Let me start by showing a picture of a 2 year old oil plug and plastic one time gasket that I installed in the vehicle in 2021. I was away for all the time till January 2024. The whole time and whole 41+ thousand miles car was brought there for oil changes every 4000 miles and any other work that was needed was done. Well so I and my wife though!Now I can service my wife s car myself and look at that! Same flipping plug is in!!!! Its a no reuse plug, set aside that metal drain plug was over torqued! Its was over 40ftlb on that tiny plug! It suppose to be 8-12 So to add insult to the injury, the owner said that its how they do business, well guess what, that little one time use plastic gasket that you reused for 10+ oil changes and could have ruined a $8000 engine is a problem of my wife that is a delivery nurse and knows nothing about about vehicles!We trusted you, but your conversation in the office today and this discovery make your shop a permanent ban place to go to and even if offered to go for free I would not! Those people dont care, stay away from this salvage junkyard with Vetali as its head!

Dave is awesome. His team of experienced mechanics have been taking care of my vehicles and my IID (Ignition Interlock Device) for years now. Dave has taken the time to accommodate my slight tardiness when he could, and straight forward with me if he can t. On task individual working for a honest company employing several local people. This shop will actually call you and inform you of updates and/or if something can t work out as discussed.

Let me start by saying I have been coming to Auto Star since 2012. It is either for a simple advice seeking when it comes to anything vehicle related, or straight up buying a vehicle from them. We had oil changes, dent repair, wheel area repair (when we slid into a curb, it was damaged internally). Also we bought two SUVs from them. One in 2012 and one just yesterday.Everytime we come to this place, it feels very easy and comfy. No pressure, and easy to understand the staff. Owner Vitaly goes out of his way to make sure we are happy with every kind of service we get there (as simple as an oil changes we get, or a purchase of the vehicle).The whole team is friendly. And it is family owned.Always, always will bring any vehicle issues to them. We know for sure we will be taken care of.

This is a junkyard, not a dealership. All their salvage vehicles are fixed as cheaply as possible, and WILL rust as soon as their "warranty" expires!I bought 2022 Subary Outback in January 2024 drove it less than 1000 miles and it was always washed and parked in the heated garage! Yet, now I can see that they hid and didnt disclose major repair! They cut whole rear of the car off!Stay away from this place and Vetaliy!

About 7months ago I bought a car through Auto star and it was nothing short of the best experience ever.Me and my husband s second car broke down (again)so we where just going to junk it but we thought back to Autostar where we got our previous car at.We where curious if the owner wanted it and he said that we could do a trade in deal! (I m sure that not just any car is available for trade in we where lucky!) we where just poking around seeing what we could get for with the trade in dealBut before we knew it we where sucked into buying another car! The owner is so friendly and accommodating it s like buying a car from a friend. This guy has a fantastic eye for cars and getting you the best deal he can!

This dealership sold us a white Chevy Colorado last week. The vehicle was from Texas, so you would think it would be rust free... right? Well, they didn't mention that it was obviously underwater and should have had a flood title, but it turns out they got a "bonded title" and how ever they did this, it was blatantly to get around the fact that the vehicle was in a flood and was underwater. What happened to honesty and integrity? Here are actual photos of the vehicle's frame from underneath upon inspection after purchase. I'm not being sarcastic or exaggerating about any of this, despite that this story seems embellished on.......The photos are proof, and now I'm stuck with a truck that is so rotten it cannot even be driven. We literally had NO brakes on the drive home because the frame was so bent it snapped the brake line off and we now have no brakes at all. Who ever owns this dealership should be ashamed of himself or herself, and cease doing business like this because someone is going to get hurt, or even die as a result of their actions. The frame of the vehicle was held together with napkins, packing paper, Texas license plates with self tapping fasteners (yes, you're reading this right!), Bondo!!....and then undercoated to hide the rotten frame underneath. Who ever made the decision to hide the rotted frame on this truck without properly fixing it prior to selling it should never be banned from the car business and never have access to making decisions regarding anything automotive ever again. No wonder why this business still has the stigma it does!!! Thanks guys! Real professional;)

bought 2015 outback with good price within my budget .great condition car . It has been almost a month now since i got it . The owner is very courteous and righteous .When i was checking the car battery with my multimeter(small one) he got his own and checked it under load ;it read 12.1 amps .although he could have sold it with the same battery .he got them replaced with new one .they provide 3 free service (oil change) with the sale

Vitaly is awesome guy. I just stop by for Nissan Rogue. Customer service was awesome. Vitaly spent with me almost hour. he gave me all details for car where is damage and how they fixed. Also give deep details for warranty and financing. This is one of dealership who give six month warranty in salvaged car. I liked it their honesty.

Auto Star is one of the last few remaining honorably run auto sales businesses that you can go to. My wife and I purchased a salvage title Mazda CX-9 and is has been our favorite vehicle that we've owned yet. They showed before photos of the vehicle after the accident, explained what had happened and were helpful with all of our questions and concerns in buying a salvage vehicle. They rebuilt the vehicle to be indiscernible from any other vehicle that had not been in an accident. The other past positive Google reviews were accurate in leading us to a great place to buy a used vehicle by a shop with integrity. Thank you, Vitally and Dave!

The Autostar personnel are very knowledgeable and sincere with honesty as their trademark. My experience was a pleasure, finding a quality automobile with a great price and convenient financing. This was the best car buying experience that I have had!My fiance and I were looking hard and fast for a new car since the engine on my (former) car blew. Adam was incredibly helpful and willing to work with me to address concerns that I had, and to ensure I felt confident with my new purchase. Adam was very timely in his responses and flexible throughout it all.Adam was very friendly and personable. The office space was tidy and the vehicles looked very well cared for.There are also many benefits purchasing through Auto Star Inc., all through their own full-service shop. The fact that my (used) vehicle came with a limited warranty is super reassuring and they even offered to show me old parts that they replaced in the vehicle.My fiance is already considering purchasing a vehicle through Auto Star Inc., as we were very pleased with our buying experience. Highly recommend!

I've been going here for years and the work is top notch. I have bought 2 cars from them as well and have had no problems. Dave is the guy to talk to! Get all my work done there, even the small stuff like oil changes. I guess you can tell I'm happy!

Purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer from Auto Star and worked with Vitaly (who is amazing by the way) he stayed open late for us on one of the nicest Fridays and let us test drive vehicles even after hours. He went over all the paperwork with us and opened on Saturday so we could come pick it up. Vitaly was very honest and has great customer service. He did not try to hassle us or screw us out of any money. His prices are very competitive and I am obsessed with my new car. We drove about an hour one way to work with Auto Star and would do it again. 10/10 for Auto Star and Vitaly.

I purchased an Acura MDX recently from them and it was definitely one of the best car buying experiences I've had. They were honest and helpful. Not pushy or slimy at all, which I really appreciated. I had to go back because of a battery issue, but they were awesome about getting it fixed under the warranty. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle that wants a good experience without being hassled/taken advantage of!

Did a price & parts comparison with this shop and our regular mechanic for replacement of a ball joint on our pick-up truck. The price here was better, but turned out the parts they listed were non-existent (lifted as new, but more likely salvaged), and they tried to charge us for a service that they didn't even possess the equipment to perform. Needless to say, we stuck with our regular mechanic. This was in 2016, so hopefully they've gotten their act together.

Bought a used (8 years old) car that looked Ok during the quick inspection. The price was not low at all, just normal market amount. After a few months later the pleasant 'new car smell' disappeared and the interior started to smell like urine. I guess they applied something to hide it so they could sell the car. Then I noticed the constant oil leak - paddle on my garage floor and the need to top off the oil every month. Later I found out that both turbos where damaged and could have failed any moment, the repair cost would be almost the same as the entire car value. I don't even mention such trivia as misshaped wheels that caused constant shaking while driving and the need to pump air every day. Air conditioner stopped working after a few months. Eventually I had to get rid of it and get a normal car - the trade in value was just enough to cover recycling costs.

I've purchased this dealer a car couple of weeks ago. The car was advised as smooth runner. I verbally asked the dealer if there is any known problems. His answer was "no" and in fact he said " the vehicle was completely inspected and runs great, no engine problems nor is there any issue that we know of". I took his word, knowing that I was purchasing the vehicle as it is.Two days after I bought the car, I spotted oil leak from the engine and coolant leak as well. I took to the mechanic, and the estimate work it required was $1400. I feel like I was completely ripped-off by unprofessional used car dealer. I am writing this review to make my unpleasant experience with this dealer a teachable moment for future buyers from this deceptive, thief dealer. Please BEWARE of this dealership, unless you don't mind draining your money in a toilet, which one has every right to do.

I have been a customer for many years and never once was I disappointed. David Sepp has always looked out for my best interests. I have never been asked to buy a repair I didn't need and he has found ways to make repairs like the last one saving me $1300 (they were able to fix a transmission sensor in my MB without having to drop the transmission to do so). As a matter of fact, I would never let anyone else touch my Mercedes. He has also serviced our Jeep and we have have nursed an old work vehicle (2002 Dodge Grand Caravan) currently to 213,000 miles. Thanks Dave!

I have been servicing my cars at Auto Star for last 10 year and won't go anywhere else. The team does a very honest quality job from basic oil changes to complex jobs. The owner Vitaly is the nicest person you will meet - straight shooter and will go out of his way to satisfy every customer.

it was a cool experience. we are limited in funds. and Vitaly showed the best option for our money. helped to choose and organize insurance. it is convenient and fast. I'll come for the next car.
