I ve been dealing with CJ and his team of technicians for about 10 years. I have had everything from a complete motor exchange to an auto inspection. Always a good experience. No heavy upselling pressure, just the truth. Yesterday I completely lost brakes while an hour away. Called CJ, he advised me to drop it off as he usually does, and boom less than 24 hours later I m back on the road. Herrington s also has a comfortable waiting area and a nice bathroom.

affordable price but still couldn t get myself to go there. horrible communication skills/ customer service. guy i spoke to was so rude unnecessarily. had to pay $25 extra for my alignment and opt to firestone for a much more better customer service.

I was initially referred to Herrington s by a friend, and could not be more thankful. They are without a doubt the best shop in the region. I ve been to countless dealers/auto shops that don t meet a fraction of the quality of work that CJ and his team provide. In addition to that, they have never given me anything but a great price and honest advice/information. Not once have they tried to upsell me or work on anything without running it by me first. I ll never be going anywhere else. I truly cannot recommend them enough!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair, Vehicle maintenance

This is the BEST auto repair place in the KC area. They have affordable prices, they never try to swindle me or upsell me, and they've repaired several things on my car for free. We've gone to them for several years, and I wish we would have discovered them sooner. One time, they called to tell us they overcharged us by $10, and to "Pop in anytime and we'll refund you." And they did!

I bought my car from Herrington auto last February, with a warranty (thank god). Sure enough within 8 months my transmission went out... Im sure they knew it was bad when selling it and took advantage but thats a different story/problem.when my transmission went out (car maintenance was done on time), I called Herrington auto repair services and explained the situation. The employee I spoke with told me he would be able to look at my car within two days if i dropped it off that night. With that information, I took my car there and dropped it off. Obviously I know this is not an easy problem to fix, but I EXPECTED decent communication which never happened until I involved another party.As a matter of fact...I DROPPED MY CAR OFF DEC 6, 2022 and they STILL on dec 19, have yet to diagnose it!!!! That is unacceptable and unprofessional. The only time I got any information (which was barely informative), was when I took the initiative to call and kept asking questions. Never once did they try to contact me!Amazingly enough, they didn't even make contact with the warranty company which covers a car rental too.My car has been just sitting there for weeks...I called another mechanic and immediately made arrangements to have my car picked up and taken to the new shop.Oh and the kicker is when my mom went up there to have them release the car they guy told her he wasn't gonna be able to look at it until next week!! and when I say look at it I mean the mechanic finding the point of failure for the warranty company.buyer beware of getting cars with Herrington Auto and if you have other options on mechanics, I highly suggest you avoid this place all together.I WILL also be reporting this to the BBB.If they were weeks out on work they should have said that in the first place!!!!! But instead of being an honest mechanic he lied... and lied continuously. What a terrible experience and I will tell everyone I know not to go there and how they treated me.Oh and I have no reason to lie, the calls were recored!!

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER! I would have 0 stars if I had the option. The main guy there is one of the rudest people I ve ever met. Told me they couldn t touch my vehicle for 2 months but expected me to leave it there until they could get to it. Take your money somewhere else if you actually want your vehicle fixed.

They re hands down the best! They fixed my issues fast. Reasonable pricing and amazing service. They didn t try to sell me anything. I just LOVE them. Randy I think is his name at the front desk is so sweet.

Just purchased my fourth car/truck with Herrington. From the first sale, they have gone out of their way to help me get into the right vehicle at a fair price. I no longer live nearby, but have made the trip to work with them and I m sure I will be back again some day. Highly recommend that you look here first!

Exceptional service as always! Nice people, and great technicians. Herrington Automotive Repair is one of the best in the business, and arguably the best repair shop in Lee's Summit. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else! Check them out, they do it all, and do great job!

CJ was excellent! Everytime, he made sure that he understood what I wanted done and took care of it. Got an inspection for the car I just bought... And a jump for the car as the battery got drained from the test drive the previous day leaving the dome light on overnight. Once I drove it for twenty or thirty minutes it was fine.

Great shop if you live in LS! They are fair with the estimate, if you say you need it back by a certain time they do everything they can to make that happen. Very friendly staff there and they have coffee and a waiting room with cable TV. Great guys. Won't go any place else now!

I've been a customer of Herrington's for at least 20 years. That says alot because I'm a widowed female & I've been Trusting Herringtons for a long time!There's a nice waiting room as well as Herringtons has always been great about providing a ride home, picking me up, etc.I can't recall that I've ever had a complaint or problem with Herringtons Automotive.I've recommended Harrington's to alot of friends & acquaintances.

I've been going there for years. Always satisfied till this last time when I got my brakes done. My car makes a weird noise now. Everyone can hear it riding in it. I took it back and they can't find the noise but it's loud and I still hear it.

Talk about the most unprofessional management. CJ the manager stinks at customer service. He is not friendly or helpful. Due to Covid-19 I have not been able to renew my tags. DMV just extended the online renewal process. I called because my inspection from Herrington's was not working. Apparently since they moved they have a new station number. He would not help and would not connect me to the owner Pat Harrington. I could call back and see if he was in. He wanted me to pay for a new inspection. I ended up calling the Highway patrol and spoke to an amazing Inspector who said he just needed to give me a duplicate that I don't have to pay for a new one. She said she was going to call and tell him what needs to be done. He could have just been helpful. We have used this place before and they were fine but this is not like them. Unhelpful.

Not only does my mom take her vehicle here, I trust them when I'm up here visiting from Springfield. As an ASE Master Tech, and manager of an auto repair facility in Springfield, I'm VERY picky on who I'll trust with mine or my wife's vehicle. I worked for them over 15 years ago, and thought they were awesome then, and that feeling has never faded or not has my trust ever been broken. If you're looking for THE RIGHT PLACE, this is it.

How do I thank wonderful caring people, excellent customer service and above all the repair on our vehicle! This company goes above and beyond providing repairs. My Marine son was stranded in Lee Summit. He was picking a vehicle to go Texas. The vehicle started but did not move. We called several garages the repair would take two days. The mechanic at Herrington was called. They towed the vehicle, worked on it until late in the night so they knew what the problem was. Ordered the part and fixed it the next day. They are fast and know exactly what to do. Herrington let him borrow a car to get to the hotel. The mechanic fine turned the vehicle did an oil change and he was on the road. The mechanic called to make sure everything was running along the way. Thank you for opening your door and putting your arms around my son.Of all the special ways that gratitude can be expressed, the simple phase God bless you is the best.

i bought a car from this dealer recently. biggest freaking hoax ever. it appeared like a great car but once i had ran it a few times it burned all oil out...which was fixed by them and was not done correctly. they put a rod cap on backwards and swore that you cannot do that but yes you can. once i got that fixed from another dealer at out of pocket costs, then drove it another 100 miles and come to find out that they also put SEVERAL camshaft caps on backwards too which caused my exhaust cam to snap in half. i will never reccommend these people to anyone. the people up top are great people but the mechanics SUCK @SS!!! ive been a certified mechanic for a little over 6 years now and never saw such poor quality of work in my life. ive only got to drive this car 13 times in a matter of 4 months!!! personally i fully believe that they buy wrecked/junk cars and rig them up until your warranty is done. Once warranty is done they do not want anything to do with you. they got their moneys worth out of me but will never ever have someone to go to them. i have a 8 yr old nephew that knows more then these numb nuts!!!!

They are great to me and take good care of my car. They are reasonable and know what they are doing. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Time spent here is reasonable and so is the bill.

ok people..I don't normally write these, but feel compelled to this time..I recently had a front wheel bearing replaced by these guys, and they screwed me BIG TIME! TJ called and quoted me $594 for replacement.. WOW that seem high but go ahead, I trust you guys...blah..Anyways, I called the dealer after the Harrington fix, just because I was curious what they would have charged and to my surprise it was $150 cheaper at the DEALER??? WTH??Should have called them first. Harrington charged me $315 for a $150 part? They did cut the price down to $550, parts and labor, to make me fee like I was getting some kind of discount..pretty tricky and dishonest!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Herrington's does A+ quality work and they are honest good people that won't rip you off. I've taken my 2009 Camry to them twice for a second opinion after the dealership (Adam's Toyota) told me my car needed a new water/timing belt after a routine checkup at about 60,000 miles. The water pump/timing belt was fine it just need a new oil pan. Also my transmission was acting up after I had the fluid replaced at the dealership (never should have went there and will never go back). I took it to Herrington's and it ended up needing a new axel (was leaking transmission fluid, coincidence?). Runs better than ever now. Herrington's is the only place I will take any of my cars in the future. I trust them 100% with my car! I

Smitty the mechanic who helped me. Not only let me know the things that needed to be fixed but also prioritized them for me. He explained everything to me with patience and understanding. I will go here every time I need a great mechanic.

Harrington provides great service, at a fair price, explains what and why work needs done in layperson terms, and is willing to work with you to get a fair deal.
