Took Ford Fusion with dead electric power steering in. Prepaired to spend $3,600+ to replace unit, a common complaint with this type car. Virgil's found rodent chewed wires and repaired for under $500. Great to have honest people you can trust to work on your car.

I ve been going there Since the original Virgil s Garage in downtown Lee s Summit. . Always good services and prices. Always check with them first when getting any repairs done to your vehicles.

If you live in Lee's Summit then you need to know that Virgils is the very best place to take your vehicle. Blake is a breath of fresh air. He is honest and fair and is not looking to take advantage of people.

My family and I have been coming to virgil's for years, and every time I'm treated with respect and honesty! Blake has worked on a lot of different things for our family and everytime its done correctly and they always notify me if they see anything else that's wrong or wore out. We've been going to Virgil's for a couple of years now. These are proficient mechanics who really know their stuff. Just from my (horrible) descriptions of problems, they are often able to give me an idea what might be happening. They check and re-check everything to make sure they have the correct problem, then call with a fair price. The price they quote is the price I've paid, every time. I've never had to come back for the same problem, either.Very happy with this shop, and I'll continue using it for many years to come.Edit: 2023 - still happy

He admitted AFTER to not knowing how to work on my subaru, then when changing the clutch reinstallation was wrong, has improper mix burned a hole in the piston of my 6500k engine.. then after I DIDNT sue him, he refused to make good and work on other cars..subaru motor bad, hick customer service, priced accordingly with quality of work.

Blake and his team are great. I've been using them for a while now because of their reliability, customer service, and accurate quotes. They saved me $700 off what my dealership wanted for a timing belt service and new brakes. My family will be using them from now on!

I can see myself coming to Virgil's for years to come. Staff was pleasant and they they were honest and didn't charge me for services I didn't need. Even better they gave my vehicle a once over like I asked and only charged me the $12 for the vin/od document I needed. I live nearby and would rather give my business to a shop like this than anywhere else.Edit: 10/10/2022 - 1 starReally intended for this to be my first stop shop, but they don't help with customer supplied parts, even simple breakpads/rotors. Will update this review with an alternative location for customers to go to when running into my situation.Edited 10/12/2022FYI, go to the Auto Clinic if you have the parts, they will charge a $75 fee + labor, if they don't fit and need to put things back. As long as you get the correct parts, your good and just pay labor.

Blake and his team are genuine experts and extremely honest! They were very helpful and took the time to explain things to me whereas most shops would not. Places like this are increasingly hard to find and I recommend them highly.

Virgil's is a great shop that is run by honest people who really know their stuff. Great customer service and quality of work as well. I had to take in my Subaru when I replaced the motor due to being sent the wrong motor and needing some additional diagnosis/conversion work (JDM EJ25 motor.) Blake was incredibly helpful and was more than willing to let the car stay there for a couple weeks while the motor was sorted out. Absolutely top notch work, and customer service.

My wife and her family have been using Virgils for years and have had nothing but good things to say. After my car was diagnosed at the dealership, I asked Blake and his team to take a look and give me a second opinion. They confirmed the issue and we re able to help answer all the questions I had. Definitely will be back!

I feel that Virgil's has always been honest with us!! We have had quite a bit of work done at their garage and they have always been great to work with and they don't talk down to you!! We love Virgil's and would recommend them to anyone!!!

My go to when in Lees Summit. Always fair, honest and communicative with you about your vehicle. Highly recommend and will continue to return. First learned about Virgils from my wife's parents and now we are continuing the trend of taking our vehicle to Virgils first when needed.

Garage used to be really good but have gotten lazy recently. I brought my car in after find a rodent in the engine and the transmission not working. Left it there for a few days. They told me there was no way a rodent could have gotten in there. They didnt even look. Mechanic at the dealership found chewed wires after 5 mins.Had they put even minimal effort in, they could have fixed it in few days. But they couldnt be bothered to even look.

The crew did a great job and the estimate quoted for my new water pump came in a little less. They even gave me a new serpentine belt and filled my fluid. Give these guys a chance and you will never go anywhere else.

I have a hard time trusting any auto mechanic. I've been going here for about 5 years. No, they aren't perfect (who is?), but they are pretty damn good. Their prices are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
