5 of course!!!You saved me when my starter went out and it had been sitting at the dealership waiting for an opening for a month.That's why I came back when the service light went on for an oil change and needed power steering inspection.Thank you for your quick, thorough, and helpful staff.

Kauai Auto Repair does high quality work and it our go to team for our fleet. Very few places do good work and finished the job on time and these folks hit the mark. Plus Riley is so handsome!

Great Auto Repair shop to do business with. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Work is done in a timely manner.. Shop looks well equipped and clean. Would highly recommend Kauai Auto Repair to anyone who needs anything done to their vehicle.

I make it a point not to bring my car to Kuhio/midpac. Love my car, hate the dealer and service dept on island. Thankfully, the guys at Kauai auto repair can service my car. Not only was it cheaper and quick (dropped at 8am, done same day by 11am), my car looked great. Nothing was hanging off the bottom like how would return my car to me. Forget the dealer. You can get it serviced by Kauai auto repair and won t void your warranty. Plus there s just something about Riley T. He treats his customers well, but more importantly, my car is in good hands.

Brought my car in and they only did the toe alignment, not the camber the first time, they let me bring it back next week to finish the job so no problem.Picked it up aligned but now they leave a note saying barely any tie rod threads are in contact Mechanic was cool but told me there s only 3-4 threads connecting the inner and outer tie rod.That s less than a half inch of engagement, that s how you would drive around? Not safe why not just do the job rightThe photo on the left is how long a tie rod end is. The photo on the right shows how little they screwed it on. U can tell cuz they used blue threadlockerService: Wheel alignment

Angel and the staff at Kauai Auto Repair, LLC are very friendly and professional. Shawn is extremely courteous, helpful, answered all my questions, and easy to talk to. Riley was very courteous and helpful with sending me a quote for Tacoma. Will do business with them in the future.

This place is by far the best mechanic shop on the island! They make you understand what they're doing and they check in with you to make sure that that's what you want. I only take my vehicles here you should too!

I bought a mess of a car from some people, it had all kinds of problems including a pretty bad oil leak, had a couple people recommend Kauai Auto Repair and I m so glad they did. Kauai Auto Repair fixed everything my car runs like a top, I love my car now. No oil leaks, everything fixed and done amazingly fast! The customer service was fantastic, open clear communication, kept me updated on the progress via phone calls and text. I highly recommend Kauai Auto Repair. Top notch service, best experience I ve ever had with any auto repair.

Didn t follow Warren s instructions and also made him wait all day without any updates. He had to call around 3:30, they close at 4, and ask abut the status of his truck. They had to check and called back 5 minutes later saying they were done.

Went it with a flat tire on a rental. They checked the twice and told us there was no leak! Someone had just taken the air out as a prank. No charge even though they spent a good 30 minutes.

Love the service here and the online billing. I just walk to my car and go when they're done. They also take pictures and give a detailed inspection report....sometimes. Each time I've had different billing or communication. Sometimes text, sometimes call, sometimes a report, sometimes online billing. If they can iron out their system to be consistent then five stars all the way. Anything is better than the dealership!Service: Auto maintenance

Went in late for my appointment. They still took me in and didn't take long before my truck was on the rack. Tech advised me that had to replace some ball joints. But, got it to where the alignment was straight enough to drive around. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely use them again.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

KAR is the best! Riley is awesome about communicating updates so you re always kept in the loop about the status of your repairs. I see the owner responds to the positive comments left on here, but he doesn't respond to the comments from customers that his employees/company ripped off. Charging $860 for a wheel alignment. Nothing to say about that huh? That's ok because I make sure every single person I know and meet is aware of what I went through with Kauai Auto Repair. I show um the paperwork for proof. $860 alignment job. And I had to pay it to get my truck back. You sleep well at night though, huh? It's a small island, word will get around.Service: Wheel alignment

Kauai auto is such an amazing team! I was in a crunch to get my jeep in and had no other vehicle on island they were able to fit me in within 2 days on a completely booked out schedule. They were super fast in their service but also very thorough. There prices are unbeatable compared to every other auto repair shop on Kauai. They have great communication and break down all the details for you, highly highly recommend. Wouldn t go anywhere else!

I am so happy that I found Kauai Auto Repair. They are professional and extremely thorough. I feel like my car went to a top notch diagnostic surgeon. There was an indicator light flashing on my dashboard regarding my tire sensors. In the past I had put more air in a tire and sensor light stopped flashing. This time when I added air it kept flashing. I had 2 other auto repair locations tell me I needed 4 brand new sensors ranging up to $1000. and that I need to replace all 4. After bringing my car to Kauai Auto Repair and having a Digital Inspection, Oil Change Service Package and a Tire Rotation, the sensor lights stopped flashing. I was so happy about that! They also cleaned my cabin filter area and replaced the filter. All of this and more for less than $200.00Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tire rotations, Oil change

I brought my Toyota 4Runner to get hand brake check as it was slipping and they did a great job in communicating to me the issue they found including showing photos of the issue and cause. I went ahead and proceeded to have them fix the identified issue and they were again very good in communicating expectations on having to order parts and scheduling and how long it will take to fix the issues. Overall great customer service, timely scheduling and professional workers at Kauai Auto Repair. Thank you for the great job!Service: Brakes
