Worst experience ever. Called up to get an estimate and the head guy was mad I went to the dealership for the diagnostic. Refused to do service unless I paid $100hr for them to do another diagnostic. Completely bias if you are a female. Had a male call in and was open to doing the work from his breakdown. Don t even want to give them the business at this point. Gender bias at its worst!!! Go anywhere else

Today my brakes started grinding really loud. I just moved here in January and hadn't a clue where to go. After pulling over and googling shops, I decided on D&S Car Services based on their 5-star reviews.They definitely earned and deserve their perfect rating. I walked in and Randy was welcoming, friendly, and really great in giving me a quote. It was extremely reasonable for all four brakes and an oil change. He even allowed me to look at the work that needed to be done before they started.The owner David was also there and kept me updated on the progress. He was incredibly nice and so kind to let me take my pet bird out of his carrier while I waited.If you need car service, do yourself a favor a visit D&S! BEST PLACE FOR CAR SERVICE IN DOUGLASVILLE!!!!!

My daughter's car was experiencing a loud noise coming from the vehicle's belt area. We were referred to this service shop and they had originally diagnosed the issue as a bad pulley, so they changed the pulley, after changing the pulley the noise was still present, 5 hours later they determined it was more than likely the alternator so they changed out the alternator and that appeared to clear up the noise but a few days later the car just shut-down while driving and we were told the computer code brought back a sensor switch which was replaced. They assured me that this was the issue and after installing the replacement part the code was gone; however, the car continues to shut-off and they are baffled as to what the issue is since there are no new codes. Our problem is we are paying to have things replaced that were never the issue to begin with, now we have to take the car to another shop only to be charged more money for more diagnostic fees with no refund for the parts that were no related to the issues. UNBELIEVEABLE!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I bought a Dodge Ram 2500 from the auction. It would not start. Googled some local shops around and decided to bring it to David and Randy. Within one day they figured out what the problem was and got it up and running. Words can t explain how happy I am. They might charge $95 an hour but they know what they re doing. Very trustworthy. Very professional. And I will always bring all my vehicles to these guys from now on. I really appreciate you guys! Thank you so much!Service: Electrical repair

Dave has been taking care of our cars for 10 years since we moved here. Honest & excellent repairs. Always Honest estimates. You can trust Dave!!! Honest Garage!!!!!!! A rare find in the industry.D & S Car Service , they are HONEST MECHANICS. They worked on our 2 cars again this Summer 2019. Power Steering Fluid leaking, just a switch. Now that's an Honest Mechanic. Excellent Work, always reasonable pricing.HONEST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE.

These people were so kind and amazing! They showed me exactly what was wrong with my car and got me out in about 30 minutes! I could tell right away that they were honest and good people, they charged me a very fair price and being a new driver they took away all of the nervousness I had with their friendly ways and their kind smiles! 10/10 would go their again!

Excellent service and all employees know what they're doing. Best mechanic shop I have ever dealt with in my entire life! And prices arent steep either. Had my manifold fixed, AC repaired and back brakes replaced all for 2100 bux.

I took my F250 ford truck to this place and I got 100% value service. David is one of the best mechanic that I have ever meet.He really knows his work and they are very honest people. One price and never change.

I had my truck towed here based on all of the 5 star reviews. I was very disappointed. They did not even fully diagnose my car and wanted $180 for a diagnostic. I was willing to have my car fixed but it seemed like they really didnt want to help or even tell me what the problem really was. Come to find out they told me what I told them that it was the timing chain. But they didnt even dig further I had a broken camshaft and had to replace the entire cylinder head. I had to pay another more affordable mechanic for a real diagnostic. Also I was quoted 2,200 for timing chain and 4,000 for engine swap. My new mechanic charged me $60 for a diagnostic, 400 for timing chain and another $200 to replace the cylinder head. With parts and labor I spent 1,000 bucks. Avoid this shop. They are way too expensive and not worth your time or money.

I would give no stars if I could. My mother took her van here to get the steering pump replaced, that went OK but when she brought it back for them to check to see if anything else was wrong with the vehicle, they said it needed motor mounts. She gave them the OK to replace them and when she got the van back the power steering was leaking, when she took it back to them to fix it they charged her to fix the mistake THEY made. After they fixed that there was a burnt oil smell in the car while driving, the power windows wouldn't work and the light in the back interior won't come on. We took it back and told them about these issues and that they weren't there until they worked on the vehicle and they wanted $90 an hour to diagnose the problems.In short, don't come here unless you want to leave with more issues than what you came in with

I went to this shop on a humbug. Oh....what I didn't know. It's a tucked away shop in Douglasville that's really reminiscent of those days when your mechanic knew you and your car and what to do about it. I experienced (1st) real human interaction, (2) honesty about what was going on with my car, and (3) I happened to luck up on David when I got there, and he KNEW what he was doing. Courteous, accommodating, fair prices, and very welcoming. This is my new shop.

Awesome service!! My vehicle was running extremely loud was told I Had an exhaust leak & broken hanger dropped my Jeep off around 9 it was ready by 11. My vehicle is sounds so much better staff where very helpful & nice!!!

When you find an honest auto repair place, you better hold on to their number! D&S Car Service in Douglasville is definitely a keeper! Hopefully, I won't ever need them on speed dial, but they are in my favs. I really was impressed.

This is the place to get your automobile fixed correctly the first time. These employees are honest working people who won't try ripping you off. If you have a question or are in need of a repair, d&s car service is the place to go. It will make your wallet and car happy.

Amazing owner and worker. Love them. Theyre awesone very smart and always have answers. Lisa the office manager is also amazing. This is my car spot. Wonderful people
