I got in a front end collision about 5 years ago and took my car to this shop for repairs. During the repair process I remember them being really nice when I called asking about for progress updates. When I got it back my car looked just about better than when I bought it!Shortly after I got it back I did have issues with my horn not working properly, but because all their work is warrantied they had no problem fixing that issue for me.Other than that I didn t have any issues with the repairs for a long time. Until around last summer the paint on my hood started to look like the clear coat faded. It seemed to get worse very quickly and was a real bummer. I called them up and again they stood by their work and lifetime warranty by letting me take my car back to them to repaint the hood.I don t live in Tallahassee anymore and when my husband dropped my car off and told them we were paying out of pocket for a rental in order to bring my car to them they fixed it much quicker than we anticipated. Without being asked to do so I should add. Which was awesome, extremely considerate, and really appreciated.As stated above, I have had slight issues with some of the repair work they did but they earned five stars for their service and integrity. They stuck by their promises and that s something you don t find everywhere.

I have used Sheffield Auto & Truck Body Shop since I first moved to Tallahassee in 1988. Whether it was work paid by my insurance company, or work I was paying for myself, they have always had fair prices and done excellent work! Every person I have had any dealings with there has been so pleasant, from the person at the front desk to the manager/owner. They just moved from the Adams Street location where they were for so long, but this new place on West Pensacola provides more room..Sheffield Auto & Truck Body Shop on West Pensacola is the one that my neighbors and I all use because they do good work, and are fair and trustworthy.BTW--they should not be confused with another body shop in Tallahassee with the name Sheffield.

I have a little complicated fiat and had to be there twice in two months (I have horrible luck) and the staff was so quick and kind. They were able to order parts and give me an estimate same day and have my car back in my hands no later than a couple days after me bringing it to them. 10/10 recommend!

Charges high dollar for poor quality. Example: insurance claim-just prior to having a collision, I had replaced my LED headlights. After repair, yellow headlights. I had to return the vehicle after repair for corrections. And still, my vehicle has not been restored to pre collision condition. I was told I d have to pay over $1000 to repair front suspension arms. Unbelievable! In addition, no gloves were used during repairs resulting in discoloration of interior fabric, interior components were left loose and displaced. One of the mechanics even suggested taking a part off of another vehicle that was stowed for repair instead of ordering a new part to accommodate my repair. Very disappointed. Go next-door to Maaco, you d be better off!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim, Air conditioning

The other auto shop I talked to was asking for 200. Sheffield only wanted a scant 45$! Not to mention the guy there is tall, dark, and drop dead gorgeous. Thanks gentlemen!*I'm 99.99% sure these nice mechanics did extra work on my car, just to be gents! thank you so much for the rolling windows--will make Summer way breezier! <3

Have not had work done hear but did have a good run in with them after an accident. My car was totaled and sent here by sheriff's department. I called after a couple of days to let them know my struggles with the insurance company of the person that hit me. They worked with me as they had known how awful this insurance company can be. They where very friendly.

I had a rear tire blow on I-10 and the shredded tire really messed up the left rear quarter panel and wheel well. When Sheffields was done, it was like it never happened. Still looks great.Just involved in a crash last week. Van is about to be towed to there. I could have chosen anybody, but without a moment's hesitation, I chose Sheffield's again.

I went in after my truck was wrecked, so they could order the parts. I brought my truck in once the parts were in, like they requested. I was told it would be a week. It was not ready. I will update this post as to the time line and the quality of the work.

utterly subpair with their work and timeliness they gaslight their female clients and have the nerve to tell paying customers that they hate their jobs. Unfortunately they work reflects this. They tripped every sensor in my car and didn't check or rest the warnings. How is such a horrible business still openService: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I brought my cat in on may 7th for body work on the back bumper, driver's side taillight, and a hood replacement, verbally we talked about what needed to be done and on paper she left out the most obvious thing which is the hood that needs to be replaced the original amount was 2151.09 the number changed by 25.00 it is the 22nd and they said my car would be ready in 5 days. Byron did not even bother to call and keep me posted on my car, I called to check up on it they just hung up. I would never refer anyone to this shop, go anywhere but here.

We certainly recommend this business for anything that is needed for your vehicle.My husband Paul has known them for years and the service is still top notch!Great business and super nice owner and people working there.

They have had my son's car since early October and have done nothing to get it fixed and back to him. They kept telling him they were waiting on parts, then that it was almost done and when he went up there it was in pieces. Do not use this company if you want anything done timely.

This place is a jokeMy trucked got wrecked on may 19The first shop couldn t fix it in time so we had it pulled to Sheffield s which they had promised me it would be fixed within a month here it is now almost 5 weeks and they haven t even startedfirst excuse was there waiting on parts and now they tell me they can t fix it because of the wiring problem witch it was not even wrecked in the front so I don t understand where the wording problem is coming fromThey tell me one thing and my insurance company a different storyI don t not recommend this company to even check your tire pressureThey lie and don t care about there clientsStay away from Sheffield s body shop

Don t know how too get in contact with people and work takes way too long I was told 4-5 days and they ve now had my vehicle over a weekWould not recommend!!!
