We used Kanselaar Automotive for the 1st time today, and it went something like this. Called at the crack of 9:15 when I got up. Chrissy answered, and I said, "I need new breaks and a serpentine belt, What say you?" She said," Bring it on in." DId so and got a call 2 hrs later with a price. A reasonable price. I said, "Go for it." Got a call 4 hrs later to come get it.Fast, friendly, and reasonable.I've driven many used cars in my life and have known many repair shops. This was a great experience, and next time it breaks, we'll be back. Thanks.

I had the most pleasant first experience here with a couple issues I had with my car. The gal at the front desk (reading reviews, Chrissy is her name I believe) was unbelievably sweet, welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. I am certain this will not be my last time here and I am thankful I chose this business to trust. The repair didn t break the bank and pricing was very fair. The reviews speak for themselves, and I am happy to add another positive one :)! Thank you again!!

Do bot even consider these rude, overweight scam artists. You will be very upset if you even have to go here for any reason. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. After using my debit card to pay for the scam, they then used my card numbers to start taking recurring payments out of my account, without any authorization whatsoever, before I could get the account suspended ! DO NOT GO HERE!

I am very pleased to find a honest and fair pricing mechanic. There shop is clean and organized. They tell you what something costs upfront and don't do any price adjustments or add ons after work is done. Also Chrissy at the desk is amazing and so helpful

I happened across Kanselaar Auto by needing something close to my house for a quick fix. I am so glad I came across this place and now happy to be a customer for all my auto needs!! The customer service is fantastic and I appreciate the way they work personally with each customer. I can tell by their reviews I am not the only person that feels this way. Chrissy is always in a wonderful mood and cares about her place of business as well as the customers. Give this place your business, you won't regret it!!

There is still good in the world today!We started going to Kanselaar Automotive about a year ago for our oil changes, including our daughters car she had recently purchased.Earlier this summer our daughter had to use them for a car repair. They helped us arrange to have her car towed to them and then worked on. They were very fair in the price to fix and wonderful to work with during the process. A couple weeks later she was experiencing issues again and we dropped it off over the 4th of July holiday to get it looked at again. They couldn t technically find anything wrong but did clean a part and it has fixed the issue.Kaneselaar didn t charge her for the second visit since they didn t really find anything wrong. They knew she had recently moved into her own apartment, was still going to school and was paying for her own car repairs. This blew me away!!! There are not many businesses that would remotely do this for a young college student living on her own or care about her in this way.I highly recommend them for any of your car repairs or oil changes! They truly care about their customers!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery, Oil change

Called to see if they had a battery for a 98 Camry and they said they would look and call me back. That was almost a week ago. Never got a call back.

We were driving across Iowa after Christmas and the weather was very cold and the roads were icy. Our car was handling poorly so we called the shop and they were able to get us in without waiting, diagnosed the issue, and had us back on the road in less than an hour. They were incredibly helpful and nice, made our trip back much safer.

My truck was experiencing a crazy shaking when I hit a pot hole so I called kaselaar auto they got me in right away and check out my vehicle and informed me about what they found. The lady up front was nice and amazing customer service I would definitely recommend this place .

This family owned business is a throw back to an earlier time! With values like honesty, fairness, great communication, fair pricing, quick turn around, everything a business should do! I have had multiple cars serviced with Kanselaars, they did tires, electrical, suspension, diagnostic, and as simple as oil changes. They are priced better than the majority of shops! The work is spot on! When doing diagnostic work, they researched the codes, and safety bulletins, and gave me honest advice on what my options are! Can I just say AMAZING!! We are on our way back to WI from Arizona pulling a 28 foot trailer and of course we get a hole in our radiator hose. We called 4 places and Kanselaar Automotive told us to bring it on over and they looked at it right away!! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. We are glad we stumbled upon them. Wonderful family owned business. We recommend them to anyone!!

I have been going to Kansleaar Automotive since 2017 and everyone on the Kansleaar team will go above and beyond to exceed expectations. The small town feel of the shop makes you feel right at home. If you are looking for a place that wont screw you around and tell you exactly what you need, this is the place to be! The Kansleaar family treats you as they would treat their own family. We were in the middle of our return trip back to Wisconsin, and ending up with a coolant leak. They were amazing. They jumped on it right away for us. They didn t have the exact part because of the national shortage at the time. But we re able to come up with a fix that worked very well to get us home safely.Huge shout out to you guys. Thank you so much you guys saved our day.Please if you need anything please stop and see them. They seemed to be that they are a family operation and it means a lot to me being a small business owner myself to see mom, dad and the son operating the business. Kanselaar Staff is super professional and honest with me even though they had to tell me bad news over Christmas break, my transmission blew :( They helped me in many other ways and was super patient with me in the process of selling my car! New Years Eve day I was driving in the fog and freezing fog on my way back from Colorado to Wisconsin, when my windshield wipers stopped working in the middle of my window. I managed to get my car to a rest stop where I started making calls. Most places were closed as I went down a list. Then I called Kanselaar. Chrissy answered the phone. She said they were closed but asked me what the problem was so I told her, including that I was waiting for a tow but I needed a place to tell them to tow it to. So we discxussed the best way for me to do that and gave me directions to their shop. A few minuutes later she called back and said her husband felt it waasn't right to leave me stuck somewhere on a holiday weekend waiting on fixing the car nd he suggested they drive oout to the rest stop and we would get it back to his shop so at rleast the problem could be determined and see what could be doone so I could be on my way. They were great. They came out to the rest stop, her husband drove my car back to the shop and I rode, with my dog back to the shop with his wife in their truck. He found the problem, we talked about what would need to be done. They called multiple places trying to get parts and when none were available looked at how long it would take to get parts. As it turned out with the holiday nothing would be available until 5 days from now. They knew I did wanted to get back on the road. He showed me exactly what the problem was and reconnected what needed to be. Told me to be sure to see my mechanic when I got home and then he coud take care of it for me. He also told me if I did have any more issues with it on the way home I could call him, tell him where I was and he would connect me with someone who could help me. These people were my guardian angels today. They did all this for a stranger on a day when their shop was closed, which takes time, work and energy, yetr r3efused to allow me to pay them anything for it - not even for the gas they used to come out to the rest stop. These are very kind and thoughtful. I would reccommend to any and everyone! Thank you again Kanselaars'! And Happy New Year!!
