My tpms was always on. Got tires replaced and sensors(supposedly) at Walmart. Still on. Walmart said sensor issue in engine. Took to brakes plus, they could not fix. Took to hutcheson performance, it was not a bad sensor in right front, but NO sensor, that was supposedly put in by Walmart. Moral of story, IF YOU WANT THE JOB DONE RIGHT, TAKE TO HUTCHESON.

I recommend Hutcheson to anyone who is looking for good and honest service without breaking your pockets. They kept me updated on everything they were doing and not once did I feel like anyone was blowing smoke. My car is running better than before.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I have gone to Hutcheson Performance a few times. Once to fix a electrical gremlin in an old Jeep that several other shops didn't even want to touch. I also have had other work done there including bearings and transmission work. Hutcheson can be busy but they are are honest, very reasonably priced and friendly. I will continue to be a customer there and would recommend them to any of my friends.Service: Auto maintenance

I have used Hutcheson Performance for over a year now. They are fantastic, friendly and fair. I'm a single female and I have never felt like they were taking advantage of that or trying to sell me things I didn't need. Which I have had happen at other places. I stopped in with a question about my headlights not working and he pulled my truck right in to find out why, then scheduled me to come back and fix it. I have and would recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommend! Professional, prices are fantastic, courteous service, and quality work. I spoke with Ryan, and the owner Hutch. Ryan was extremely helpful and thankfully he was able to get me an appointment for the same day which I truly appreciated. It is not easy to find the balance between work, transporting children and getting the car repaired and they worked with me. Also, I was quite surprised that the owner got on the phone with me to help diagnose the problem with my car. Bill worked on my car and fixed my car quickly. It is really scary to have two children in the car when it's cold outside and not have your car start. I feel so relieved and happy they were able to help me fix my car quickly at a great price. *****

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! They arranged for me to drop off and pick up my car after hours due to my work schedule. Charged me 1/10th of what the dealership asked for the same repair! So grateful to have found an honest shop that could diagnose my problems and get me back on the road for less than I expected. Hutch and his crew have earned a customer for life.Service: Electrical repair

Honest pricing based on hours worked and will give an honest opinion for you to evaluate and make a decision. Have had estimates from other shops wanting to charge 2 or 3 times what Hutch may actually charge. Best mechanics, fast, and honest. Also they have never have taken advantage of my wife or my daughter, I never heard them taking advantage of any customers as I am waiting. I highly recommend them.

This is the ONLY place in town I trust to work on my truck. They are honest, good, and meticulous people who are not out to take as much money from you as possible for unnecessary repairs... They re simply there to fix your vehicle in the most thorough and correct way. I ve lived all over this country and finding a good mechanic is about as easy as finding a good haircut when you first move. I have never been disappointed in the quality of their work or their communication regarding repairs.

Great guys, they deserve 5 stars. Had repairs done on my 99 Suburban in early spring, had a defective part that left me stranded in August. I immediately called Hutcheson, and they had my truck picked up found the problem, repaired it and have me back on the road again at no additional cost to me. Now thats service that you can count on!

I have been using Hutch's service for about six years now and went there on a strong recommendation from a friend who owned a lot of older cars needing repairs. Hutch has always been more than fair with me and everyone I have sent his way. He's a great guy, knows stuff, and won't try to sell or fix something you don't need. As a single woman, I can't say that about a few other shops in town but am more than happy to refer Hutch to my family, friends, and associates.

Hutch and his crew are AWESOME! On complicated cars you sure don't want to get just a wrench-turner when what you really need is an automotive detective. Hutch tracked down the solution to a mysterious problem in my late-model Jeep and did so for a very reasonable price -- the engine purrs now -- I'll be back the next time I need work!

They sold and installed a bad battery. Next time I tried to crank it, my car wouldn't start, so I called immediately and took it back on their next available day. They suggested $2,500 worth of work, which I couldn't afford. After doing a lot of research on my own, all the symptoms sounded like a bad battery. I went to get it tested at O'Reillys, and it was indeed dying. It was after business hours and I have no one to help if my car died, so I replaced the battery at O'Reillys. That immediately solved all the issues my car was having.I took the bad battery back and requested a refund. After some less-than-pleasant discussion and two days of contemplation, they gave me a partial refund for the bad battery. They said it tested good when they tested it, but I never saw that with my own eyes. When I saw it tested, it was dying. It also didn't have the required stickers that indicate the age of the battery.Wasn't my car's fault. Starter and alternator tested good. The old battery before that one and the new battery after that one worked.A mechanic I'd not interacted with came to the front and abrasively informed me I couldn't have a full refund because I "hadn't even let them know about the issue." Definitely did. Called them immediately about my car not starting because that had never happened until the day after it went to their shop. They'd quoted me $2,500 worth of repairs when I'd taken it back in.To be fair, I know there were sensor codes showing up on their code reader. It came up on mine too, but only once. My research suggests such sensor codes can come up when you've got a bad battery because the low voltage sent to those sensors can cause the vehicle to flag them as potential problems. After changing the battery, all is running as well as it was before I took it to this shop. No sensor codes, no issues cranking, nothing. Works perfectly.I don't know if this was an honest mistake or a malicious attempt to get more money. They never claimed it as a mistake, if it was one. I was made to feel like it was my fault.Don't be afraid to do your own research if you bring your vehicle here. Doing so saved me a significant amount of money. Two stars instead of one because they did give me a partial refund (leaving me only $45 in the hole, not counting the uber rides I had to take after leaving my car there overnight twice) and because the throttle position sensor they replaced seems to be working well.

Been taking all cars to Hutch's for a few years now. Always have done a great job on repairs, very honest with what the troubles are and how severe they are, and the best is they always give me the best prices around. I drive three GM cars from the early to mid 2000's and they know my cars well.

We have been taking our vehicles to Hutcheson Performance & Repair for about 5 years now. They are honest and charge fair prices for their work. I would not trust anyone else with the care and upkeep of our vehicles.

I'd been a customer for 5 years. Always liked them,(especially John), trusted them, referred them, never complained about their work and never questioned prices. 3 months ago they told me my transmission was bad and advised me to replace my car. The owner even offered to go with me to a dealership he trusted. I went there on my own and had an unpleasant experience. Now 2 weeks had gone by and I decided to look into replacing my transmission. I called Hutchs to get a price. They said they would check around. About another 2 weeks went by & I hadn't heard so I called them. The girl said she thought I had been called & quoted a price. I asked to speak to the owner. I had some questions about warranty, how long & when. She said he was busy & she would have him call me back. Over the next 3 weeks I called 6 times, always got the girl. They were busy, she'd have them call me back. I told her my car was acting up. One time she told me my car could die anytime, another time that it was on it's death throes. Always they were busy she'd have them call me back. They never called back any of these times. The last time she told me it would be next Wed. before they could start on it. Never heard again. Finally I took it to a transmission repair. They charged me $700 less than Hutch's quoted. They got the transmission from the from the same dealer that Hutch's would have. The year before I had spent over $2000 in car repairs there. I finally determined that for some reason they no longer wanted my business. It was very stressful driving to work and worrying my car would break down. The decent thing would have been to refer me to someone else if they were too busy. The kind thing to have done would have been to return a phone call and tell me they no longer valued me as a customer instead of leaving me hanging. I gave 3 stars for past service. Now I have to find a new mechanic.

I just found the auto repair experts of my dreams. I have total confidence in these guys to absolutely know what they are doing. They have been totally honest with me and completed the repair on time and within the price as estimated. I will not take my car anywhere else for repair in the future.

These guys are amazingly awesome.Kind-of-a-long story, but when my transmission was failing in my Suburban, and I was facing certain death, turns out theTech had prior experience, and the result was an hour and a half service call.Problem fixed.Amazingly awesome.

If I could rate 10-star then I would. I came here for a pre-purchase inspection and I wish all of the mechanic shops I've seen were this great.- Comfort: The waiting room has ridiculously comfortable leather chairs and couches.- Education: The owner took me inside the actually car bay area where all the cars are worked on and educated me on what to look for with used cars. He even explained the one obscure thing he found (sunload sensor was faulty)- Price: Very competitive and you get the feeling that someone is doing you a favor and treating your car as if it were their own, rather than yanking every penny from your pocket

Fair reasonable assessments of vehicles. Not out to scam customers and are always willing to listen. I cannot say thank you enough to Hutch for his meticulous attention to detail and willingness to fix really hard problems.

The only reason I gave this review a 2 star and not a 1 star is because they did not charge me for diag. The owner is a prideful arrogant jerk, throwing profanities at me about a tire psi disagreement and saying, "if i want to kill myself then don't listen to him". What kind of an owner speaks to his customers that way? These folks came recommended from a 4x4 shop that doesn't deal with engine/electrical diag. So, I decided to call these guys up. They were willing to work my vehicle in on short notice since it kept dying while driving. I dropped it off the night before let them have it for a couple days to diagnose the issue. I also had several other items I requested they give me estimates on. 2 days later (friday) I had still not heard anything from them, so I called them and spoke with Hutch; he said they had some ideas and would get me some prices Monday morning. I was cool with that, however, Monday morning came around and I did not receive a call/email. So I called and spoke with them and they said they will have something in a little bit. A few hours later I received an estimate finally, but no estimate for why I brought the vehicle in. They had recommended I get a factory key cut and programmed to vehicle, which is understandable, but did not offer to "sublet" the vehicle to get that done so they could continue their diag. Late Monday I gave them the "go ahead" on 1 repair and requested an estimate on a couple more items. I didn't hear anything back until I called in Tuesday late afternoon. They finally sent over another estimate for some items at about 5pm and indicated that they had started on any repairs. The prices for a few items were astronomical, while others were reasonable. I am ex-mechanic and moved away from my home town, and have been in the hunt for a reputable, honest place to get repairs completed that I am unable to complete in my garage. I am quite familiar with how a shop runs, how parts are priced, how labor is priced, and how important communication is with customers, etc. These folks may do good work, but their extreme piss-poor communication and jerk of an owner has definitely deterred me from letting them work on any of my 3 vehicles.

We broke down on our way through town and found this place. Took my truck in Monday morning and head it out the same day. We were stranded and Hutch came to the rescue. He was honest and fixed the problem so now we can hit the road again. Thank you tons!

A mechanic who won't rip you off! No run around, no upselling, just honest, competent people with actual integrity. They've been able to diagnose things other shops couldn't, and have always given me a fair price.

If you own a street race car say Honda or Subi, do not take it here they absolutely do not like them what so ever. Iv took 2 of my cars there "prelude and my wrx" and he tells me to trash both of them they are cheap but if you are looking at this place for performance work on old cars then this is the place for you but I think they are old crusty and rude.
