I purchased from Bookwalter Chevrolet on 2-23-24.I purchased a 2020 Malibu, and really couldn't be happier with the experience/outcome!I dealt with Joseph Garcia, and he was amazing! Helped me get everything I wanted, and didn't push anything I didn't want. They were able to get me a better rate, and payment than my own bank.Truly a seamless experience, we were in and out in just a few hours. I highly recommend, and will likely be back when the time comes. This is a great place, with great people. Go to Bookwalter, and they'll treat you like family!

Purchased 2006 Pontiac Vibe in early February when my other car was rear-ended. Vehicle was in very good shape for its price; Joseph and Andrew were both very helpful in providing further information about vehicle with requested pictures, CarFax, and mechanical information above (and beyond) the usual vehicle advertisement documentation. Very happy with purchase and their followup. Thanks guys!! A high "thumbs up" for them and their honest service.

Visited the dealership due to a recall. Service was done promptly and within or less than promised time. Service writer was friendly and efficient. I should mention I have approximately 30 yrs experience with car dealerships. From my experience I would recommend them for any of your vehicles needs.

Bookwalter Chevrolet allowed me to enjoy one of the best vehicle purchasing experiences in my lifetime. It was so good on so many levels, I honestly do not know where to start or where to end. The dealership had a car that matched my desired Specs. After initial contact regarding the vehicle as well as my trade-in, the General Manager and Sales Rep Joseph Garcia, worked diligently to get me what I wanted for my trade-in and to let me know they would hold the vehicle I was interested in. After the deal was agreed upon, I had a long list of wishes about my purchasing experience given my decades of purchasing vehicles. This is where my Sales Rep Joesph Garcia shined, perhaps like no other Sales Rep I have worked with. Joseph listened to my many requests and desires. Joseph then acted upon each request and desire making the experience unbelievably fulfilling. The other great thing is that we were able to do the paperwork at Joseph Garcia's desk No walking to one or two other people to get the deal finalized. Bookwalter Chevrolet was a joy to work with and the standouts were the General Manager and Joseph Garcia. Thank you Bookwalter Team for making purchasing a vehicle a wonderful experience. I would do business with Bookwalter Chevrolet again and highly recommend them as a dealer of choice.

I had been looking for a new vehicle for a while and had done a ton of research. I found the car I wanted and contacted Bookwalter Chevrolet to see when the car would be delivered to the dealership as it was in transit. Joseph Garcia took my request and said they had a 2023 that I could test drive that was the same car but a different color to see how I liked it. I test drove the 2023 that same day and loved it. I ended up purchasing the 2023 and not waiting for the 2024. The 2023 only had 3,000 miles on it and had the inspections done to certify it. Joseph did the paperwork that evening and I picked it up the next day. I could not be happier. Joseph made the entire process easy. He let the car do the talking rather than trying to push the sale. This is the second vehicle our family has purchased from Bookwalter is just over a year and we have been very happy with both transactions.

I have been here in the past and they have done really good with me. But today I went over there because I'm on disability and it's the first of the month and I needed a tire put on but because they put the tire on that I had bought on Saturday and it wouldn't hold air so they had to put the original tire back on and they charged me for not only putting the new tire on, but they also charged me to put the old tire back on. He then said it's not my fault that the tire is bad as in the person at the cash register. Now I understand the other pay their mechanics, but the comment was very rude to me and it pissed me off I'll be completely honest. I will not go back there again because of the attitude that I was given. And to top it off at first the guy jacked up the wrong side of the car and started taking the tire off when I ran out there and said wrong side and he said and I quote "ok, didn't know." Again a mistake which is understandable but the attitude I received from I'm guessing a manager because he was a bigger guy behind the counter and it wasn't the receptionist that takes the money. So I don't appreciate the attitude I was given on that aspect. So after this experience I will not be going back there again because I don't deserve to be treated that way.

They sold me a car and the engine had a recall they never told me about so i had to replace that as well and also falsely sold me tire protection when i tried to use it i was told a dead dear in the road is NOT a Hazzard my wife and her family have been shopping here for years after this we will never be coming back here and won't be recommending them to anyone else either

Joe Garcia was an exceptional Sales man. Very polite. Engaging but not pushy. We bought the car and he bought a house that day. Hope he has many more good days. Scott in financing was great too. There were no "hidden" fees or unexplained add-ons. Just a straight sale. We drove across state for the car. Glad to have met them both. Can't say we'll be back, due to distance... but highly recommend others to go see Joe if you need to buy a car.

A little slow on scheduling an oil change. Seems like it takes forever. But it has really good customer service. The employees always have a smile. It's understandable though on the oil change especially during a pandemic. So nothing negative except hope you guys get the extra help soon

Very disappointed shouldn't even give a one starI took my 2016 Silverado to have all fluids and filters changed and I mean specific transmission differential every thing. Also wanted rotors turned with new pads on breaks.It took 2 weeks and over 1400 dollars.When I finally got truck back I took it straight to the gas station to refill it full of gas when I got there there was so much steam and smoke coming out from under the hood and truck the gas attendant came running out with fire exstigusher could barely see the truck not only were radiator hoses not tighten the motor compartment was completely covered in fluids.Took the truck back and had to wait an additional at least 2 hours for truck to be cleaned.Now mind you it's been 2 years truck is barely driven. In the 2 years just hit 10,000 miles the transmission fluid and filter was never changed I know because 1 factory markings are still on all the bolts 2 I've been an industrial mechanic supervisor for 20 plus years I know when mechanics don't do there job.The transmission failed fluid is very burnt.Call to ask if they would help me out with the cost didn't ask for replacement just help with the cost of 4000 dollar transmission I was told no because they do not guarantee there work and because it's been almost 2 years I understand that point. Mine is less than 10,000 miles on a service that was not done and only asked for help to cover some of the cost.So I have a 2016 Silverado with just over 100,000 with a bad transmission that will cost an additional 4 to 5000 dollars.Check your vehicle and ask if service is backed before you let them touch your vehicle

I took a week old car into bookwalters with an air leak. I was told they did not hear an air leak. I took it back that same day to the dealer I bought it from and a seal in the window was not put in correctly and a whole new window seal was replaced and air noise gone. I called today about a different new car 6 monthes old to get an appointment as the engine light came on. They could look at my car in 16 days. I'm not driving a car for 16 days with engine light on. Called tinney and they got me in the next morning. I will not be calling them from now on.

My father bought a 2017 Buick Enclave here in October 2020 from John. Smooth transaction, friendly, even knocked some money off the purchase price. My dad had the Enclave in for service, John once again stepped up to the plate to make sure my Father's experience was great. John went out on the lot, pulled a used truck up for my Father to drive while the Enclave was done getting serviced. Top notch dealership

So I had a nephew that was clumsy and dented my driver side door on my 2017 Audi Q5 Prestige. I took it to a certified Audi body shop and quoted me little over 900 bucks for a small chip and ding. Blown away. Needless to say that didn t sit right with me.So I decide to get a quote from a local body shop at the Chevy dealership in Stanton. Spoke to Andrew. Told me never worked on a luxury suv but quoted me 300 bucks if paid in cash. Not saying he would do the same for every person. My disclaimer. I said ok let s do and gave him the opportunity to shine. Well he came through. A phenomenal job. No orange peel. Smooth as glass. Car was cleaned. Super nice guy. Nervous working on it he admitted and was committed to making sure it was fine right. I would most definitely recommend this guy and Bookwalter body to do work on any future damage. Great people.

This is the first Dealership service department that has really impressed me in probably 20 years or more. It is small and the write up area only holds two cars and one desk with 2 stations for parts and service, but I bet they can rival dealerships that have space for 5 or 6 with 3 writeup desks and a seperate parts area. My first and 2nd experience with them they are also friendly and personable.Both times I was there I ahd called for an appointment and I arrived 15-20 minutes early. Both times my car was taken in right away. The second time they had estimated 4 hours for the repair and they gave me a loaner car to use while repairs were being done. Repairs were done at or below estimated repair cost in both cases. I will be back to them again ... but hopefully not for a while .
