This guy is great. His staff is very polite and accommodating. They saved me a few hundred dollars compared to the dealer. Did not try to sell me extra things that did not need work like the dealer did.

I rec'd excellent care at Honest-1 Auto Care. They were very professional and honest about what I asked for and what I needed. They explained the consequences of my choice options very well. Their facility was clean and organized. They gave me a referral recommendation if the option I chose was not enough to solve my problem. I would highly recommend them to friends and family. My only concern was that the actual cost of my service was more than the quote I rec'd over the phone. That stung a little bit, but I accepted the service anyway. I would definitely use them again.

Gary, Ralph and the entire staff at Honest-1 were fantastic. I work on my own vehicles most of the time, but when time is an issue or the job is out of my wheelhouse, they re the only ones I trust with my vehicles and my family s safety. I recommend them all day, any day.

Ralph the manager was very attentive. I came in with a written itemized list of work to be completed. It included the installation of an oil catch can, diagnosis of a steering clunking noise, reconditioning of all rubber parts under the car using AT-205, checking the emergency brake on the rear left tire, and doing a scan on the vehicle to check for codes. All was completed except the scan which was performed before the car was returned to me. The scan showed no open codes of concern. Overall, the work was completed promptly and satisfactorily. I appreciate the diligence with which Ralph addressed the work order.

Because of past experiences, I am not always trusting of mechanics. I received a coupon for H1 and I can honestly say immediately earned my trust and loyalty. Where I thought there were issues, they found repairs and at times guided me away from making expensive unnecessary repairs. I ve had my car towed in overnight and before I can call them up the next morning, they ve already troubleshot and at times made repair the same day. I take all 4 of my family vehicles to them. Fair price and great service. They ve earned my loyalty!Services: Tires, Electrical, Oil change

Called with an urgent need for oil change for my mothers car. Ralph answered and assured me 8 am arrival next day and he would take care of it and it was a pleasure waiting. Coffee water snacks a kids area TV and great service.

Exceptional quality of service, rates, and promptness in completing repairs make them stand out from the rest. It's rare to find a repair shop that excels in every aspect, but Honest 1 consistently delivers excellent service. Highly recommended!

First time here. I had an oil change done on my Porsche. Excellent service at front desk and in the back. Very reasonable pricing. I will definitely consider Honest 1 for future service.

Conveniently located. I stopped in on my way to work to get a new driver side tire. Lo and behold there was a nail in the tire and it only needed a plug. Lucky Me!!!!! When the gentleman hands me the keys he shared that my driver side handle snapped in two and they had to glue it back.Wasn t expecting that!!! Now I have a broken drive side door handle.Came in for a tire left with a broken door handle!!Not happy!!

I originally went here for my brakes and didn t have a problem. Job was definitely a little overpriced but I don t mind paying more if it means a job is done well with good quality materials. I also had the flex pipe on my exhaust manifold changed and an O2 sensor replaced. All was well and I was content with the job.About 2 months after this repair, the leak in the exhaust manifold came back. I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion, and he let me know that the O2 sensor they used was likely not compatible and that it was causing trouble since it was not OEM. The flex pipe also was not sealed down, which ultimately led to the sensor breaking off and falling into either the flex pipe or converter. I ended up taking it back to Honest 1 after the other mechanic let me know this should be covered under warranty.They ultimately did take a look at my vehicle again without making me pay more, which I did appreciate, but as soon as I left the lot, something under my hood started to make a ringing noise exactly like before. The gentleman in the office let me know that this was just a broken piece of the sensor that was stuck in the pipe and it would eventually blow out. I honestly felt like this job was done pretty lazily, as shown in not just taking out the piece that was stuck in the converter and causing the rattling. I ended up taking it to my other mechanic, which only took 5 min, because Honest 1 said they wouldn t do because they would need to take apart the entire manifold. They also used another of the same brand sensor which likely caused the problem in the first place, and did not seal the flex pipe once again. My main mechanic ended up having to fix both the first and second jobs they did.I was very surprised with my experience because I ve only ever heard good things in regards to this shop, I guess I just didn t have a very good outcome. I m not looking for a discount, coupon, or sympathy, just here to share my honest opinion.

First time client and if the need arises I ll definitely be back. They were professional, reasonably priced, honest and performed the work on time. I highly recommend them for your automotive needs.

My experience was fine. However my daughters was WAY different. Your guys left a dirty finger smudge on her interior and when she called to report it and ask that it be dealt with, she got nothing but grief from Ralph. I doubt she will be back for any future service

A huge thank you to the staff at Honest-1 Auto Care in Middlesex for their quick response when I called regarding my car battery needed to be replaced. After I dropped the car off, they called to inform me of the estimate and time it would take. Once agreed, they got the job done promptly. I would recommend them to anyone needing car repairs. UPDATE: Against my better judgement gave them another shot, but another disappointing experience - Honest-1 No Longer Lives Up to the NameI used to be a loyal customer of Honest-1, but my absolute last visit left me incredibly disappointed.Unfriendly Welcome:The atmosphere at the front desk was the first red flag. The staff seemed utterly disinterested in helping. When I inquired about any current promotions, Mike, who I presume is the service manager, offered a dismissive response, directing me to their website. Is it too much to expect the service manager to be familiar with ongoing promotions?Service Concerns:This impersonal interaction raised serious concerns about the overall service quality at Honest-1. If the customer service is this lacking, what does that say about the car maintenance?Lost My Trust:This experience shattered my trust in Honest-1. They used to be my go-to auto repair shop, but with such a poor customer experience, particularly from someone seemingly in a leadership position, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend them. There are plenty of other auto repair shops that prioritize customer service, and that's where I'll be taking my business from now on.Beware Potential Customers:If you're considering Honest-1, proceed with caution. My recent experience suggests a decline in their commitment to both customer service and potentially, the quality of their repairs.

I brought my son's car there for a electrical problem I was it was dropped off at night and it was fixed within two days at a reasonable price. I would definitely consider going back there they're very nice.

First impressions are everything to a customer and especially to a subject of automotive science . Long story short, the guys at Honest-1 live up to all of the google review accolades they have earned and then some!! I was given the utmost respect, no run around and above all no dodgy repair tactics. They could have easily have said I need an O2 sensor, a evap canister + whatever else. From my perspective and zero knowledge of cars, I would have had no recourse but to oblige. But their transparency and do right by the customer attitude shined through, they provided me with what was found and said our tests look good so well reset the light. If you see it again, we ll know the potential part that should be replaced. BOOM, that s how you treat customers!!! I have 2 more cars that will be visiting them soon. They have made getting that check engine light one less stressful thing to worry about!! Thank you for everything, you have a customer for life! Pankaj from Piscataway

We took our car here after a family member recommended we get a second estimate for a very expensive repair on our car. The first place we took it quoted an amount that I felt was excessive. When we took the car to Honest Auto, they fit us in for a free estimate the next day. They quoted a price that I felt was much more reasonable ($1k less) and also found some additional maintenance work that they recommended we do. The original shop told us it would take over a week to get the part in, Honest Auto had the part and had all repairs completed in less than 24 hours. I m so happy we took our car here, it runs great now and we will be using them for all future work!
