They are amazing! We were traveling and got a flat tire in all the road construction, we were traveling with 2 young kids and our 2 dogs. They got us right in and patched up within 30 minutes. They even turned on a kids movie for my daughter while we waited and put our spare back away. All for under $30. Highly recommend!

I was far away from home and started to experience a noise from my car. Came upon Car X and without an appointment they really helped me out and made sure I could make it home safely. I was traveling across several states and experienced a tire pressure issue. After calling ahead to this location, Steven was ready and waiting for me to arrive and took my car back right away. The crew gave great attention to the tires, took care of the issue and I was back on the road in a short amount of time. Top notch place!

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I had an appointment for an alignment at 3pm at their other shop. As I arrive, I am told there isn't a technician available to do the job. I chalked it up to things just happen, until a lady in the lobby told me she had been sitting there since 9:30am. I almost went home right then. The lady at the desk called this Car-X shop and asked if they could do it. The guy on the phone apparently told her "I have absolutely nothing going on." I drive over there and am told by one employee that they will have the test done in 25 minutes and the alignment would be another 30 minutes. TWO HOURS goes by, and I asked if they were done. Their response was that they had not even touched it yet. I raised my concerns with the people and even told them they would be receiving this review on Google. There was absolutely zero attempt to fix the situation. I don't believe I have ever taken the time to write a bad review; but, considering the circumstances and what may be at stake with a vehicle needing an alignment, I believe they deserve this one.Service: Wheel alignment

I cannot say enough about this place. I called to see if they had time to help me. I heard a kitten up inside my van but couldn t find it. When Scott answered he told me to bring it right down and they d help me out. They were very careful and patient trying everything to scare it out but didn t work. So they put it on the rack and spent 45 minutes taking screws out and found TWO 1 week old kittens. They carefully got them and handed them to me while they looked for any more and closed it all up. They dropped what they were doing to save the lives of 2 helpless fur babies. Thank you so much again!

My son had car troubles on Memorial Day as he was traveling cross-country. Car-X was open on the holiday and was extremely helpful. They fit him in and made the repair that day that allowed him to get back on the road. I can't say enough about how helpful they were -- great service, very nice, just top notch!

Update do not buy tires or any services from this place they do not warranty the services the perform or products they sell.Refused to warranty obviously bad tires.Had to go to the manufacturer directly.Says a lot about a companyUsed to be a staple in the community now it s a place that people go when they don t know better I feel bad for the people that end up here.Second time they have wasted a whole day of mine and still not fixed the problem i have seen them leave bolts completely out of cars and leave bolts on brake systems loose. They took my personal vehicle for a 25 mile joyride and still didn t align it like they were supposed to i will never return or send and business hereServices: Tires, Auto engine tuning, Wheel alignment

Great place to take your vehicle to. I went in for break work and they caught a major issue that the dealership I bought my vehicle from overlooked in their "inspection" with all 4 tires having the incorrect lug nuts and them also being hardly hand tight! They did my brake work and replaced all the lug nuts with the correct ones to get me safely back on the road. They've also done my oil changes and have been very quick with their work and everyone is super friendly.

I took my car in for a 1 day job and it turned into 3. The day I got my car back, a warning light popped on that had not been an issue before. I'm guessing something didn't get hooked back up properly. They offered a $75 discount for my trouble but said they couldn't do anything more. I spent over $1300 for the work they did. My discount was about 5%. Will not return.

Price was high for putting in a water pump for my Dodge Camper Van. Staff were friendly and helpful. Mechanic did a great job. But most important I was able to get home safely after the repair was done.

Very caring mechanic and owner. Took time to show us details of what is wrong with my vehicle before we drove out of their shop. They also put the correct windshield wipers on my vehicle since Kia put the wrong ones on my car which this is a Kia you think they would know the difference. Thank you everybody at the shop. Miles Starkey is an awesome technician. My daughter wrecked her car and he got it fixed right up and it drives like new. Will definitely be going back to him for all our auto needs. Initial visit was for diagnostic service. Consequent repairs were clarified as there was miscommunication regarding which noise vehicle was making that needed repair. We had Bill, a certified mechanic to see a need to replace battery and alternator which was done well. The sound that initially spurred the quest for repair was not eliminated but the next day I was treated to a free inspection that yielded the cause in the AC system. Bill again fixed that as my van needed repair from an overcharged AC system which was done well. I was treated with consideration and Bill was able to demonstrate the digital amount of excess Freon that someone else did incorrectly a week ago. Thank you Car-X staff and Bill. Went month ago for a stem valve replacement for 160$ went to another shop in town I had them replace the other 3 for 90$ wish I knew how much it cost me beforehand definitely woulda went to other placesService: TiresService: Tires

Service has always been superior, today they even outdid themselves. I have been dealing with a headache of a problem with my truck. Nobody has been able to provide a solution or cause for an intermittent vibration. Brian had told me that if it redeveloped to bring it back in and they would drive with me. True to their word, I called during a full backed up day, and they sent someone with me so they could experience what I was feeling. I was able to get it in today and instead of pushing it off, they spent the entire day trying to source the problem. Their hard work and dedication paid off and it appears that the problem has been fixed. Great job guys.***Updated***Since switching over to Car-X, the quality of customer service has tanked. I have been there 3 times since the switch over and have yet to be impressed. 1st time I went in for my "Free tire rotation" after buying 6 tires for my truck. It was only after that it was finished , was I told that the free rotations don't apply to my dually, because they have to remount the tires.2nd visit was for a radiator flush. Dropped the truck off first thing in the morning with an appointment time, so I could have it back before noon. They finally started working on it at noon and didn't get it done until 4pm. When I told them I was pretty upset about it because my day was totally screwed up at that point, I was told by someone in charge "I don't know what you want me to do, I have problems too. Corporate came in and made changes today and I lost a couple of guys." Totally acted like he was put off because I was upset about them not getting it done on time. A simple call to let me know they were running behind would have helped. I would have rescheduled it and been able to do what we needed to do. They did take the labor charges3rd time, and probably the last time I'll visit, was to get brakes and rotors replaced all around. Dropped it off for my appointment time, expecting a 3-4 hour job. 9 hours later, right before closing time they finished it. The excuse? We had someone go home sick. I'm noticing a trend developing. Good thing there are plenty of other options in town to use. The only good thing was the convenience of how close it was to my house.

Went in for a tire rotation and balancing, was told I needed 4 new tires and a battery. I had just replaced all 4 tires in Oklahoma less then 2 years ago with less then 20,000 miles on them. I just purchased a new battery in 9/21 at Napa there in Danville, went and had the battery tested and it was fine also. Tread depth on front 2 tires was 4/4, they said it was a 2, back tires were a 3. Being a professional semi driver, I deal with tire tread everyday and this was not at a level that would require all 4 tires to be replaced. Also, I had an appointment at 1 p.m. I arrived at 12:40, was told to come back at my appt time. There were no other cars being worked on in the shop or parked in the front, I would assume that arriving early for an appointment would be fine but to address a customer to come back once they were there is not acceptable and falsely telling customers they need things replaced when they don't it fraudulent business practices. I will not recommend this place for any car issues.
