Can't say thank you enough.I had a problem with my wheels, I called and after I told them the problem, they had me come in immediately even though they were gonna be closed by the time I arrived.He looked at the problem, showed me the problem so I would understand and told me that I need two new tires. He gave me a range of tires and prices and explained clearly and simply the pros and cons of each. I went with his recommendation and I don't regret it.Amazing business & amazing people.Friendly, great customer service.The first time I went to a mechanic and felt confident with the transaction. Honest, hard working, good people.

Jerry is now the person I'd trust most to fix anything on my car. If you look very closely you'll notice that no one who has actually trusted this business with their car has ever given it anything less than 5 stars. He worked well beyond his stated business hours to deliver me news about my car. He's a kind soul and my biggest regret is that by leaving this great review I might have more competition for getting my car fixed the next time I see him. I'm willing to live with that though since I think he's such a great guy. I won't live here forever, but while I do I will be trusting him with every repear and tune up to repay him for his great kindness and service.I guess I should mention that I had my car towed to him when it wasn't starting and he fixed it within 24 hours AND picked me up in it out of the kindness of his heart. If you're in dire straights, trust this man to do his best work always to try to save you. That's just the kind of man he is.Last thing is, he even walked me through my own anxiety about finding a way to get my car towed. He literally saved me from every trouble I had this week. I know one review isn't enough to repay him for his kindness, but I hope someone reads this and trusts this man the next time they need help with their car troubles.

Jerry took great care of our daughter when she got a flat tire. Was honest, quick, efficient and very professional. We couldn t have asked for me. They will be our go to for any further car issues. Thanks so much!!

Jerry was great! I'm a Jersey mom with a son that attends USF and he needed brakes for his car. Jerry made sure to communicate with me thru the whole process and he was very fair and honest with the work that needed to get done and the pricing. We will definitely be using him again! I had an excellent, no wonderful experience with Jerry. He fixed everything that I needed fixed and also offered to fix other things on the car for me at an affordable rate. I will never find another mechanic that's good as Jerry. Definitely recommend them. 10 out of 10!

Jerry did a wonderful job on my car and I will be going back to him from now on! I am a USF student new to the area and was a little worried I might end up paying more than I needed to because I don t know much about cars. However Jerry was very honest and upfront with his prices and he gave me a much better deal than some of the other mechanics in the area. He made sure I understood exactly what was going on, what I was being charged for, and even popped a dent out of my back bumper free of charge. He is a USF alumni and understands the struggle of finding a good mechanic while away for college and I appreciated that about him.

Jerry, a USF alumni has done great job with my Honda CRV alternator issue on the same day I sought help. He knows what he is talking about and put all efforts to get job done efficiently. Overall, his service is very satisfactory.

Jerry is super personable and always does his best to get your car up and running as fast as possible. I had my car break down close to closing time on a Friday and called Jerry to ask him if he could stay a little late to take in my car. The tow company took like 2 hours, but Jerry stayed so that I could get my car in before the weekend. I very rarely post reviews for service but i had such honest and exceptional service with Jerry at South Florida Auto Repair I wanted to let other customers know. Initially I had my vehicle towed into a local Honda Dealer for service, when I received a call from Dealer Service Dept. he advised my repairs would be over 5000 dollars, I knew I needed a 2nd opinion I read many reviews about South Florida Auto Repair and had my vehicle towed there. Jerry and his service technicians were so helpful and they got my car back on the road for under a thousand saving me over 4000 dollars. I am an out of state Dad for a student at USF, I will have my vehicle serviced here in the future. I found an honest and reliable repair shop, would highly recommended using South Florida Auto Repair

One of the greatest experience! Took my 1968 Beetle and Jerry the owner from the get go recognized me from a previous Beetle i took to him. He went above and beyond again. One of my issues i had was with my hood door it was loose because one of the hinges did not work. He took a pice from another lid cut it and welded on mine and its back again looking like OEM. This is just one of the reason i take my vehicle to him, because i know am getting great quality of work and most important, the trust i got on him. Thanks again!!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Jerry recently, and I must say, he is exceptionally helpful and sincere. When you think of a small business, among the first qualities that may come to mind are good, honest, personable and friendly service that you might not get at the big chain stores. These qualities are exactly what you will get at South Florida Auto with Jerry and his staff. Jerry is honest and will tell you what you need and what you don't need and won't try to up sell you. The way Jerry took care of my car, I felt he was putting the type of care and attention as if it were his own. I was restoring my 1995 Nissan Sentra both inside and out (see pictures) . As you can see from the pictures, Jerry pretty much had it looking brand new by the time I got it back. I fell in love with my older car all over again. It was as if I had a brand new car! His prices are also very reasonable. A lot less then what you might get at some of the chain stores. If you like personable touch, reasonable prices and a shop that treats your car as if it were their own, I highly suggest and recommend South Florida Auto Repair. In repair of my car, they have been ingenious in designing and using a connector ratchet to get to rusted spark plugs and coils. There by avoiding to open the engine and save me money. Very happy with them in the service and craftsmanship

Jerry is the best! I have taken my car to him for several years for all sorts of things - tires, batteries, oil change, brake change, etc. He has even corrected previous maintenance done at other chains! I brought in my car last week with the bumper hanging off. Jerry, the general manager assisted me right away. He was eager to help me and was so kind. He is amazing. Great prices and even better service. I would recommend their services to anyone!

Dropped my Inifinti G37 off yesterday at South Florida Auto, had an issue with a speed bump, skid plate partially detached and issue with damage to the exhaust line. Jerry was able to look at the car the same day and had it ready for me the next morning. He was able to weld my northern car for a great price. Instead of having to spend thousands on new parts, Jerry got to work and kept my car on the road for a great price. He went above and beyond with additional diagnostics and suggestions for my car. Jerry is a character, an old school, hard worker with excellent people skills. I felt like I was back home with my old mechanic. I trust Jerry and his decades in the industry, plus he s a USF grad! I'm a recent graduate that lives in the USF area and came here after reading the reviews on Google. Jerry was friendly and took great care of my 2004 Jaguar with a persistent battery light, check engine light, and blinkers that didn't work, all with very fair pricing!! He was honest and great at communicating with my father who owns the car, and he was very apologetic about the time that it took, but he definitely did the job right. I'm so thankful Jerry is close by because he was awesome to work with, he was considerate of my situation and went out of his way to pick me up, so I didn't have to Uber, which I really appreciated! He explained in detail what labor was done and the parts needed, and he even showed me parts that were removed and explained what was wrong with them. He made sure to take great care of my car. We will definitely be going back to him for future services. Thank you Jerry :)

I came to south Florida auto repair after reading all the reviews on Google and they were amazing!! I m usually very nervous going to mechanics because I don t know anything about cars. Jerry was very nice, made sure to explain to me what my car needed, actually showed me every single part and why it needed to be fixed/replaced. I left understanding everything that was being fixed and he was able to do everything very quickly. He was nice enough to clean my headlights which were barely visible and left it looking brand new! Thank you Jerry and the crew of South Florida Auto Repair! Before I sold my Xterra you were my mechanic of choice the 4 years after my dealership warranty expired. When I bought my new MINI Cooper I decided to bypass the dealership and come to you for maintenance. Also, I thank you for your body work recommendation after my freak accident with the parking garage hydraulic barrier. Gene Perez Body Repair did a wonderful job and provided excellent service. I got The Coop back yesterday. Ready for the Wiregrass car show!

Great mechanics, they know the in and outs of my 2017 VW Passat and my 2017 VW Jetta. I trust both of my vehicles to them since I get quality work at a fair price with quality replacement parts. Don t let the looks of the collectible vehicles on the lot be deceiving to you, they are professional mechanics behind those walls. Thanks for the quality of work done on my cars. Jerry was absolutely wonderful to work with! I had a check engine light and my car stalled so I brought it in. He listed out what needed to be fixed (I haven t been properly taking care of my car of late) and gave me a very fair price for the many many fixes I needed! He apologized profusely about how much time it took, but honestly I thought he was Speedy Gonz�lez with how fast he returned it to me even with Part being ordered online! He even threw in a tire rotation for free. Thank you so much Jerry, I will be returning back here for future work!

I WONT go to another shop near USF again! As a USF alum, Jerry knows what its like to be a student with car problems it generally messes up your schedule and your wallet. Not here. He went above and beyond from start to finish fitting me in to drop off my car in the morning and completing all the work in same-day, quickly not interfering with my classes. He informed me of what was done every step of the way, was knowledgeable, and did honest and hard work. I cannot emphasize enough that if you are in the USF area BRING YOUR CAR HERE! The work is quick, thorough, and Jerry is one of the nicest people I have ever met. The pricing wasn't just fair, it was phenomenal and didn't break the bank (and that's coming from a broke college student). I couldn't ask for a better experience I will definitely be back and I would give this shop 6/5 stars I would.

My car works great and the service was amazing. I was really stressed about my car I called the shop and Jerry picked up, got me in as soon as possible, told me not to worry, and even took me to work!! He replaced my spark plugs and coils, explained the whole process, and the price was much lower than I estimated. I am never going anywhere else for my auto needs. I had initially gone in for a pressure test to see where the coolant was leaking from in my car. Jerry helped me out and let me know what was wrong same day, and also other issues that needed to be addressed with the vehicle. He helped me understand my vehicle a little better and showed me all the parts that were replaced after repairs were complete. And he had kept me up to date and let me know how far along the car was and any snags they ran into along the way. Two weeks ago, there is a warning, high heating warning, showing on my car's panel. After searching on Google Map, I went to this place to let Jerry take check and repair for me. He is a very nice and kind man. He communicated with me and sent me back to campus, as well as started the check and repair. Although Thanksgiving holiday prolongs the repair period, he kept the connect with me and told me what is the trouble of my car. Finally, everything is OK! Jerry is such a sweet soul that is super honest with your car s diagnosis and kind in explaining exactly what is going on with your car.
