Booked an appointment for July 10th in advance a week and 2 days before to have them look at a vehicle I purchased and provide me with an estimate for it to pass inspection. when I set up the appointment I explained to the them that the Harry Gregg Foundation who assist people with disabilities for car repairs would be assisting me with some of the costs so I wouldn't need an appointment until after the 8th of August. When I got there the owner rudely told me that he would have to reschedule cause he needed the other 2 empty bays at the time for calls he got in after I set up the appointment. I was a bit upset and yes said it would have been nice if I got a phone call to reschedule the appointmentI had taken a half day off for this I lost more overtime had added frustrations to the day feel discriminated against because places like this don't like waiting for the full balance to be paid. If I'd had been called to reschedule the full balance would be paid at the end of the job as I would have had the overtime pay for the remaining balance towards the repairs cause the Foudation is paying 1200

One of the rudest mechanics I ve ever spoken to. Absolutely take your business elsewhere! DO NOT get your car towed there in an emergency, he will threaten to call the cops to tow it away because he cannot fix it. Such a rude man who will shew you away if he does not feel like dealing with you. I just moved and had to leave my mechanic of 15 years. The reviews on google threw me, thinking that this would be a great place. Will be looking elsewhere and I suggest you do the same.

I have been going to Nelsons since I moved up here in 2006. Never had a problem with them. They do good work.

Rude and poor customer service. Went for an inspection, and was failed. (Which is ok!) IF they would tell me why they failed me.. Instead was told "it's a long list" and "we will act like you were never here" and pushed me out the door... I also was asked if the Vehicle I am having them inspect tomorrow "Is a pile of junk too".. They didn't even try to get my business, or try and get me to pay them to fix whatever was wrong with my vehicle. (You would think they would try and get money and business) I will take my money elsewhere and tell family and friends to go somewhere else.*(Update)*Took my vehicle to VIP and they said nothing is wrong with it.. Computer system was not ready due to the battery dieing last week. Clear sticker and was told to drive a few hundred miles..

I've used Nelson's for years. Bucky was always honest and decent, as is his son. I could always rely on Nelson's to be fair and honest with me, and I never worried about being taken advantage of, as I have been by mechanics in the past. You can count on Nelson's to be straight shooters.

Terrible service. Bad prices. Never called to tell me they were charging me over 10% more than what we agreed upon, asked for a new appointment to be seen and wasn't given much help and the staff was rude, strongly NOT recommended

I went there years ago and got the best advice for my car. I recently called and asked a question and they were very helpful.

Went there for a quick tire alignment with an appointment. The staff was not very talkative and said only what they needed to get paid. Anyway, I was in and out within an hour.
