Danny and crew are fantastic. Very fair pricing and great service. John at the counter is attentive and keeps things on track while communicating status. I would highly recommend. No appointments -- so get here when they open. For things like Oil Changes--you can stop by anytime and they are pretty quick.

This place was recommended by my husband, His truck were also fixed here.However my first experience was not good regarding my car AC. It was such a a rush job on Friday...Second time around my car stayed in shop couple of days..They fixed my car AC. It is great so far and is blowing real cold air. I am very happy with service. .I definitely recommend this place. If it is wrong, They make it right.Quality Service with Honest prices..Thank you for great service.

Was recommended by a friend. I Brought my daughter's car in and had a great 1st experience. Dan called me to go over everything before performing the repairs. Rob did the work and did an excellent job. Work was completed on time at a fair and reasonable price. Nice to find a local honest and reliable family business still exists. Thank you guys! Highly recommend them.

My husband had some work done here. He was very satisfied and they were decently priced. They got the part he needed in a timely manner and the car was returned within the same day. He had no complaints. I'm sure him and I will both be returning for work that our mobile mechanic cannot do. I.e. body work or extensive work that requires the car to be lifted. Thanks for keeping my husband happy

This company was recommended to me by The Christian Brothers Automotive and they lived up to it. Danny and the guys there took great care of me. took my 1970 C10 with a tired chevy 350 engine to have it replaced with a blueprint crate engine. running great has worked on my truck before so there was no doubt on who i would choose to do the replacement. as was expected, I picked up my truck and drove it away and it is running flawlessly. i expected perfection and that's what i got.

Brought my car in to replace the tires and check my electrical. they replaced the tires in about 5 days (wish they would do appointments to speed the process). Had to bring my car back to running great a day later after my alternator died which was why I mentioned electical issues. The older man at the front desk seemed absolutely miserable and was rude when I asked how quickly it could be done as the electrical shouldve been checked at the first visit. Thankfully Danny stepped in and was super nice and helpful and made sure I was taken care of. Got the car back the next day. Overall, customer service was decent if your not including the rude front desk man. Definitely recommend going somewhere else if you are looking to get your car back in a quicker amount of time as they dont do appointments and have no in house parts (they order them).

Took my truck here, they did the work but it wasn't done right. They refuse to fix it. Owners name is Glenn. When trying to explain that it wasn't working and trying to discuss the warranty, he told me to get off his property and don't come back.

These guys are absolutely TOP NOTCH! I made an appointment for the next morning for an alignment after replacing my own control arms and tie rod ends, and they were done by that afternoon! Thanks, Running Great!

Horrible customer service. So called tech refused to fix car because of a modification. Claimed to specialize in old school cars. I made an appointment at the availability of the shop to be told that they are not sure when they could even get to my car. Pretty sure the only reason they knew about engine mod was because I stated that. Would not recommend this shop.

Hands down the best auto repair shop I ve ever gone to. Not only do they have awesome customer service; but they also always provide honest and reasonable quotes and I have never encountered any issues with their work. They also get the repairs done in a timely manner which is always a plus. I highly recommend both the auto body and the auto repair at this shop.Services: Painting, Brakes

I typically do everything myself on my car. As an Engineer, I am very mechanically inclined and I am very picky with taking my car to a mechanic for work to be done. I completely rebuilt the front end of my Chevy Silverado and I needed an alignment. I prefer to pay someone to do this job for me because of the tools needed. It is not a very complicated job and I saw a lot of technicians/mechanic do that (Pep boys, Firestone, tiresxxx etc). I had bad experiences with some national brands like them. A lot of them say that they are certified mechanics but, the way I see them, they are just here to replace parts. A good mechanic uses his brain and has the complete knowledge of the process and mechanical principles involved. I stopped by Running Great and I took a few minutes to see them working. After watching them, I decided to bring my car to Running Great. Robby took care of it. He was very professional, attentive and taking time to do a very complete and efficient job. He was not here just to press buttons and turn some wrenches. As a mechanic should do, he uses his brain and thinks as a mechanic. Thanks Robby and Running Great for your work.

I can't recommend this place enough. I was ripped off at another garage not long after I moved to the US in 2019. I'm from England and I wasn't aware it was such a common occurrence here. My dad (a retired police officer in the UK) posted in an online community for retired police/emergency service personnel in Tampa and someone recommended Running Great. 4 years (and 2 used cars) later and I would never go anywhere else. I happily recommend them to friends with car trouble. Thanks to Glen, John, and Danny for always taking great car of my old cars.

i want to say it was a pleasure dealing with danny.danny called me to let me know exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and would ask questions about it as well.the whole experience was great the staff was awesome to speak with.i would recommend anyone to go there and i definitely would go back if anything else happens to my vehicle.

This locally owned repair shop is probably one of the best in Tampa. Anything that I have taken to them for repair has been done correctly the first trip and has lasted way past any warranty on parts and labor that applied. This tells me that they retain talented technicians and source quality parts. I never felt that I was overcharged, or faced inflated labor hours on service quoted on estimates or for parts required for the repair.I worked for just shy of 40 yrs in the Automotive Repair Supply industry, so for me to make this favorable review, it comes from a place of expertise and knowledge of the Automotive Repair Industry and personal interaction with Running Great when getting my vehicles serviced. I highly recommend them for your needs when it comes to keeping your car on the road.

I had the rear seat bar mounts go bad on my 2011 Mustang. Danny & crew got them ordered & installed them without any issues and at a fair price. That's the way it goes at Running Great! Great service at fair prices!

Gotta be the best mechanic around. They're quick, they're efficient, and they give you the best value. Straight forward, will tell you what you need right away and what you can stand to wait on. Even rechecked my AC after I didn't wait long enough for it to cool down, really humored me there half as much as my mechanic was trying to charge me. My new go-to for sure.

I took in my Ford Fusion with an AC issue and a leak was detected. They properly pressurized the system to get it working again, and didn't insist on replacing the components, even though it may be necessary at some point in future. Danny was patient, helpful, and customer oriented. I had a good experience and will return when/if the problem reoccurs and the condenser needs replacing. Trustworthy shop!

I saw the reviews and trusted the mechanics here, I went for a tune up, after that, things were a disaster, my truck was not running great! I had one problem after another, I paid for problems that wasn't there before, for months. My truck was constantly in the shop for nothing to be fixed. Then, one day getting my vehicle back, my driver seat was rocking back and forth. My fiance looked under and saw what was a puncture from a lift. Obviously, I got my truck back damaged. I gave up and took my truck elsewhere, finally it was repaired. It was so dangerous I could've got into an accident. All vehicles should be checked to make sure this doesn't happen. It is a shame to have to pay mechanics to fix the problem they did and for it to not be resolved.
