This has been the best decision for us. Deciding to become a Seasonal Camper!! No more set up/tear down, no more hunting for spots, no more pulling camper/boat back and forth, bring in laundry and food 15 minutes and you are ready to enjoy!! And we have also made some great new friends!!

Just camped Flagstop with friends and family from 7/28/22 to 8/1/22--it was a great time, campground is clean and well maintained, the team at the check-in and convenience store were friendly and very helpful. One small water hook-up issue but the maintenance crew came in 5 minutes of our reporting it and had it taken care of! We will definitely be back!!!

This is the most expensive campsite we have ever been to. I had high hopes for this place because we have friends who have come here for years. While I loved having our friends close by, here were the disappointing points:1. Our kids were questioned by multiple staff members (because they were riding bicycles not golf carts) if they were currently staying at the resort.2. The pad on our site was terribly un level.3. The dumpsters were so full everyone piled their trash all around it.4. Getting visitors access was a pain and the staff was semi-rude to our guests.5. The beaches are riddled with garbage and lots of broken glass.6. Children as young as 8 or 9 driving golf carts.7. There appears to be no noise curfew or it s not enforced. People driving around with loud music and yelling at each other on their golf carts all night.8. Sent our son To the camp store to purchase a sewer hose since the issues we had with the pad not being level meant we didn t have enough (with 2 hoses already) to connect to the sewer drain. They sold us a hose with no fittings. When my husband tried to return it(never removed from the box) they wouldn t take it back. They don t sell fittings either.9. Canceled our next reservation (3 months from now) and there s a $10 fee.And here s the positive points:1. They have a great playground for kids!Way too expensive to be this disappointed. We will stick to state parks.

We rented cabin 4Nice outdoor furniture.Interior was well below average.Cleanliness well below average was actually filthy.It would be nice to have ground lights lots of 2-6 inch drop offs from the concrete patio.

We have camped here for 5+ years and this year I am honestly very disappointed. Management/Security is targeting specific people without doing the same for others. If this park is going to enforce certain rules like guests, alcohol, young adults on golf carts in needs to be enforced ALL around. My family has loved camping here for the last couple years and I am really sad to say that we are VERY disappointed. If this new owner/management is going to change rules around the park maybe try a little harder to enforce it for all individuals that come into the park.

It's always a great time when I camp at Flagstop.....thank you Scotty & the rest of the staff.. I have complaint....the 1100 am check out is a bit early.....it's kind of a rush if u want to make bfast before packing up. I kind of feel like I'm in a rush trying to leave on time!!!I would really luv a later check out like 1 pm. Thanks for a fun time.....until next time!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! New owners very friendly and attentive. Cabin & grounds well kept & clean. Great location! Loved the C-store with fountain drinks, slushees & plenty of camping/grocery goods. Morning walks by the lake! We will be back

Great place. Roomy RV sites and lots of trees. Lake is beautiful and I hear the fishing is good. Stopped here on our way to South Dakota. Definitely will stop again.

Great place to bring the kids for a weekend, or even a week. The prices are not as steep as Acorns Resorts down the road, much more affordable. Book early, they do fill up quickly over summer. Fishing is fantastic and there is no shortness when it comes to places to fish "on property." Private boat launch inside the park, and beaches to swim. Community is great and the campers are mostly regulars that are there year round. Can't go wrong.

Flagstop Resort was an awesome experience. Not only is the place beautiful but the employees are also very friendly. We stayed in cabin 6 and it was very specious for our family of 4.

No real attendants to the park, front desk are there for basic check in but don't ask them a question, because they are not going to know the answer. Got wrong information about kayak rental. Also had someone parked in the site we were given. No privacy between sites, complete lack of care for 8 year olds driving golf carts while attempting to get into the site.

Had an absolute blast this past weekend! The weather started to get a little bad and they let us rent the big cabin for the last night! Very accommodating! Will absolutely be staying more.

Flagstop is a great place to camp - everyone (the entire staff) is so helpful, the campsite is clean and maintained so well. Love it so much - Thanks Flagstop for helping us make great family memories. Always so quick to get back after leaving a message if you do not reach someone.

When we arrived at our lake house, several things jumped out at use immediately. The yard was not maintained and you must park in the front yard. Once we went it you could see a large patch of mold on the ceiling and you could smell something that we didn t know where it was coming from, we found dirty dishes in the dish washer later. We found rodent feces on our towels under the sink and around the house, the ceiling fans in several rooms were loose and made annoying noise when you where running as they are not attached to the ceiling properly. By the description you think this house is right by the lake, but in reality it is the farthest property they have to the lake, so be prepared to drive to get to a beach to swim. I would not recommend this to anyone, at least not for the price they demand for it.

There for a family reunion June 11th thru the 15th. had .cabins 11 thru 16. The pros: the staff was polite, friendly & helpful. The cabins were neat & clean with a great view of the lake & plenty of open area for the kids to play. Then cabins were furnished with enough dishes & hardware to get by. The cons: mostly small things but enough to keep me from giving it more then a 3 star rating. #1 the beds are of very poor quality & uncomfortable. #2. they only trashcan in the cabin was in the kitchen(none in the bath or bedrooms) #3 there is no where in the bath to hang your clothes while you shower, #4 there is only one small towel bar in the bath. #5 the linens they rent is not near enough for a cabin they rent for 6 people. #6 the exit road flooded & could not be used so we had to use a muddy , dirt road to get out. I under stand that the rain fall was heavy But I am sure this has happen before & could of been prevented with a culvert & a few tons of rock' #7 They lock the gate from 10 PM to 7 AM which is a great hassle to any one who wants to go to town in the evening & since you must have a key card to get thru the gate any way it seems silly to lock your guest out. All that being said this could very well be a 5 star resort if the owners would just put a LITTLE though in to the operation of the place

Flagstop was a great get away. Great service and reservation were simple. Going back in a few weeks. Highly recommend.Nearby activities: Playground and swimming beach. Great for a family get away

Me and 5 friends stayed in cabin 6 and it was filthy. The bathtub was stained and was dirty with hair in it, the carpets in the bedroom were filthy with stains, one of the bedroom doors wouldn t close, the few dish ware in the cabinets were not clean, etc.... I was so uncomfortable being there because everything was so dirty. When I was cleaning the bathroom myself the floor got wet and I wiped it up with a paper towel and It was black and also they don t provide bed sheets,towels,soap. I don t know if that s an extra charge or not.

Loved the camping availability and the beautiful beaches.Talk about a great family/friend vacation spot. Thinking about getting a permanent spot for next summer!

We didn t have any bedding we couldn t get in to the cabin very rude workers and as we was going out of the camp ground we almost lost our lives they don t have nothing telling you to watch as you leave the camp and the cops almost hit us and killed us so we will never go back to this camp again as for acorns resort they have everything you need might have to pay more but the best part is you won t loose your life with them
