I recently entrusted my Porsche Taycan to Ultimate Paint Shop in Lake Bluff for a dent repair on the trunk, and I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Not only did the team exhibit unmatched professionalism and craftsmanship, but they also under-promised and over-delivered, far exceeding my expectations. The meticulous attention to detail has my Taycan looking impeccable, as if it just rolled off the showroom floor. The customer service was exemplary, making me feel valued and informed throughout the entire process. For those seeking exceptional auto body work, especially for high-value vehicles, I cannot recommend Ultimate Paint Shop highly enough. They truly understand the art of customer satisfaction and quality restoration.

I want to thank Ultimate Paint Shop for doing an A+ job on replacing and painting my front bumper on my A5 Audi. Not only did they pick up my vehicle on the day of the incident, but they were quick to respond with next steps. My car was returned in fantastic condition and everything not only looked terrific but the paint was a great match! Thank you to Andrea who worked with the insurance company and provided professional and courteous service! Thanks to Vanessa who was polite each and every time on the phone. Thank you to Juana who provided a friendly hello on the day I picked up my car. THANKS AGAIN to ULTIMATE PAINT SHOP. I recently picked up my Audi SQ5 from Ultimate Paint Shop and was amazed with the quality of the work, and the care Joanna and the team took to repair my car and make it look like it came out of the showroom! Although UPS has been in business for yrs, and is now being run by the 2nd generation, it felt like they were working as if the company was a start-up.Joanna, in particular, was my point person. There was an insurance claim, parts took an incredibly long time to arrive, and there was a fair amount of work needed. Joanna called me weekly with the update and status of my Audi. All of the UPS folks I met during a multi-month process were terrific and caring about their customers and the work they do.I couldn't recommend many services, regardless of industry, more than the confidence and good feelings I have as a result of my experience at Ultimate Paint Shop.Cheers to you all!

I would recommend this shop for any of your repair needs.I had hail damage to my Audi, car looks amazing, they are always communicating what's going on.I had a miserable 3rd party insurance company and Joanna knocked it out of the park getting them to get the car fixed correctly. All factory parts and a beautiful result!If you care about how your car gets treated and how it looks after the damage, this is the place to go! Thank you all so much for doing a top notch job!

Joanna and staff here are absolutely incredible. One of the greatest businesses I have ever had the pleasure of working with, in any line of work. Communication is excellent. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. Their knowledge for this line of work is second to none and they truly go way out of their way to put the customer first. They bent over backwards for me to have the best possible experience during an unfortunate/stressful situation. I truly cannot overstate how pleased and impressed I am with this group, especially Joanna (manager I believe). I would recommend them to anyone without an ounce of reservation!

Go here People!!! The Best of Chicago Land!i have being to many many body shops trough my life here in states and the europenever seing this kinda a quality work done anywhere no wonder all the mayor car dealers suggest ultimate body shop including mine VW Fletcher Jones dont waist your time with others if you want the job done right at first time!staff is super super friendly Andrea is Awesome !!! phone and text messages are answered in minutes even seconds sometimes even whe she is off work! they do treat every car like a Ferrarithe menager of the painting department i belive his name is Craig or Greg not shure i forgot will call you right before the painting to discuss every single micro problem if there is before he paint almost like its a person before the surgery and not the car what a place! I have seen many many paint jobs done by diferent body shops but Ultimate Paint Shop is just on another level they are number 1 than 5 empty spaces before the numbur 2 !!! they did replace front bumper and repaint the hood on my Porsche 911 and there is no way you could see that it was repainted they match the color 100% like you can see in pics i posted it looks factory untouched !Thank You Ultimate Paint Shop !!!Alex....Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My car was involved in a small accident, the Audi exchange recommended this place and I am glad they did.I am very picky about my car and I can notice any imperfections right away. Not with The ultimate body shop. They did an amazing job with my car and under any light the color match is 100%.I was so happy with the quality of their work that I brought my other car in for them to adjust a door that didn t felt right when closing.

It may have taken close to two months, but Craig and Angela did the best job in communicating with me everything that was happening with my car. The car looks amazing.

This is a top notch organization - from my first interaction with Joanna to delivery of my repaired vehicle, they were proactive in their communication, knowledgeable and extremely professional. They advocated for me with Allstate and provided a high level of service and quality. I would highly recommend them!

Great service! Went to get my door fixed. Ended up with a washed car and even with the interior cleaned!! and of course a fixed door. If you love your car definitely take it here. These people will actually take care of your car.I was a bit hesitant at first since the drive was 2.5 hours but I was very satisfied with their service. Honestly the best body shop I ve ever been to.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ultimate Paint Shop owner , Joe Young, last week at a local car show when he stopped to look at my car on display. Joe noticed a scratch on the front driver's side quarter panel and said he would be right back. He returned with a few products and worked on the area for a while. Joe wasn't satisfied saying it needed products/materials he didn't have with him then told me to stop by his Lake Bluff shop anytime to have his staff remove the scratch. He contacted his daughter, Andrea, the manager, to let her know I would be by.I stopped by the shop the next day and met the amazing Joanna who went right to work on the scratch. She made the entire process look effortless and in a short time the scratch disappeared as though it was never there - a true artist.Thank you Joe and Joanna!!!Service: Auto detailing

Worst experience!My Audi S5 was backed into by a large truck, had front end damage and was not drivable. I had it towed to The Ultimate Paint Shop as I was told that is where the Audi Exchange in Highland Park sends vehicles for body work.The truck that hit me had State Farm and they agreed to cover the damage.After about 8 weeks and a lot of money they told me to come pick up my vehicle. Problem started when I got in and started to drive off. The car was pulling to the left hard. So I brought it back and asked them to come for a test ride with me. They did and agreed with me that something was not right. I asked if anyone had taken the car for a test ride before releasing it to me in this unsafe condition. I got no answer. So now I had to take an Uber home as my ride had left and no one could drive me.Problems continue; Apparently the car that was hit in the front end had additional damage that was not discovered as part of the initial inspection, the supplemental inspection and insuring repairs including adjusting or making sure the sensors were all working correctly. No one had noticed that the control rod or alignment was off. Not sure how anyone in this business would not notice that. I noticed it right away within a minute of driving it and I have no car experience at all.So now 2 more weeks later State farm is not going to cover this claim as it seems no one had talked to them about it according to State Farm.I eventually call my own insurance company who agreed to cover this damage that The Ultimate Paint Shop had failed to repair as part of the damage and they will just fight State Farm over it.So in conclusion The Ultimate Paint Shop told me that they had screwed up and delivered a car to me that was not road worthy but was not willing to do anything about it. This review is long overdue. My car had some damage done to the right rear door and rear fender. Ultimate Paint Shop, as most of you will discover, is one of the only certified paint shops for Audi. From the moment I set the appointment to the moment I picked up my car, I was totally impressed. It's a family business -- you feel it throughout your experience. Got my Audi Q3 fixed here and had a wonderful experience! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my vehicle was restored to its original condition. They also answered and returned phone calls and all inquiries in a timely manner. My vehicle was ready exactly when promised. No issues whatsoever. Highly recommend this body shop!

Fantastic customer service and quality of work.My car developed a rust spot near my trunk lift gate and I brought it in for an estimate. They quickly determined that the gate was misaligned and repaired that defect in addition to the rust to correct the root problem. The work was done quickly and within the estimated cost, the finished product looked fantastic, and the inside of the car was cleaned and detailed prior to me picking it up. I would highly recommend this shop for any paint and body work needs!

Coming from an admittedly hard to impress customer, quality and professionalism of this shop are top notch and you can't help but notice the amount of Audis and other quality cars; a further endorsement of their reputation. We had a "small" paint and PDR project and were treated with the same professionalism and urgency as larger jobs beginning with Jonathan and his initial estimate. They will even have you come back in 30 days for a coat of wax on the painted panels; an indication of their craft and commitment for long-term satisfaction.Service: Body & Trim

Dino, Jonathon and the crew did an outstanding job repairing a small ding on my Porsche Macan this morning.After reviewing the damage Dino advised it was a minor repair and that they could make an appointment the next day.The tech was waiting for my arrival and the repair took less than an hour from check in to after job walk around. This was my second experience with Ultimate, and both were excellent. If you have a great vehicle that needs body work you will find no better place than Ultimate. On to Wisconsin for a great Labor Day.

I was referred to Ultimate Paint Shop from the AudiUsa website as a certified Audi body shop and can't rave enough about them. The staff was wonderful and the work done was flawless. They were communicative and helpful throughout the entire process.

Went here for all my cars Ivan does a wonderful job on his work takes His time and energy it his work. I reference Ivan to do your car detailing. A wonderful gentleman never does a bad job I will always let Ivan work on my cars.. Mad props to The Ultimate Paint Shop for getting me in right away! I had never done business with them before, but I absolutely will again! I didn't have to wait a week for a simple remove and replace for a bumper! Friendly staff, and very reasonable pricing. Thanks guys! I will see you in the spring!

Worse place ever! There estimated promise date is way off, they tell you 8 days & string you along for over 3 1/2 weeks to fix a freaking door!! When other shops quote 5-7 days, when the first thing I mentioned that I needed my car back asap because it's registered for work and I can't work without it, Then they damage your vehicle with cigarette burns right by the door they were dragging on fixing and I don't even smoke!& don't want to take the blame then quote you$800 on the burn damage, also they rip off insurance companies by ballooning the estimate by double so making you wait extra until they approve their scam,I had gone to 3 different shops & they all said the same thing$2300-$2600 worth of damage to get a new door including Gerber where I should have gone, not$4600!! How is that possible not to mention they promised me new parts and just repaired the old one with scratches and all!!& taking 3 1/2 freaking weeks! My car should have been perfect no? Yeah right, they didn't even do the moldings right not to mention they didn't even check the other door with the molding bent and not centered right..I could actually keep going on another couple of things but whatever! If you don't own @least a$100,000 vehicle don't go there cuz they will treat you and your vehicle like garbage because your not that important like their other clients FYI.. WORST PLACE EVER!!

My Porsche Panamera was damaged by motorest who did not yeld right a-way on a roundabout. I could not get my car repaired in Wisconsin and the Porsche Exchage (Highland Park, IL.) reccomended the Ultimate Paint Shop in Lake Bluff IL. These people did a outstanding job in repairing my Panamera.High end car owners get to be a bit crazy when it comes to there cars, and I guess I am one of those. I give them a FIVE star rating.

Watch out their estimate against what insurance will cover.They will tell you that they will work with insurance and apparently not at the end.I had one accident where I was over charged by about $200 more from my pocket (after deductible).The passenger drive door was repaired and it never really aligned properly, as a result when I go beyond 30mph, I hear too much wind noise coming in.Poor quality of the body repair job!Service: Body & Trim
