous and don't talk down to you. Even though I don't live in the area anymore I will still drive or get my car towed to them because they are that worth it.

I've been dealing with Sadowski Auto Care since they moved to No. Arlington. From the minute you walk through the front door you see smiling faces from the two young ladies that normally make the appointments. The shop is immaculate. All my service needs have always been met. I feel that I have been treated very fairly and would highly recommend their shop for any of your auto needs. When your car needs repairs this is the place to go!This was my first time at Sadowski, and it won't be my last.The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. GET 2ND OPINION. The owner quoted my husband "work" that needed to be done. We took the car to another place and they told him otherwise. Paid 1/3 of what this place quoted us, and the car is working just fine. Would never go here again.

I've been going to Sadowski Auto Care for about 10 years now. I've had repairs of many kinds and they are top notch in every way. My vehicle is old now, and I am so grateful to have a shop I trust to keep an eye on everything until I am able to get something new. They prioritize my safety while also minimizing costly repairs that may not be worth it at this stage. Everyone there is friendly and accommodating, and they even leave little seasonal goodies in your car. Excellent job on numerous issues. They never beat around the bush. They inspect your entire vehicle and let you know what is needed for immediate or future repairs. We trust Tommy and his entire staff with all vehicle needs.

I'd like to start off by saying that the last few times my car or my husband's car was taken there, everything was handled beautifully.I love how, who i believe is the owner, is always so warm and welcoming.Last week, I took my car for inspection and it was probably one of the poorest experiences ever.With the exception of the owner/mgr and one of the mechanics who was also very courteous.My car has custom vertical doors and I always need to give a friendly warning to anyone that will handle my car because if it's swung open too hard, it will ding the fender. It's sadly happened to many of my friend's cars with the same doors at a car wash, valet, etc.I told the receptionist this and I received zero reassurance. I've even had one autobody in the past PRINT AND LAMINATE A SIGN to put on my doors so that in case anyone in the shop needs to access my car they'll know to be careful.�I certainly don't expect this from everyone but just an example of a business going above and beyond.Anyway, so I stuck around to talk to the inspection guy personally to let him know about my doors.I said: "hey, just wanna let you know that my doors don't open all the way so please open them slowly"He said nothing and just turned around and walked away.I (in disbelief) said : " Hello?"As he's walking way he still didn't even give me the courtesy of acknowledging me and said"I got it!"Honestly, I can get this attitude and treatment for FREE at DMV.I came to Sadowski for a stress free experience.�Unfortunately, this time they let me down.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

This is not an honest place. I was told a new AC compressor for my car would be over $900. The total job would be over $1500. I knew this was waaay too much because like most of you reading this, I research before making decisions.I was also told that the compressor they found was the only one in the state. Wow, lucky me. I asked for 15 min to make a decision. In that time, I googled prices on AC compressors to make sure, and I called Hyundai and asked for the cost of genuine parts and the cost of labor per hour. A new Hyundai compressor is $340. Labor- $150. This is on the high end of prices. Sadowski wanted to charge me almost 3 times the price for the part alone and used two sales people to try to convince me things are getting expensive oil prices, shipping, blah, blah, blah . My AC is now getting fixed at Hyundai for $600 less than Sadowski with genuine parts and it s getting done correctly.Honestly, I can add more details of my experience that would make this more embarrassing for this business, but I won t. I should add- Even knowing that they were trying to take advantage of me, I was very polite at the time. I wasn t upset and I didn t make mention of it to embarrass them. At that point, I didn t want them touching my car.They re going to respond to this review with either excuses or with a narrative that twists what actually happened. The bottom line is, I was gentleman at the time and I don t like writing this about local businesses, but this business tried to take advantage of me. There was a time when one would avoid taking the car to a dealership mechanic and now the dealership is less expensive. It s come full circle. There is no excuse for Sadowski

Mechanics are always a hairy thing in terms of trust. But I've never felt that Sadowski told me I needed work that I didn't, or was up-sold with pressure, etc. They do good work at a fair price. I'll trust them with my vehicle as long as I'm near where they operate.What I most appreciate is that when they find the issue you brought the car in for they'll call and explain what's going on and wait for your OK on the service after telling you the cost - don't expect a bill you never saw coming.

They are always friendly, know their job, good value. I have an older car and my car always feels and looks new when they finish with it. Never had a problem and I know I never will. Best Auto care in Bergen/Hudson County. They deserve a 10 Star rating.

I have almost never seen a cleaner place than here. You can literally eat your lunch on the floor of lift area. This reflects on all aspects of Tom's business. I had honest estimate and confident work done by certified mechanic. Reception ladies were kind and efficient. I came here for the first time after seeing some incredibly high ratings which I find all true. Tom is very involved: he immediately took test drive himself right after mechanic was done for his after completing repair (replaced A rod). A great place to go!

Theses guys are the best. Always willing to help and I d add there the most relentless mechanics in the area.My car had an intermittent problem where it just would not receive power. I took to THREE mechanics prior and they all either blamed it on starter, ignition or a faulty relay(all of which I payed for ). Took it to Sadowinski and they where able to track it down to some wires that had rusted failing to give the car power. I got fixed and haven t experienced that issue since!GO HERE!Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

I'll start by saying that I have found my new service shop. I went in today for vehicle inspection and an oil change. The service tech went over my car from front to back and let me know the state of things he found. Thankfully there weren't many items needing to be addressed, but he explained what issues there were and after I approved, the fixes were promptly applied at a very reasonable cost. I've seen others stating it was a slightly longer wait than they thought it would be, but there is clearly a reason for this. I feel much better about the overall safety of my vehicle after such a thorough check. Personally I don't think one hour is too long for the work I had done and some of that time was due to me asking questions (which were all answered fully in a way I could understand), so I am not complaining at all. The facility is clean and comfortable. The staff is approachable and friendly. The owner is up front and honest. The prices were on par with or better than most places I've been to. I have confidence in the work done and in the competence of the technician. What more do you want from a service center? The result of my visit was positive and I will be sure to recommend Sadowski Auto Care to friends and family.

Being a female and going to a mechanic usually makes you wonder if you were taken for a ride.... but here at Sadowski Auto Care they make you feel like you re part of their family. What a wonderful and professional staff! I ve known the owner for over 20 years and when he opened in North Arlington I was so happy. I knew I had a place to go to if I ever had car problems. It s the little things... they go the extra mile to check if everything is ok after you ve serviced your car. I highly recommend Sadowski Auto Care to all! You will not be disappointed.... I promise!

I have been a Sadowski customer for almost 30 years, and can't imagine having my car serviced anywhere else. In fact, I drive a half-hour to bring my car to them. Professional, courteous, honest, they provide excellent work. They always explain what is being done and why and discuss costs, so there are no surprises. I would highly recommend Sadowski.
