Zach is an excellent tech and manager! He worked with me to figure out what we could accomplish within my limited budget with a brake issue that happened at the end of the week. By 2pm on Saturday we were back on the road and much safer. Appreciate the excellent service and making our van safer!

We went to Monro on Broad Street in Manchester and got a written quote for an oil change with some filter replacements that were due on our car. The quote was favorable, so we scheduled an appointment for a later date and time. When we arrived to drop off the car, we were told they were short-staffed and could we leave the car overnight? Perplexed that we weren't called about this, we decided to reschedule for the next day, and dropped the car off first thing in the morning with a request for a call when the work was completed. By day's end nobody had called, so we showed up at 4:30 p.m. and were told that the car had been ready for over an hour. The bill was above the estimate provided by about $10, and when I showed the manager, Craig, the written estimate provided, he responded that had the work been done at a dealership it would have cost twice what he was now asking, and this was the best he could do. We think the best he could have done was honor the estimate his shop originally provided, and not make a nonsensical argument of what we might or might not have paid elsewhere. Our experience with Monro on Broad Street in Manchester, CT is that they are undependable with appointment times and provide quotes that they then fail to honor once the work is completed. So not only will we not be going back, we want others to know that this is how Craig, the shop's manager, has chosen to do business. It seems silly to us that someone would choose to damage their reputation as untrustworthy in such a way, but Craig seemed comfortable in making these decisions, giving us the impression he's done this to others without concern. If you are the type of customer who expects a business to honor appointment times and written quotes, you should look elsewhere for your tires and other automotive needs. For tires, we recommend Town Fair Tire on West Middle Street. We recently brought them a competitive quote, and they matched it and honored the written quote they provided us to the penny. It's a much better feeling and experience for a customer when they can trust the person across the counter.

I received the flyer in the mail regarding this location. I called them the service was very good. They did a brake system flush on my car. I was very pleased with the staff the friendliness and the professionals of them. Plan to go back for more service as needed.

I made several appointments and the first 2 were canceled because they didn t have enough people on to work on it. The other time was because they didn t have the part. When my 3rd appointment day came I was told I would have my car back in a few hours. A few hours turned into 9 hours. When I finally got my car back there was a black stain on my seat because whoever sat in it had it on their bottom. I haven t been that satisfied with the professionalism in a while and not sure I ll be returning.

This place is excellent! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Quick service time. They are known in town for being the "go to" place for your automotive maintenance needs. And of course you gotta love when someone on their staff is willing to dress up as a ginger bread man to stand in the rain and wave at passing motorists on Thanksgiving eve! This place is great!

Absolutely a terrible experience. My husband and I are already frustrated that our brakes have gone in our van We understand it's going to cost a decent amount of money to get it fixed. We scheduled an appointment for 9:30 a.m. to come get an estimate on our brakes. Upon arrival we were greeted with an empty lobby then waited about 5 minutes for somebody to even acknowledge us and there was nobody even in there. When we told them our information they looked confused as if we didn't even make an appointment which we did days ago. We were told it was going to take 45 minutes to an hour. We gave them an hour and a half and came back our car did not even move. Then they proceeded to tell us that they were about to take it back and that it would only take 20 minutes. If it would only take 20 minutes why did it not get done in the hour and a half that I gave him to work on the vehicle? Now I am out an hour and a half of my life that I will not get back. What a complete waste of time. Go elsewhere if you're looking to get any work done to your car.

12/10 service level - highly recommend!! Craig Millstein (Store Manager) and his staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I brought my car there at 2 pm on Christmas Eve because it wasn t starting properly and I had a long drive back to MA the next morning. Even though it was a skeleton crew due to the holiday, Craig and his staff offered quick service and engine diagnostics so I could feel confident and safe getting back home the next day for Christmas. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a trustworthy and efficient car service center.

Had a major issue with a tire and needed to get one put on asap. Felix made it happen. I called to see if they had a tire to fit, was originally told they didn t. Felix called me back after he had found one and told me to come down. In and out in under an hour. Everyone is always so great. I ve come here for many other tire related purchases and will continue to come back.

Terrible experience.Dropped my car off at opening and 6 hrs later I called to find out they didn't do anything. Will never get my business.$1300 I was quoted for new brakes at your business.Took my vehicle to a local garage they replaced a couple of brake hoses. And resurfaced my rotors way less than your $1300 quote. I will be turning your business in.

I brought my car in on a Sunday. I had an appointment but they were short some people and were running behind. They were upfront and honest about it though so I didn t mind waiting. I got everything done that was needed and everyone I encountered was very helpful and pleasant. I ll be back.

Took my Audi in because the front end was vibrating and there was a creaking noise when you turned the steering wheel. They said the tires needed to be replaced because they were cupping. Put new Continentals on it. Got it home to find it was doing the same thing. Turns out that the tie rod was frozen on the driver's side. They never bothered to look that far into it. It's an easy find and fix if they had actually sat in it and just turned the wheel back and forth. Needless to say it went somewhere else to be repaired.

Brought in my 1k+ corvette wheels to be mounted and balanced here. Charged me $110 for that and valve stems. For that much money you would expect the job to be done right. Clearly the incapable workers here don t know how to work a machine as 3 out of 4 or my wheels had clear scratches from their mounting machine. Chrome wheels at that, so now they chrome will start to peel prematurely. Manager claims they were mounted backwards which clearly wasn t the case as they were scratched. Not a trustworthy location, overpriced with workers as skilled someone who s never picked up a tool in their life. If you value your money and your vehicle STAY AWAY!

Had an engine light sensor on which was causing our vehicle to turn off and Monroe was the best place i chose for to get it fixed. They worked with our time schedule and they fixed it in a matter of just a few hours. I highly recommend to bring your vehicle here. Ask for craig he will tell you the best offers for your vehicle.

Monro Auto Service and Tire Center located in Manchester, CT has a professional staff of exceptional mechanics, and whenever I need a repair person to fix my car I tend to rely on them to get the job done rather than any other auto shop. From my experience dealing with them, they are very polite, honest, knowledgeable, and very efficient people when it comes to their customers. Please consider Monto Auto Service and Tire Center if your vehicle needs a fix.

Absolutely awful. I had my car towed to Munro due to a blown tire. They said they could look at it by the next day. I had to call 6 times only to finally find out that they can't patch the tire nor do they have ANY tires that would fit the car. Colossal waste of time, super shady, and just all around awful. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Very helpful! Had me on the road in less than 20 minutes! Free battery replacement when another store wouldn t even touch it because it was a Mercedes!Employees were all very friendly! Will definitely be back!!

Needed a tire urgently and they didn t have the tire I needed at Manchester Store. They made multiple calls to other Monroe tire centers in my area and no one was willing to put it on for me due to time or lack of techs. Manchester was able to coordinate getting the tire I needed to them and putting it on for me in less than 2 hours. On a Sunday. Great customer service. Helpful. Kind.

Craig the store manager was awesome and the workers did a great job. I came in on a very busy Saturday morning in December. I needed two new tires, alignment, and high mileage full synthetic oil change. Not only did they work with me on pricing but they got this all done within 2-hours. I would highly recommend Monro of Manchester, CT. Craig told me what the pricing was up front and how much it would be out the door. There was no hidden fees like the other tire places that we all know.

I scheduled a same day appointment for what I thought was going to be a quick and easy repair. It was a lot more serious than I realized and all the employees went above and beyond to accommodate me. They were very clear about pricing and even though I don't know much about cars, from what I've seen online, their pricing was fair. I live out in the woods and didn't have a ride home, so they managed to fit me in before they closed and I was able to drive home that night. Everyone was very nice and friendly as well. Great experience for an otherwise stressful situation, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Horrible. Check engine light was on, and had a diagnostic done at a different auto shop that I needed a thermostat and a new battery. Took it to them and they said it wasn t either but the battery wasn t secured. Charged me 120$ and the light came back on 300 miles later and it s the same codes on a code reader. Crooks.
