This place is wonderful. So much was wrong with my vehicle and did their best to get me the best prices. They also fixed my vehicle. They are very good people and I recommend if you need any auto service this is the place

We had our check engine light on and came by the shop. They had the problem figured out and us squared away in no time! Would definitely recommend for anyone who needs help in the area.

So I did not end up going here to fix my rental but I gave 5 stars because I was on the side of the road broken down in my rental 2016 Honda Pilot. They troubleshooted my issue over the phone despite them being completely full for the day (it was a Saturday). I drove from Missouri heading to Florida and I was able to make it to my destination safely thanks to them. Forever grateful for the kindness and knowledge.

After being stranded on I-75 with car issues (and being from out of state), called Tri-Star who answered the phone even prior to being open. The owner, Craig, recommended a local towing company and and he and his dad were proactive in looking for potential parts prior to us even arriving at the shop. Upon arrival, they helped to diagnose and fix the issue so that we could get back on the road again. Extremely grateful for their help!

Our alternator failed on a trip from Florida to Tennessee, they had us fixed up and back on the road the next morning at a very fair price. Good honest folks, many thanks.

My family (and our cat) was halfway through a six-hour-long drive when my car started overheating while having a quick bite of food down the road from this shop. I let the car cool down, topped off the radiator reservoir with water, and drive to this shop to have them check it out and make sure we could make it the rest of the way home. The two men who own and work there were so kind to us and quickly diagnosed the problem. Though the problem was a bit too big for us to fix right then (with it being so close to closing time and needing to order the parts), they assured me that we could make it home safely. They even took the time to teach my teen son where certain coolant system components are located and what to do when your vehicle runs hot. We made it home just fine and are so happy to have met these wonderful men.

These guys where my saving grace. My wife and I where just traveling to Georgia to deliver my tool boxes to a new job. Ironic I know since I m a senior master ford mechanic towing all my tools and couldn t fix it at the gas station. I contacted them after I had done a search for a radiator at a local parts store. Nobody showed they had one. So I called these guys. They not only found one the same day but since we had already been on the road for along time we just wanted to sleep. They let us nap in our vehicle until the part showed up. Then they got it in at noon and where very professional. Got back on the road and made it to our destination without issue. I can t say how much I appreciate them! From one mechanic to another I send love and good luck for y all. Thank you sooo much!!!!

Have gotten my struts done by these guys and a replacement on my high pressure line and drive belt. They did a great job. Have great customer service. The right kind of folks you d want under your hood. Thanks.

Was on a road trip from Florida to Ohio, broke down about 15 minutes away from here. After getting a tow to here the workers h r re checked my car out and told me within 30 minutes what was wrong with it. Got the part within a day and fixed it up very quickly. Tri-Star is definitely the place to go!!! I was traveling alone from Atlanta back home to Cleveland, TN and my alternator gave out on me. Phil had me feeling more confident about the situation straight from the initial phone call! Everyone was so professional, genuine, and so nice! Austin, the gentlemen that also helped me out with my car, did such a great job and he was so nice as well. They had me towed there all fixed up and back on the road in no time! The same day. They really care and it shows. People make a place and they are wonderful people! 10/10 would reccomend!!! Thank you so much!

These guys really came through for me. My car showed signs of my electronic throttle body was going out on my way to work one morning. I pulled in about 10 mins before they opened and was going to wait until opening but they walked right out to me and started helping me. They are very professional at this shop. Answered all our questions and Frank called several times letting us know where our truck was in the repair process. It looked perfect when we got it back and if we ever need body work done again this is where we will be going.

On Saturday, October 2nd, my family and I started our drive to Universal Studios in Orlando. We were so excited because we had been preparing for this trip for a few years, and due to Covid, this was our first opportunity. Before leaving, we replaced the radiator in our vehicle (among other things) and thought everything was in tip top shape. We made it to Adairsville, GA and stopped to stretch our legs. Immediately after turning the car off we saw smoke and smelled antifreeze. Our charger was overheating...not a good sign. My husband found a listing for Tri Star Auto Repair, which was just a couple of miles away. It was the nearest mechanic shop opened on Saturday...however only until noon, and it was already after 10am. We thought it was a long shot, but we were told to bring it down. Even though there were about 3 vehicles ahead of us, Phil worked us in to diagnose our issue. It turned out that we needed a new radiator fan and by some miracle the nearest auto parts store had one in stock. Phil and his mechanic were able to get everything switched out, which was no simple task, and had us back on our way within a few hours. Phil and his mechanic (I failed to get his name) were the nicest folks and stayed open after normal hours just to get us taken care of. I've never gotten a more Mayberry vibe before and it was an absolute blessing that we just happened to pull off of that exit at that particular time. Our situation could've been so much worse, as there weren't even any rental car places open nearby. We made it to Orlando without any other hiccups and were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation without any worries. We can't thank them enough for taking such good care of us.Service: General repairs & maintenance

While traveling through Georgia my Dad started to have engine trouble in his van. He was luckily close to Phil and Tri-Star Auto Repair. Phil made him a priority to get him back on the road quickly. Their quality work was not only quick, but extremely thorough, professional and at a great price! He was back on the road in no time. Thanks Phil and team!

Extremely friendly and professional staff. My brother's car broke down nearby when fleeing Florida from hurricane Irma and the owner was extremely informative and helpful. I had to drive over four hours to pick my brother up and was terrified that getting his car fixed there, so far from my house, would be a mission or nightmare. On the contrary, the owner was able to acquire a rear end for my brother's 2002 Montero sport and was always readily available to answer all of our questions. The price was fair and service was incredible. Thank you for saving my brother and I! We are extremely appreciative and grateful for your service. Thanks again and God bless!

My wife and were on our honeymoon driving through Georgia when our car broke down on the interstate near Adairsville. We received a recommendation to take the car into the Tristar, and we re so glad we did!The manager Phil was incredibly helpful. They were able to look at our car and diagnose the issue in a very timely manor.The people at Tristar were knowledgeable about cars, able to explain what was wrong with the car, and just had great customer service.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Traveling for Christmas and the car randomly began shaking. We thought it was the alternator so we pulled into a hotel for the night. Went to Auto Zone this morning and they recommended going to Phil so he could look at it. Turned out to be something like a spark plug. He called the Chrysler dealership and had them bring the part to us. He was very nice and helpful; overall it only took an hour and we re back on the road now to see for family for Christmas! Check him out!

I experienced car trouble hours from home. I'm so glad I read other reviews. Ultimately, other reviews helped me make my decision to drop my car off at Tri-Star. Phil was great from start to finish. I wanted to leave this review in hopes of helping others looking for an honest, fair, and reliable mechanic in the Adairsville area. Phil and Tri-Star will not disappoint.

Was very happy with the owner,and mechanic on duty. I was in a major bind with my truck and they took the time to help me diagnose the problem, even though I didn't have work done, they helped me out and decided that I could make it to my destination if I took it slow. Driving the back roads for 3,4 days up hwy 11 was a great time anyway...Met some great people along the way and the scenery was great.

We were driving from Atlanta to the mountains. Got off the Adairsville exit and started having a major mechanical issue. Did a quick search online and Tri-Star came up along with lots of stellar reviews from others who broke down in the area while traveling. Our experience was also awesome! They figured out the problem quickly, were able to get the parts and get things fixed within about two hours, charged a very fair price, and were just all around good people who went out of their way to help us get back on the road quickly and safely. If we lived closer we would bring our vehicles up here for repair all of the time. Highly Recommend!!!

We were in a pickle and Phil and Kendall were awesome. They got me in and out of there and were just the friendliest people. We were 700 miles from home and they welcomed us in. Car done was done in 15 minutes an I was back on the road. Thanks Phil and Kendall! Southern hospitality is alive and well @ Tri Star Auto Repair!

I took it to them. They said it was fine after they put in the new expansion tank. I drive to cartersville and it blows up again. So I took it back and they said they couldn t fix it for a few days and that I had to buy the parts and bring it to them and so I took it to a new shop to find out my new expansion tank is cracked down the side now. I need a new radiator and they stripped out my clutch fan. I don t recommend at all.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Definitely saved the day! I broke down on my way home to Indiana from Columbus. We were tired and already running very late and I had my 3 children with me. He quoted me a very fair price and stayed open late just to get me back on the road the same day! I would definitely recommend!

My son broke down in Adairsville and we live in Marietta, Ga. Since we didn't know anyone in the area, Tri-Star came highly recommended from someone at the Rome Hunting Club. We had the car towed there and Phil was able to fix the alternator and have our car ready the same day. Wow! Makes me want to drive up there from Marietta for all our repairs because of the great service.Thank Phil!

Phil, Kendall and the team at Tri-Stsr are incredible. Not only are they good at diagnosing and fixing automotive issues (especially on a older German car like I have), they go above and beyond to provide phenomenal service. So much so I drive from Atlanta to come here. They're great people and I wish I could give them a hundred stars.

We were on our way to atlanta for Dr's appt. When our car quit. Had two fellows at store recommend Phil and boy they were right. He even saved us money on the alternator found out it's still under warranty. We have found the best shop ever. Even though we live in trion we will be bringing our vehicles to adairsville for all repair work. Thanks Phil for a pleasant experience in an other wise bad day.

Super great guys. Brought in my car for one problem and they found another. They practically fixed the other one at cost. They will not allow you to leave on an unsafe car. They are very understanding and will take your situation into consideration while fixing your car. Will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their car repaired.

Phil and Karen were great they treat you like family. Phil & Karen go out of there way to help even if it is them staying late. my truck broke down ( i was from out of town), Phil did all he could to fix it. when the part could not come till the next day, Phil &Karen made sure i had place to stay, food and a ride to and from hotel. ( with a discount on hotel)... they are great people.Phil gives you great price and great work. i would go back and have Phil work on my car if i was not from out of state.
