I was in and out of the shop within 30 minutes with my reasonably priced repair, including delivery of a part from the local auto parts store. Being 800 miles from home, I now have peace of mind thanks to JM Tire. They were recommended to me by a local, so I will pay it forward here!

I really do not like rating places unless they are awesome but these guys I just do not know about. They helped me a few years ago with a flat and I was happy with their service and this is why I'm disappointed to write this one. The tires themselves that they helped me pick out are decent tires and the time it took them was ok but I got my truck back and the tpms system was deleted so it has to be re-entered and if you know anything about Toyota's they are the worst. The dealer charges $175. I washed the truck the day before and paid special attention to the wheel wells because I live outside of the city where the dirt gets to know you. All the mud panels were on and when I got home after the tires were installed three of the panels were missing (again, Toyota). These panels are secured pretty well and just do not fall off and why J&M would need to remove them is beyond my understanding. The manager was really good, went through the security footage and said they were not on and he showed me the footage in pieces but I couldn't really make anything out. The technician said they were all there when it left so I just don't know what to think. The truck didn't go anywhere unsupervised since I washed it and I'm dumbfounded to understand. I know it's been a long time since I worked tires, I was a teenager but things must have changed because the weights they used were plentiful and the rim still had dirt on them where they were placed so just got to see what happens there.I gave them plenty of chances to address the concerns and I wanted to get tires for my Jeep that they never responded too so it is sitting stuck because smooth Street tires just do not work in snow. Just know your needs and check it out real good before you leave.

Always so professional and great service. One time they over charged for a tire rotation on my husband s car and literally chased me down the street to refund me. They re always squeeze me in when I wait until last minute. I would pick them over any big O or Walmart, any day.

Needed some tires for an RV. Sales guy was very helpful and tried to set me up with a good deal. The problem was the installation. They broke the spare tire winch, ruined one of the tire stem extensions, smashed another extension under the hub cap, and allowed one of the duals to go flat due to the ruined extension. Thankfully another shop helped me out and the tire wasn't ruined.They came with good recommendations but I did NOT have a good experience.

We had a serious problem with our RV about 8 miles outside of Raton. We had to leave the RV on the side of the road as it was unable to be moved. The good people at JM Tire and Auto Repair made arrangements to pick up the RV and had it towed to their lot before the end of the day, even though this occurred on the weekend. They were in contact with us throughout the day and successfully repaired the RV in a reasonable amount of time. They were wonderful to work with!

Jm tire will not come tow my vehicle claiming they cannot come because of snow. There was snow a week and a half ago, 3 whole inches, but not anymore or for the last week. Dry dirt roads...but they refuse to help me. BEWARE OF BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Jumped right on a tow for us from 7.5 miles south of Trinidad and pulled us all the way to Wheat Ridge. Great communication and perfect service. I just limped my barely-surviving tire in to find they were closed before 4pm on Saturday. I don't have a problem with that but please don't advertise as being open 24 hrs. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I were traveling from Colorado to Texas when our brakes failed while exiting the highway for gas. We called JM Tire as they were close to where we broke down. They quickly got a tow truck to us and diagnosed the issue right as they were closing for the day. They provided us with transportation to and from a local hotel for the night. Within hours of opening the following day, they had the brakes repaired and had us back on the road in no time. Impeccable service, fair prices and wonderful people. Highly recommend!

Though I tried giving my business to JM Tire yrs ago, I would never use them and glad I didn't buy tires. But seems my daughter had good luck with JM in Trinidad and wanted to give the locals in Walsenburg the business. She ordered tires for my car that came in a few weeks ago and they didn't seem to be on top of it about when to take the car in. She was told first come first serve and so on. I took it in last week and the guy she dealt with had no information about the tires nor her. So I called her and relayed what he told me. She's like what! I had her on speaker so I handed the phone to him. He totally lied to me about not knowing anything of the tires or her. To top it off he told her they were swamped and to bring it in next day, first come first serve. I took pictures of the empty stalls to show her they were not busy like he told her. I let it go, wasted my whole day when I had so much work to be done at hm. Same experience for her since then. I'm buying tires at Discount Tires in Pueblo where they take pride and care into they're wk

These guys are crooks. They had my car for over a year. I tried to get ahold of them weekly without follow up from them for 7 months. When they finally found me an engine 7 months in, they wanted to charge me $3,000 more than anyone else. I had to get it towed through AAA to Denver. Unfortunately AAA uses them to tow. When I picked up my vehicle from the shop that actually fixed it (which only took them a week to get an engine and fix it for a reasonable price) my entire front fender liner was missing and the clips on my front drivers light were broken. I m finally driving it home, after a year, with body damage and peeled paint from them leaving it in the sun no doubt. Do not use this company!!!

We broke down over an hour away from the shop. The gentleman who picked us up volunteered to work that night because people need help. He was very friendly and arrived quickly. We felt very comfortable and safe on our trip back to town. Upon arriving in town there were no hotel rooms available. We rode around 4 AM. He made some phone calls and found us a very nice room at a very exceptional rate. It took two days to get the job completed on our BMW X5. The shop manager understood our situation and without hesitation he made our vehicle a priority. They were very professional and courteous. They were very thorough and helpful and compassionate. I would definitely recommend the shop

What a great shop, we were traveling when we had a nail puncture our tire. We pulled up, they got us in right away, did a great fix and we were back on the road in no time. Thank you to the staff.

This place offers excellent service. A couple of weeks ago my 20 ft, Winnebago, RV broke down in Trinidad, Co. Joe, the owner of JM Tire and Auto Repair, put it on a flatbed and we took it a hundred miles away to where I needed to store it. I had called others who offered towing services in Trinidad and they were unable to help me because they didn't have the right trucks. We left the shop late in the day for the trip ...... no extra charges....and Joe saved me money by being able to put the RV on the flatbed, instead of using a special truck. The service was handled professionally from beginning to end. The charges were fair and my stress level returned to feeling like life was under control again. Thank all of you who helped solve my RV problem at JM Tires. I highly recommend you!!!

What a great shop! I nearly lost a wheel on the freeway approaching Trinidad. I was down to two lug nuts--the others had rattled loose on the road trip somehow. I was lucky to make it to JM Tire with the back right tire still in place, and they made space in their very busy day to get it fixed so I was back on the road that day! I really appreciate their quick and thorough work and highly recommend this shop.

One of the worst places in Trinidad to take your vehicle for repair. Even with an early morning appointment, your lucky if you get it back by the next day. So, if you can't get to your work shift because they can't honor their work, you lose your pay for the day on top of the cost of tires and repairs. Go somewhere else.

Great service on my ball joint. All auto service is over priced. The only issue I had is I had to install my speed sensor/abs sensor in my truck. I was told I needed a hub and the sensor was part of the hub that was incorrect. The sensor came out without the hub it wasn't a part of the hub assembly. I saved 724.00. that should have been checked more through. My part cost 68.00

I am super grateful for this great place! I was going to Trinidad and my truck started to rattle. I was nervous about going on back over the pass and called these guys and they got me right in told me what was wrong and where to go to fix it that my warranty would cover. Fantastic service, great people, and super clean shop! I will be coming back when I need new tires and recommending them to everyone I know! Thanks guys!!!Service: Auto maintenance

Great service, even though they were obviously very busy. I got 4 new tires and my oil leak fixed quickly and for a fair price. Jeremy was awesome and very knowledgeable. My 2010 Honda Fit s AC compressor got noisy in western Kansas. I decided to risk driving to Trinidad and bigger repair shops.I m glad I found JM Tire and Auto.A mechanic listened to it on a Monday morning, a clerk ordered parts, and my compressor was replaced the next day.Enjoying cool AC and a new serpentine belt thanks to the team at JM! Thanks for fitting this traveler in on short notice.

WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE for JM Tire and Auto Repair. Over memorial day weekend our engine seized in Raton Pass on the way back to Denver. Joe came to tow us, and his calm and kind demenor made scary and stressful situation more manageable. We left the car there and Joe gave us some excellent advice to upgrade our AAA to premium, in case we needed a tow back to Denver. Mark looked at the car and told us we needed an engine replacement, but went the extra mile and identified that the car might be under an extended warranty from Hyundai. He even called a dealership to investigate. Long story short, AAA towed us back to Denver, which was covered under the new premium plan, and a repair that could have been up to $16k ended up costing me $600. Needless to say, I didn't have $16k to throw around, so that was a huge deal to me. (Now, it took Hyundai forever to actually make the repair, but that's another story). I'll be forever grateful to Mark, Joe, and JM team for their integrity and service. Thank you.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Car towing

On my way to New Mexico for Thanksgiving, I heard a scraping noise and thought one of my tires might be going flat. I stopped here and a mechanic looked at my car right away, figured out what was wrong, and didn t even charge me because it turned out to be an incredibly quick & easy fix. Super glad this place was just a short detour on my route, and grateful for the friendly and professional staff who went out of their way to make sure I got back on the road safely.

Got a flat this morning while heading to the DMV in Trinidad at Mile marker 32 called j& m and double checked to see if they had my tire They said twice that they did we got there and not the right tire at all so now I have to go to Pueblo to discount tire to get the tire while my vehicle is still off the road by Trinidad off to Pueblo the drive back to the vehicle and put the tire back on grrrrr been a long day
