Tires were purchased through Walmart at a supers steal. It was nice to have the convenience of walking through the store while the tires were installed which took about an hour or less. I would have given five stars but the initial tires that I ordered were not the right size so I had to reorder. When I brought my car in to put the correct tires on, the youngster at the counter insisted that I ordered the wrong size and they won't install tires. I explained to him that initially the wrong size was ordered and the new tires were there. I asked him to go look for them and basically we got into an exchange about wrong tires and blah blah blah. Fortunately the lovely woman who was the manager of the auto center was there. We went outside to check that I did have the correct tires ordered and that she had to go in the back and look for the correct tires. When I went to look back where they were checking for tires I saw that the correct tires were in the tire Bay the whole time which was sort of annoying. I probably should take off two stars for that but ultimately the situation worked out fine and I will chalk it up to a greenhorn behind the counter. So I guess I do agree with a lot of the complaints that some of the people are rude or don't know what they're talking about. I also had my oil changed the prior week which was flawless. It would be great if they did a few more basic services at the store but they do not

Needed to return a car battery dead . that the new one was delivered to my house. Great job. On time as promised, Well i took old battery back for core deposit. They were very nice but had no idea how to use the system. So i received a $20 gift card.. I haven't used it yet

Long time WM tire customer. All was well until recent couple of experiences. The quality of the service is going to the pits. My story is a long one so I won't bother but I can tell you it involved my family's safety due to a misdiagnosed tire leak. To add insult to injury, one incompetent employee insinuated that I was making up my claim of having purchased the problem tire at WM because they could not find it on their database. So initially refused to pro-rate the replacement tire. Fortunately, they still had one competent staff who understood the situation and mitigated the problem. After service was done, I made sure to drive back and prove with paperwork that the tires were all purchased there over a year ago. I have escalated this entire fiasco to WM corporate and waiting for a callback, got a reference no. I did not get any response back from the store general manager (Lumberton WM) even though I left my phone no. and stopped by several times. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED! WM tire's Lumberton branch going down the pits. Don't bother getting service here.

I go here regularly for oil changes and have purchased and installed tires for both of my cars. The staff is friendly and the work is fine. I ve never had a problem or been up sold on anything. Usually when I come here the technicians will check us in. Instead they were standing around waiting for work and waiting for the lady to come back to the desk to check us in. I do not appreciate the technicians lack of customer service.

Would not return. BAD customer service. Except for the cashier. Got the price for the oil change only to be charged more and told my car needed more oil. I checked my car oil there was till not enough oil. Its at the same level as 4 quarts. They check the wheel off of 35 all 4. My car is ar 33 33 34 & 39. Wish I had stayed and watch them. I should have known better... it is walmart.Service: Oil change

Awful service, wasted my time. Not only was rude the tech, who is supposed to be in charge of the garage, refused to do the service that wass clearly listed on the board with thier rates. Not only the tech was rude and cursing, the service manager and cashier were all rude and disrespectful.. The only reason that I would ever consider to use thier services, is due to the cost, and of little consequenceBottom line nasty attitude and bad customer service and relations.. Don't waste your precious time, energy and money here, it's better spent elsewhere and receive decent treatment...

This place is just awful. They had no record of our scheduled appointment. Place was just chaos. Didn t seem to have right tools. Ended up sending the tires back and going elsewhere.

I wish I can give them less than one star. Very lousy people, they don't care anything. I did oil change from them and they didn't put engine oil cap back.Now you can guess how big of a deal. My car engine was out of oil and car motor was destroyed. One very basic job they couldn't do it. If you take your car there good luck.!

Steffany picked up the phone and was very friendly. They finally had the battery I needed in stock, were honest about the wait time, and texted me when my car was ready. I hope they give everyone a raise and attract more staff to reduce wait time!

I had an appointment for tire installation. I went there and they said that they don't do aftermarket wheels...its policy. I asked where can I see this policy in writting because I didnt see anything online. They said that it's not written anywhere. What a joke! The tech guy was ignorant and so I just wasted my time there. I guess a tech who knows his job would work at a reputable tire shop and not walmart. I got my refund and they can keep the tires to make swings out of them. What a joke of service.

A week ago I had the worst experience at Cherry HIll Walmart Auto Center. They were unprofessional and incompetent. Today I had the best experience in Lumberton Walmart Auto Center. They were very professional, the managers (Leesa and Tammi) did a great job, they treat their customers with respect and courtesy. Mechanics were professional and competent as well. They are highly recommended.

I called around 1:30pm before I left my home and asked the lady who picked up in the Auto Care Center if it was too late to bring my car in for an oil change. She told me that she couldn't say when it will be seen because it's on a 1st come 1st serve basis and I may have to wait. I told her that I wouldn't mind waiting. She said, ok. They don't look like they're busy so I should be good. I told her I was a half an hour away and would be there soon. As soon as I arrive around 2pm, an older gentleman told me to park in the striped section. Then the lady comes out and says they're not accepting anymore service work today and to come back tomorrow morning. I told her that I just called a half hour ago and was told that it was ok to come in. If she would've said that when I called before I left, I wouldn't have driven a half hour and wasted my gas coming all this way for Nothing!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! By the way, it's 2:20pm. There are NO cars in either port and they are standing around doing nothing...they close at 4pm!!

Nobody knows what they're doing, 5 employees looking at one car while I sit waiting for someone to come and ask what I need. There was no line like all other Walmarts I've been to to wait at and "honk for service".I shouted out to one of the guys and asked if I need to go inside for service and he told me to park in the corner, I did and nobody approached me.Don't trust someone with your car if they can't even come and get your business. If you try to call and ask what's going on they answer their phones and hang up immediately.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I brought my car in around 6PM for service after getting a flat tire on the highway. This location advertises that they close at 8PM. There were no cars in the bays so this should have been an in & out. There were no team members inside to assist. I waited at the counter for about 20 minutes before calling the store to send an associate to help me. The woman on the phone was very rude and basically told me the auto technicians were completely booked for the night . Keep in mind there were absolutely no cars in the bays two hours before closing so how can they possibly be completely booked ? Won t ever bring my car back to this place as their service is the worst

Ok so I called this location this am 6/5/22, to ask about an oil change. A lady answered and said can you pls hold. Ok no problem. 14m 34s later still on hold. So I called on another line same lady picks u. And I say you hleft me on hold for 15m said said ok and how can I help you WHATTT!!! No apologies of anything. SO LISA YOARE WRONG FOR THAT. SOo I just asked for the price of the oil change. But will not be taking my car there. There's other oil change companies. CUSTOMERS SERVICES SUCKS these days.

People were nasty, i had appointment for 7am they told me to park and wait in my car for them to come get my keys. I waited for 45 minutes... no doors open at all. But then they called me and had an attitude because i didn t come inside again to give them my keys. So i walked inside to do that and the guy had a nasty attitude and asked me if i wanted to have them waiting around all day.Well maybe if you were ready at 7am for my appointment and gave me the correct direction this wouldn t have happened. Went there for a bad battery under warranty, was told it would take 30 minutes to test it but it took 1hr and 30 min. Very un happy about that but staff honored the warranty and is replacing it. So overall got what I when there for but had to wait a long time.

Had a 5pm appointment. They did not start until 602pm. The men that work there need to learn how to talk to customers. I didn't have an issue but he was very condescending to the woman before me

I went for an oil change at 6:45 am and was the third one in line. I did not get out until10: 45 am, someone called out. They need to get help when someone calls out. The two young men that was back there was good.

Waited an hour and a half last visit only to be told that they didn't have the oil filter or bulb I needed for my car. Previous visits went more smoothly although the wait is typically fairly long

Good service however be prepared to wait 2 to 3 hours or drop off your car. They are harshly understaffed but the guys they do have care and do great work. I'll go back anytime

If I could give minus zero stars I would. I have had issues with the auto center in the past but decided to give them another try, as they are close to my house, however NO ONE is ever there to help customers or answer the phone at this auto department. I called to make an appointment to have tires put on my daughter s car, only to get transferred over 8 times to the front desk because no one at the auto department picked up, then re-transferred back to the auto department, then disconnected because the phone rang too long. I kept calling back with the same thing happening. I kept telling the front desk that no one in auto was picking up and I wanted to schedule an appointment to get tires, they just kept transferring me and the phone just kept ringing. Finally, AFTER OVER 45 MINUTES OF THIS I asked to speak to the manager. Edwin the supposed assistant store manager told me they are shorthanded, as someone called out (typical excuse) but that they don t take appointments at auto anyway. Why couldn t the girls at the front desk that I kept getting transferred to tell me that??? They knew I was calling auto to schedule an appointment. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Also, if auto was so shorthanded (as they always are anyway) WHY didn t the store manager send someone back there to help customers and answer phones??? Do they know how to manage a store?? I think NOT. If you need tires go to Mavis down the street, they got me right in and gave me a good deal and they ANSWERED THEIR PHONE right away. You lost yet another customer Wal Mart. Absolutely Horrible!!! I will be contacting Doug Mcmillon, CEO of Wal-Mart at the corporate offices in Bentonville, AR and let them know that Lumberton, NJ Wal Mart Auto Department and this Wal-Mart in general is definitely NOT representative of the Wal Mart Brand.

I had to return a truck battery that died but was still under the 3 year total replacement policy. Paul the automotive manager courteously processed the paperwork and I walked out with the replacement battery at no charge, no issues. Walmart honored their warranty no questions.

I read previous reviews and should have listened and gone to another location. I had a brand new tire installed, the guys in the shop broke the valve stem and the tire was flat a half hour later. Im glad i got the warranty.It seems like there are two people in that shop who need to find another job.How do you send someone out with a broken valve stem?Id like an answer from management as to why the employees feel its ok to damage my belongings!
