It's a very horrible place from the time you walk up. I went to go get a tire fixed that someone had mounted on backwards and I wait for awhile to get help the he comes and ask if he could help ao I tell him that I need to get a tire dismounted and put back on the correct way so he does without saying a price so he gets done and tells me $30 dollars for 4min of work which the tire wasn't even mounted on the car total rip off that's a used tire price

Not a fan of having to track down my own parts while still paying shop prices. Told meTo have parts asap in the morning. Well I did while they came in late and didn t work on it till hours after they opened. Only to find out the parts didn t work. Drive to two different auto parts store in different counties even though if my parts didn t work he could get them. I got aftermarket wheels so maybe that s a problem but majority of vehicles now a days do. But my main concern is getting things back in worse condition than I left it in. Brand new center caps messed up, new gouges in the wheel and the rotor. And again I paid shop prices while doing the leg work. If you read this I guess I need to give you my bill for parts and service fee. Wanted work done for my other truck but never got the estimate or care to deal with it.

Service was absolutely horrible . Had 3 of the employees walk by me as I was waiting to be helped and I said hello and acknowledged them all with a friendly hello and just got kind of blank stares back so after waiting 35 mins to get them to check on a tire for me I was informed I needed a new tire. understandable but I don t see why it took that long just to tell me that. It wasn t like they was slammed busy but I just thinking an Acknowledgment goes a long way if your waiting for a service to make a customer feel welcome. I took my business elsewhere and purchased 2 new tires for the price of the one he tried to sell me. I understand that supply and demand is a factor but don t gouge people. Especially ones that know better. Won t be back.Service: Tires

5/5! My son and I were traveling alone out of state when I started feeling/hearing weird noises when applying brakes. I called Ivey car care, Phillip said to bring the truck in. I got there, he took it for a test drive with me so I could explain what I was hearing. We went back to the shop, he was able to get truck diagnosed in a timely manner, and then showed me and explained EXACTLY what the issue was! We discussed options and pricing. Phillip was able to get parts delivered and installed in a timely manner, test drove it to ensure everything was fixed properly. Prices were more than fair! I couldn t have asked for a better experience given the circumstances!!! Highly recommend!Service: Brakes

I am a senior citizen, new in temple and I had no idea what to do when I started my car and my tire air pressure light was on. I stopped and told the mechanic I had to get on i20 to take my sister home and didn t want to unless I knew my tires were ok. He stopped what he was doing and repaired my car tire and only charged me $15. Yesterday I went to see them again for alignment, tires and brake pads. They were all very courteous and I felt like they were very fair and kind to me. I would definitely recommend them to other women that need help.

My tire was ripping apart on the interstate traveling through Georgia. I found this place and the service was fast and friendly. The guy who fixed my tire even educated me on who to tell what year a tire was produced! That turned my inconvenience into a learning experience for buying used tires! $92 bucks on a new tire and knowledge that'll last a lifetime!

Charlie and Philip are very nice and professional. They know what they are doing. Treat you like family. Very understanding. Good mechanics and have a good team of mechanics.

Went in to get a tire patched as my sensor told me my PSI was low in back passenger tire to discover a bolt. After putting the patch on the tire and beginning to put my tire on the vehicle the gentleman tried to claim where I previously purchased brand new tires did not put a sensor in that tire... Tried to argue with me until I stated my car reads each individual tire pressure on the dash board then became quite and owner stated he don't know what happened but will order another one. So like many other reviews state I then had to come back the next day to replace the sensor that was clearly in the tire when I arrived the previous day. Do NOT go here!!

Any issue i have ever taken to them is always resolved completely. Prices are very fair for exceptional work. I always leave knowing my vehicle has been serviced well.

It has been quite a few years ago that I chose this place for my auto repair shop. At that time, I had to go to them on about three different times for different repair jobs and I was amazed at the swift timing on each individual repair job. Not only the accuracy, but also the quality of the repair. Therefore, I would give them an "EXCELLENT" rating on these previous visits. So, I now have to have some repairs done on a different automobile and I pray that I get the same quality of service I received on the previous visits. Either way, I will definitely keep everyone posted. Because I truly believe that honesty and integrity are the number one factors. If this company has now neglected to overlook these two entities, we need to dust your feet off and move on to someone else.

Iveys is a good place here in Temple. The work here is pretty solid and reliable. He does work pretty fast usually get your car back same day or the next. He is a little more pricey than Tim's auto but Tim's is way slower. Of your in a hurry to get something fixed this is the place you go to in Temple.

Not good on air conditioning repair. Took my car in and asked them to use dye to locate leak. They replaced the scharder valves and filled with R134A. I went back in two weeks when system failed cooling again. They kept the car all day recharged with R134A again. The next day no cold air again. Took the car to another shop and they replaced the evaporator.

Ivey Car Care is an excellent place to take your car whether its minor or major repairs. They really take care of their customers and I would recommend them to anybody. (Good job Chuck!)

Just came by @ 2:35pm. They didn't even greet me and my husband. My husband asked was they open and the man said " we fixin to close". Didn't even ask what we needed or nothing. Didnt even try to set up another time to come back, just looked away. They closed at 3pm. So would not recommend, solely based on poor customer service.

Don't go to those guys, they will rip you off in a second. Get a quote up front cause they tried to charge over $400 to change brake pads, 2 calibers, and 2 rotors! The parts alone are less than 150 and it's about a 1 hour job!

My son had his car worked on their running hot small oil leak aswell.all is fixed nomore leak's has not ran hot anymore! Greatprice for the work very satisfied took a little time but it was done right...

I am always treated with the utmost respect and given professional service without being taken advantage of financially as has been with several places. I don't worry at all when I leave there that something will not be exactly as it should be. Also, I've personally known Mr. Ivey to help a woman who had her car vandalized while her husband was away from home working. She was in a bad situation with having two children art home and with no other transportation. I would recommend Ivey's car care to anyone everyday. Thanks to you all especially Charles.

Hello All, I wanted to rate my review here to let everyone know about Ivey Car Care. Ive used the shop 3 or 4 times in the past 5 years. During this time I had good overall serivce. During my recent visit I was overcharged on labor by about $220.00 dollars. I should have called around getting quotes before this but didnt because like i said in the past they treated me fair. I just want people to get quotes up front and do your homework. These guys will take advantage of you if you let them. I dont see honestly and intergity in the owners anymore. It's more money in their eyes.

Dropped off my van with them and told them I thought it had a bad wheel bearing. They called me and said both front ones were bad. Had both replaced and roaring continued. I took it back and they said both CV axels were bad. Had them both replaced. Still roaring as loud as ever. So I changed out myself one of the rear wheel bearings in about 1 hr at a cost of around $60. Problem fixed. Iveys took me for about $1500 on the other repairs, money wasted!

A bunch of nice guys with years and years of experience who won't nickel and dime you. I always go to Ivey's. Oil changes won't take all day like dealerships.

Great service, price is right. Good people work there. Very personable employees. Owner is always helpful no matter how small the job.
