These guys are awesome. In a Toyota Rav on a long road trip out west, we were stranded with a flat tire without the specialized key for the lug nut. After calling all auto shops around with no luck to help we were pointed to Yellowstone Point S. With some creativity and persistence, Will successfully got the tire off and replaced with our spare. Price to repair was very reasonable. Our road-trip continues thanks to Will!

This shop is wonderful. We had a flat tire while on vacation and their customer service was outstanding. They were able to get us on our way within an hour. While we were waiting 2 other people came in needing emergency tire repair and were all treated with the same respect and service that we received. The young gentleman that helped us remained calm and courteous throughout our visit. At a time when young people are maligned for not showing good work ethic, this young man was an exception. They were fully booked all day with other customers but still were able to help us.

So grateful for quick help when on road trip back to TN and almost broke down in park without service- grateful we made it here and they got us in and out quickly so we could get back on the road! Very kind and helpful! Thank you!!

We hit a pothole in the park and had severe tire damage. We couldn't continue our trip unless something got done. These folks helped us out when we were in need. There were some issues with communication, but the tires got ordered and were installed the next day. As some other reviewers have noted, I did have some concerns while dealing with the front desk, but they came through for us and the price was exactly as quoted and was below what it could have been. The charge for using credit was steep, but we didn't mind considering the convenience of having them right there where we needed them. I believe they dealt with us very fairly and the car runs great on the new tires. We were really grateful that they were there to help us get back on the road.

Couldn t rate the service here higher. My partner and I were in a super sticky situation after breaking down half a mile away. Calling other garages it was looking like we wouldn t get anything fixed for weeks which was really difficult for us as we live in our vehicle. The team went above and beyond, especially Angel and Raymond who sourced parts and had us fixed within the afternoon and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend! Thank you guys so much.

I had the best experience with customer service from Angel and team. I was stuck with a car leaking oil thousands of miles from home. Angel was able to squeeze me into an already full schedule and get my car fixed same day.

Amazing service! Had an unknown break issue as we were leaving Yellowstone. The whole crew was great, Raymond replaced our brake pads, deactivated the malfunctioning e-brake and had us back on the road within the hour.

Overall they did a good job putting 4 new tires on however the female running the front desk was terrible. 0 customer service skills, rude, and not able to manage the front as people sat there for 30 minutes, after their vehicle was completed, before being checked out. Would not recommend this business. Icing on the cake was the $32 surcharge to use a debit/credit card. Take your business somewhere else.

Was the first person scheduled for the day to replace tires and didn't get called to get vehicle back til after 230pm. Was charged over double of what was quoted (tbf what I was quoted was unusually lower than what I would have expected and what I paid for was more along expectations.) I felt like I had to go on a treasure hunt to find my vehicle. And still had an alarm on my vehicle to service the tire pressure gage, which would have been nice to be informed that the alarm would be reset after driving my vehicle. Talking on the phone was aggravating considering how long it took to get any answer and is probably the reason why I got an inaccurate quote. (They put me on hold to get me a quote and when they got back I had to ask for it.) Go elsewhere if you can.

Had grinding breaks on my truck, they had new break pads installed in less than a hour. Was surprised with it being west Yellowstone that the same price you would anywhere else.Family run and operated father of the family was kind and knowledgable.

Thank you! These guys were really kind when I came in with strong vibrations at speed. I was worried that it could be something major and/or expensive. They said it could be ice build up on my rims causing imbalance and they offered to check it for me. They ended up rinsing all four wheels with warm water to clear the ice and sent me on my away without taking a dime. It did the trick and my car that I was sure was on death's door is running like new. If you need tires or minor service please support this shop!

Got a flat right outside of town and they patched the tire even though they were super busy! So kind and helpful. Everyone was wonderful and did a great job!

They take walk ins, communicate and are professional. I brought a flat tire to them and they repaired it and mounted it. Very nice and frank, front desk guy named Mackey (and the garage staff) handled it and took the stress off. I would recommend YOU follow up if you re wondering if your vehicles done - they re understandably busy.

If you need anything more advanced than what you can do yourself in a driveway in 30 minutes this is not the place to go. We tried to get a rack & pinion replacement done and what should be about a 6 hour job was 2 miserable days of misordered parts, excuses, negligent followup and pointing blame in every direction. The car had been "done" for 4 hours before they bothered to follow up on my voicemail. When it was all "finished", the alignment was wrong and there were issues with the steering column and dash electronics.I am embarrassed to have paid this shop money. Our car now has the same issue again. Do not waste your time and put your vehicle at further risk by putting it in this shop.

Jake and Angel were so incredibly helpful I feel a bit at loss for words. My RV had a busted valve on the inner dually that I found while in Yellowstone. And not only was it fixed pretty quickly they were also able to replace my worn down brakes AND an oil change. Great place to get what you need done!

We had some car issues while driving in Yellowstone NP. We stopped at Point S (walk in) they took a look at it and fixed the issue temporarily so we could drive to our final destination (long job that requires more time). The service was great.

William made a good job. In the morning he checked our tire and found a small thing in it. He fixed the tire immediately. After a few hours our car gave us the signal that sth with the tire is still inappropriate. Will checked the tire one more time (now in the water bath) and fixed the tire with inserting a new ventile; the second check and the reparation wasn t charged.Thanks!

Staff was truly unpleasant, frankly I wouldn't have gone out of my way to give this place a bad review just because they didn't have my (very common) size of tire on hand, but that they spent a good chunk of time looking for it. When I suggested that if they didn't have my size I could just go somewhere else, clerk smugly remarked that they were the only tire shop in a hundred miles. Turned me all the way off of the Point S brand forever.

I unfortunately had 2 tire issues on 2 seperate trips to West Yellowstone. The guy who runs this place is honestly one of the nicest business owners you will ever come across. My first issue was on our transit van threw a tire sensor trouble code on our way into town. Stopped at the tire shop and he quickly knew the issue was over pressure in the tires. He took the time to help me out blow down the pressure and refused to take my money for his time. My second issue was 5 weeks later while on an elk hunt. I somehow ran over a screw and figured out after 7 days in the back country that I had a flat. Only having 1 day to get it repaired before flying out I headed to Point S to see if they could help me out last minute. I dropped the tire off and a few hours later they called me to come pick the tire up. They plugged it, swapped it out with the spare, and put the spare back in place. Being the only tire shop in town they literally have a monoply in the area and they're still cheaper than my hometown garage. Just an honest business that does quality work for an honest price. You can't ask for anymore than that.

This place is wonderful! About two weeks ago we went here. We were visiting Yellowstone for a month and needed an oil change after driving from Florida. The staff here did a great job! What really meant a lot to our family is how careful the staff was by wearing masks and gloves after informing them we had a high risk family member. We were blessed to find this place.

Point -S- in West Yellowstone is the "go to place" for auto repair and maintenance. They are always friendly and they go that extra mile for the clientele. They make time when there is no time to be made. This is a very busy garage so you are wise to arrive early or better yet, get an appointment. Either way, you will be taken care of by the best. The service writer, Eric Mackey is really straight forward and does not b.s. about wait times, cost, parts. This guy is one of the few remaining honest guys in the auto repair industry. Backing him up in the garage are Angel Sr. & Angel jr. - A father & son mechanic team who have proven time and again to be the best wrenchers in a hundred mile radius (or more). There are several other dudes who are without a doubt playing integral roles in making this garage a success. Anyway, my point is- POINT "S", it's where you go to get your car fixed.

Great place these Gentlemen understand customer service. Breakdowns happens even if it is a tire replacement. THANK YOU POINT S for going that extra mile 2022 Honda Accord sport. I will contact to you to see if l can help paying it FORWARD

My experience with Yellow Point S could not have been better. As every traveler fears, I started having some car problems 2000 miles away from home and half way through a huge road trip. It turned out that my rotors had warped and the brakes also needed replacing. Considering the circumstances, I was completely at the mercy of YPS. Not only did they fix my car quickly and completely, they did so at a price I would have been glad to have paid back home. While I hope not to have car trouble again in the Yellowstone area ever again, I know where I would point travelers too if they needed help. Thanks for saving my trip Yellow Point S!

If it were possible to give more than 5 stars we would. Our cars brakes went out in Yellowstone they were the only place that fit us in even though they were busy. They were extremely helpful and gave us a good price. Mackey was super awesome! Highly recommend this place. They made a frustrating situation a lot better.

As we pulled into West Yellowstone our low tire warning came on. We drove to The Point and Mackey was amazingly helpful. They managed to get our tire fixed and we were in the park within an hour of pulling into town. Everyone was very nice and we are so appreciative of their help!

unfortunately for me these gentleman were very busy when my brake rotor went kaput, I could not wait till the next morning to fix so I went to repair it myself.when I found I did not have the breaker bar to remove 2 tight nuts i called them and they lent me the tool to finish my repair, i think that goes above and beyond. as a business owner myself, that says alot about helping people even when you don't make a dime.

Got my vehicle in and serviced quickly. Very friendly staff. A bit more expensive than an oil change back home, but so is everything in West Yellowstone.
