We were referred to Hopfe from another reputable business in town for repair/replacement of our brakes on our 4Runner. Ken was friendly and kept us updated on what was needed and cost. Work was done well and in a timely manner. When needed, we will be back.

I had multiple problems with my 2017 F-150. I looked up the auto mechanic on Google with the highest ratings, Hopfe came up 4.9 out of 5 so i gave them a call. I asked to see if they could fit me into their schedule. They told me to drop by and they would take a look at it. I needed a battery and they needed to order it. It came in late that evening so I was told to come back first thing in the morning.I went the next morning and they installed the new battery, easy enough. They cleared the codes but more codes popped up, there was something else wrong. They searched my truck and found that critters had chewed my wiring and vacuum hoses. They spent the time to find all the problems and repaired as much as they could without installing new and expensive parts.They repaired my vehicle fully and reasonably inexpensively. They were kind, honest and thorough. I would recommend them to anyone.

After 4 years of taking my vehicle to Hopfe Automotive I can honestly say you won't find better service. Ken is reliable and honest and I always feel like I'm under-paying for the work he does. I went to Hopfe thinking I needed an expensive repair on my Jeep. Ken and his guys discovered that my problem was something else and saved me a bunch of money. My Jeep is running great. We've found a new place to take our cars! In the last three weeks, we've had a Jeep, a Mitsubishi, and a Ford over to visit with Ken at Hopfe Automotive. All three vehicle issues were diagnosed and repaired in a day (which is truly remarkable and appreciated as our last mechanic took 2-3 days to finish a job). We're so pleased with the work and Hopfe's fair prices. No offense to Ken, but I hope we don't see him professionally in the near future. But if we do have trouble with any of our vehicles, he's our go-to guy!

Ken and his crew run a First Class operation. A family member ran over a truck recap that had slung off on I-25. She was stranded and a two truck was called. Not knowing about any garages in the area, she asked for a recommendation from the tow truck driver. Thank goodness he suggested Hopfe Automotive. They were prompt and fair. Their price was reasonable, and the work came with a warranty. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business.

Upside: Knowledgable staff, reasonable rates, convenient drop off, fast service. Willing to stay late for people picking up vehicle.Downside: None really. Due to popularity may take a few days to get in.Comments: Been here three times now for repairs and have always been satisfied. Would recommend.

SIMPLY THE BEST! NOBODY DOES IT BETTER! Hopfe Automotive is the James Bond of Auto Repair; they will complete the mission right! And if the repair is something they don't do, they will give you their best recommendation for the task. We are always leery of taking our vehicle to a mechanic we've never been to before, but didn't have a choice over the New Year. Our car broke down in the pass and we had to tow it to a shop ASAP. Most of the other shops in town were closed until the 6th, but Hopfe's owner, Ken, happened to be working over the holiday while his guys took the time off. This was especially encouraging because not only was he working hard, he was cleaning up his shop. He expressed how disappointed he was at how dirty things had gotten, but I've never seen a cleaner shop unless it's a dealership where janitors keep it spotless.Ken followed through with his promise to call and notify us of what was wrong with the vehicle. He purchased the parts and installed an alternator the next day.Something I loved about Ken is that he was very blunt and never beat around the bush. I prefer that style of communication because I never guessed about how he felt or what he was going to do.

I own a 67 Firebird. I cannot express how difficult it is to find competent mechanics that can work on such an old car without trying to screw you over. Not only did these guys get my car running better than it literally ever has, but they did it for a fantastic price. You can trust them to work with older cars, I simply couldn't be more satisfied. They've earned my patronage permanently.

I live in New Mexico. Was visiting family in Woodland and had a strange noise when driving. Was ready to spend hundreds. Took it in to Hopfe Automotive. They got me right in and had fixed the problem in a few hours. It was a missing bolt. The ONLY place I will take my car in Woodland park in the future.
