What a fantastic camp grounds. My wife and I stayed 4 nights and it was GREAT.... We were sad to leave. The owners are the nicest people in the world!!! Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely be back. The night sky was amazing. We loved that the grounds were not all commercialized. Raw but comfortable. Showers are uniquely cool. They even have a mirror in the shower for shaving etc. This place is a hidden gem. Electric hook-ups only but water is available to fill your tank at the showers as you pass by. If you are looking for a quiet getaway Mountainside is the perfect place.

Spent two nights at this incredible location. The facilities are very well taken care of. The owners were very friendly and happy to help me find places to hike and visit while in the area. If you're unfamiliar with low light pollution, you'll be in for a wonderful surprise. This location provides a great star gazing opportunity that everyone should experience. I will of course be returning as soon as I can.

This place is amazing! Excellent tent sites shaded with great trees, tables and firepits. Super friendly hosts. The bathrooms and showers were great. The creek runs right past the sites, and we spent the afternoon hanging out in the water with some beers. Just what we needed after a long motorcycle ride. Propaganda Pie for pizza in Redstone is about 20 miles away over Mclure pass, great ride for dinner. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

Our family has been visiting this campground for years and are always so very sad to leave. The owners of this park are incredibly kind and accommodating. We love jumping right over to the lake, into Paonia for lunch or down to Marble to explore. We also love that ice and firewood are offered on site! Can t say enough good things about this place and we look forward to many more years of family time at Mountainside!

This RV park is under new management. This was our first time staying and it was lovely! My husband and I stayed in the cottage for 8 days, 7 nights with our small dog. The couple who own the park are very accommodating and friendly! Our group had a total of 19 people coming and going during our stay in different camping slots and everyone had a great time.

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The owners were super nice and accommodating. The camp ground is nicely maintained. The highway is a little close but you really don't notice it much. Very relaxing and peaceful place. They had ample places to park boats/trailers. They even had a community night with hot dogs and games.

We LOVED staying at Paradise! Owner was helpful and could tell was intent on making sure our stay was fantastic and it was! We loved being spread out, the sites weren t on top of each other and being disconnected from the world was great for a few days (no cell service here or near by!) spending time walking around the property/creek was relaxing and I haven t slept that well in our trailer for a few weeks, you re in a little slice of paradise. The port-a-pots were very clean and my husband described the showers as being very nice/super hot water with great pressure.

Paradise campground is AMAZING! By far one of the best camping trips! My kids liked the camping trip too! There is a volleyball net located in the middle of all the campsites, there is a creek next to the campsites and even a big fire pit for any camper to use. My kids stayed busy with all the amenities. A big thank you to the campground hosts who made sure we were enjoying our camping trip. We will definitely be back!

This campground was such an amazing get away up in the beautiful Colorado mountain. Camp sites are very clean, and spacious, ours included electric hook ups, a fire pit, picnic table and even a nice well kept hot tub. It was very peaceful throughout and we loved that the river ran right through the campground. The owners are very welcoming, and helpful. We will definitely be back again for another stay.

This place is awesome. It is quiet. The campsites are not right on top of each other an most have great shade and lots of trees. The creek was fun for the kids. You are just down the road from the Paonia State Park Reservoir boat ramp. The staff was very helpful and made great recommendations about things to do in the area.

The campsite was amazing! We stayed in cabin 16 and it was really nice, they had a wonderful bed in there with a couch and 2 beds up top you get to with a ladder. It was raining when we got there but inside you couldn't hear anything! We were the only people on the site for the 3ish days we were there and I'd like to see more people there next time we go. There may not be any connection but there's a TV with a DVD player, a heater, microwave, and a mini fridge! They have a cool path for a nice hike and a river for kayaking! You should definitely camp here!

Awesome place!!!! The owners Rick and Keith were wonderful. We arrived 2 days earlier than our reservation hoping they had a cancellation. They did not. But what they did have to offer was a primitive campsite for a RV on the stream/river. WOW, we had a generator and jumped at the offer. What a wonderful surprise, we asked to forego our reserved electric site to stay there by the water and away from everyone else, awesome. Water and a beautiful view. Yeah there is a road across the stream but traffic is light and after dark virtually no traffic. It's a mountain valley, so rivers and roads inevitably go together, don't whine about it or give a lesser rating. Awesome awesome awesome hope to return someday, thanks for the hospitality!!!

Me and my wife rented out the "cabin" it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! When I contacted them via Facebook it was late at night, I expected to hear back from them in the morning (which was no big deal) but they messaged me back within minutes answering the questions that I had. The price is amazing for what you get. The private hot tub and fire feature made for a fantastic and relaxing night of star gazing and relaxing! I would not hesitate to recommend Paradise Campground to friends and family.

Had a great relaxing time. So hard to put into few words about this place but Rick and Keith were awesome great people and have done a great job with the place it is truly Paradise we loved it and will be going back again next month and bringing more family and friend. The area all over is beautiful. So much to do like relaxing, walking, hiking, fishing, ATV riding, kayaking and so much more. What a truely piece of heaven in this paradise. My husband and I loved our time here. Thank you

This place is INCREDIBLE. The name rings true! My husband and I spent a weekend there and it was a treat. Definitely going back when things open up! The cabin is adorable but we spent most of our time outdoors. Huge deck with a grill and hot tub?! Can t beat that. Gorgeous view of the river and snow capped mountains, even hooks for hammocks! Head on down the steps and you are a moment away from hanging at the river. It s really special. Hiking trails everywhere, minutes from Paonia reservoir, with kayak rentals as well THANKS SO MUCH and see ya soon (btw the owners are amazing)

We recently stayed at the paradise campground and were very impressed with the property. Our kids played all day in the small creek out front while we sat in the shade. The owners are very polite and accomadating as well. Very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Only reason not a 5 star, was due to highway 133 so close, could hear the traffic. Our tent site was fantastic, trees half circling, owners very friendly and everytime they went by delivering ice, wood, they'd ask if we needed anything. Since we were new to the area, they were very knowledgeable about fishing areas and the local attractions. We will definitely be going back!

Beautiful, small campground right on the river! Two of the RV spots even come with private hot tubs. It is tucked back off the road with great tree coverage and the owners are super nice and helpful. They offer kayaks and other equipment to rent. Highly recommend this place!

This campground was so beautiful and the perfect place for our family reunion. It had something for everyone s preferred camping experience! Whether you are a travel trailer type, tent camper, or need the luxuries of home they ve got you covered! I rented the cabin for my daughter and her baby and it was perfect! Thank you for so many great memories!

We just stayed there for 4 days, it was an awesome spot. No one was around, very private. Met the owners and they are great ppl. This was the best RV spot we have been at this year (we have been to 4 this year). I really enjoyed listening to the river as I slept, having an actual campfire, and plenty of space. Very clean as well!

I normally would not write reviews, but this place was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere really brought our family together and the owners were extremely friendly. We will most definitely be coming back next time we are in Colorado!
