We needed trailer tires on a 1949 vintage trailer. We met Chad in a restaurant parking lot and were amazed that he not only knew the tires we needed but had them in stock! He was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional and the price was right! Putting tires on a vintage trailer can be tricky but his service staff was well qualified to take on the task and we are back on the road! Thanks Chad!Service: Tires

Outstanding service. Seems to be a very smooth running shop with lots of amazing and diverse people on staff. The services I requested during this visit - new tires, alignment, oil change, lube, inspection and wipers - I estimated my wait to be at least 3 hours from my past experience. I was out the door in about 2 hours! The bill was also significantly less than if I went to the "Big Box Store" in Grand Rapids.Excellent job! Thanks!

Had an EVAP code on my Forester first they said it was gas cap then they said it was was purge valve then they said it was the EVAP canister . After 3 wrong guesses and over a 1000 dollars in repairs I took it to dealership they figured it out instantly. No apologies no money back because they were wrong on all 3 repairs not to mention my car was gone over a month because they couldn't figure it out. Iceing on the cake was I requested oil change with full synthetic mobile 1 oil and filter what they do they put a garbage Napa oil filter and used cheap garbage Napa oil . Napa makes garbage parts and oil. The Napa wheel bearing they put on my Forester failed after 1 month the dealer had to fix that mistake go ahead and take your chances with this business. Use original manufacturer parts not auto parts garbage stores Napa if you have an EVAP code don't go here they need to send their employees back to school and relearngarbage auto zone garbage list goes on ! If you have an EVAP code don't let them look at it. They need to send their employees back to school and relearn EVAP code systems! I'm out 2 grand because of junk parts from Napa and wrong diagnostics!

These guys are great, my vehicle is not. They put up with my temper tantrums when I'm told something is wrong. I go here for everything from oil changes to the next thing my vehicle wants to nickel and dime me for. They are always able to get me in right away and are helpful. The agency I work for uses them too. They help us by fixing client's vehicles, and deal with the million times I tell them the changes that need to be made for documentation. This was meant to be a bit funny, although I'm still a bit upset with my vehicle and I can tell it'll show through. I do highly recommend them and will continue to use them for my personal vehicle, my company car and to send my clients to.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went in to get an oil change, and they were absolutely amazing. The customer service was great, very cost effective, and didn't take very long at all to do! Highly recommend them!

Being the last minute person I am, I called Merrills today in desperate need of new tires. The man who answered quoted me for good tires with a 70,000mile warranty almost $300 below a quote elsewhere. It being the day before the beginning of a holiday weekend, I thought for sure I'd be lucky to get them next week. He was able to order them and schedule for placement TODAY! Within 2.5 hours of my call to them, I was back on the road with beautiful new treads. This company has won my business for life!!! Such a blessing you all were today. Thank you! Service: Tires

I have only great things to say about this shop. I went all over cadillac trying to find someone who had the right type of oil and filter for my VW. Merrills didn't have it in stock but went out of there way to find it for me. Had a great experience here and would highly recommend them for all your servicing needs.

Merrill s is a great place for your auto needs. They are a clean service center that seems to be well organized with and this is important, nothing to hide! These people let you see what they are doing to your vehicle and if you need to look before during or after they want your mind at ease and show you. Wonderful Service! Friendly smiles and so helpful! They make sure you have a ride to get home if your vehicle needs will be awhile too. I just can t say enough about the service here! Thank You Merrill s you re a gem and I m thankful you re open when I need you!

Great service, good price. Exactly what I needed w/ out a long wait. The attendant was really good w/ the kids, giving snacks & water. Bonus beautiful bird bag & calendar for me. Merrill's is my shop from now on. Went in for new tires & alignment.

After driving from Traverse City to work in Cadillac today my tire light came on and I noticed my tire was slightly flat. When I left work it was much worse and Merrills was right down the road. I stopped in without an apt and then squeezed me in without a second thought. I truly appreciate them helping me out, they were all so kind. I would definitely return if I need work done and am in the area. Picture of the staple they found in my tire. Thankful I didn't try to drive back home to TC.

Fast reliable service at a fair price. I realized I had a flat tire when attempting to go to a meeting. I was able to make it to Merrills after refilling the tire. Chad and his team got my tire fixed in a few minutes and I made it to my meeting on time. Thank you!

I had a trip planned and found out I had a nail in my tire. I intended on getting new tires in the fall but not right away. Chad and the crew had tires in stock and got them changed in a couple hours so I could head out. Merrills went above and beyond! Highly recommend!

The guys here were awesome. We had to have a vehicle towed there after hours, they were able to diagnose the issue, which turned out to be a battery that was under warranty. Didnt charge us a dime and gave us a ride. Amazing service. Wish I lived closer so they could be my normal repair shop

Great customer service and VERY reasonable pricing. Was in a pinch with a popped tire and these guys hooked me up with a tire patch and had it fixed and put on in less than 30 minutes! Definitely recommend to anyone in the Cadillac area!Service: TiresService: Tires

BIG shout out for Lance and the team at Merrill's!I heard a noise while driving Thursday night and planned to take off for vacation on Friday afternoon. I dropped my car off Friday morning, they checked it out, confirmed that there wasn't a mechanical issue and took the time to fix what they thought the problem was.Thank you for giving me peace of mind as I left for vacation, and I haven't heard the noise again!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My brakes started grinding and I was able to get an appointment really quickly. They knew that I was waiting there for my vehicle to get done, and made sure to get me in and out as quickly as they could. Staff was very friendly. I'll be going here for all my automotive needs. Thank you!!

We're kinda new to the area and appreciated a person referring us to Merrills because they have been a God Send! Friendly staff (said he's a new owner) clean and did a Great job on our car and truck!

Was Very disappointed. Took car in to get ball bearing fixed and it made noise pulling out. Chad said it would cost me 200 but they charged me 300 . Never paid this much to have that part replaced and Called immediately and spoke with Chad about noise he said it was No big deal and it was Feb snow storms. Took car to another mechanic and in safety inspection Bearing was bad. Chad then went to this other repair shop and asked about the Crazy Lady referring to me. Ed the Other Mechanic told him the bearing was bad. Chad would not replace it. Do not go here they are Not what they use to be. I will be suing

Edit: Called me in the morning and had the service undone. Still no excuse for taking 7.5 hours to diagnose an ac leak, or to perform service without my knowledge.Horrible experience, had my ac condenser and lines fixed due to someone backing into me last year, insurance covered it. One year later (2 months of ac use) it stops. So I brought it in at my acheduled appointment time. 7 and a half hours later they figured out it was my ac valve core, replaced it without asking and now they want to bill me for it. They said the one of the managers or someone would call me so we could work it out, never did, now I'm stuck without my car for the night and a bill I did not ask for.
