I have a 2014 Tundra 1794 that needed a 90k checkup. I ve been a customer with Top Shop for a long time so there was no hesitation as to where to go. They are good at what they do and fair with their pricing. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and make the experience great.

I gave them a call on a whim because I had a fuel leak at the fuel rail and they got it fixed that day. Their shop is amazing and extremely well set up, I wouldn't hesitate bringing any of my cars to this shop for anything. They will for sure be my go to shop in the bay area from now on. Thanks again guys!

First time taking my 21 Subaru Outback in for a regular service at 54K. Was very impressed to receive an estimate shortly after I made the appointment over the phone. Nice to know ahead of time what to expect in terms of service and cost. Will continue to go to Top Shop for my car s maintenance needs. Friendly staff and excellent service.

Took my 1965 mustang here for an assessment. I had just bought it sight unseen and it had definite issues. Took it to a mom and pop shop I had used in the past. After having the car for about a week, they told me that the repairs needed were over their head. I found Top Shop after a bit of searching and noted that they do complete tear downs and builds. The serious stuff. They looked at my car and gave me an honest estimate they couldn t have been nicer or more professional. By looking into their bays and seeing what they were doing to other cars it was clear that they were capable and competent. I chose to sell my car because I didn t really have space for it in my garage and knew I prob wouldn t drive it much. So I took the amount of their estimate off of the price I had just paid for it and sold it to someone who was looking for somewhat of a project anyway. Fully disclosing its issues and even urging the buyer to speak to Top Shop and get the low down. Ask if my price seemed reasonable. Frank apparently spent a half hour on the phone with my buyer. That s above and beyond in my book.

I was fortunate to discover Top Shop auto repair with a Google search as my Lexus headlight was out. From the first call, through drop off to pickup the communication, service and care were impeccable. My car s headlights were restored. I am a very satisfied customer and trust you will be also.

We have used Top Shop for years on vehicles old and new. They are very knowledgeable and candid in their assessments and recommendations. We are so happy that they are able to keep us out of Car Dealer garages. Their new location is very convenient.

Frank and his team have done extensive work on my 94 Ford E-350 Sportsmobile conversion. Great shop for off roaders and overlanders, you might even get invited on a trip if you re lucky. I always see the sweetest classic cars in there too. Great customer service from the whole team. Highly recommend to anyone who wants the best.

Everyone at Top Shop Auto is super friendly and easy to talk to and ask questions if wanted. I trust them to give me an honest estimate and do good work. I've been using them for several years now, both here in Walnut Creek and the old location in Lafayette and have always had good service.

I had a great experience last year with Top Shop when they were in Lafayette. They moved to Walnut Creek, and I saw them there last week. The same friendly guy was at the front desk. I was able to get a next day appointment and they texted me a confirmation. There is a coffee and tea place, they pointed me to, Bondadoso, with indoor and out door seating on the corner of the block, where I hung out for an hour, while they did a full inspection and oil change. They have a friendly front-desk staff and great mechanics. They didn't try to upsell me they just did the job. My car is now running smooth.

Took the car in for a check engine diagnostic. They reviewed error codes and said nothing needed to be done. They could have made up something but, they didn't. Changed my wiper blades. No charge for the diagnostic. Just paid for the blades. Outstanding service. I'll be back.

I think they were very professional. They were quick and professional. All they did was look at a transmission, and told me everything looked good. Only thing I was disappointed in , they charged me over 300.00 dollars. I thought it was a little much

I am not a car person but I own several vehicles, so it is extra important for me to have a mechanic shop that i can trust, will explain to me what is going on 8th my vehicles, and is able to work with me with work schedules. Very profession and friendly!

I have a vintage car 1939 Buick and Frank the owner and his team have put a lot of effort to help me get this car to be a more reliable driver, Not an easy simple task. I really appreciate the effort and consideration that was taken over the past couple of years. Parts are often not easily available and required maintenance is not like modern cars where you can plug into a computer and figure out basically anything and order the replacement part. Although they can do that too because I've also brought my more modern Mitsubishi to them for service. Their new facility in Walnut Creek is first rate and I highly recommend that if you need some service or advice as to what you need to do to keep your car running, I trust this Frank and his team to do the job.

Trustworthy, friendly, and prices are reasonable. I would never consider going anywhere else. Even if you have to travel from surrounding cities they d be worth it.

This is where I take the "Overland Bound" rig. They are awesome. Before we go on a long journey, I always check in with Top Shop. They suggest practical repairs at a fair price without trying to put my rig back on the factory assembly line. I appreciate them very much.

I don't know anything about cars and also look like I don't know I've been here twice, didn't feel pressure to do work (after the diagnosis) and they didn't upsell. The approval process is quick and convenient, I was updated on delays, and the repair was done very quickly. My final charge was also less than the estimate which was honest of them!It's one of those things where I hope I don't need car repairs, but would be glad to be able to come back to the shop.

One of the best repair shops I ve been to in a long time. I ve taken my truck there many times and they ve always treated me as an individual and not just another customer they can make money off of. They have an excellent texting email approval process where you can get your estimate and you give them your approval to proceed. They also are in good communication with you about, what they are going to do. I ve even had a follow up text asking me if everything is OK with the vehicle. I just know from past experience going there that I will always get my moneys worth and they re looking out for my best interest.

Service was great. I left my car overnight and first thing next morning I had a diagnostic and a few hours later a quote and details on the work to be performed on my car. I have been going to Top Shop Auto for over 8 years now and I wouldn't trust my car with any other auto shop! Frank and his team are trustworthy, friendly, affordable and very skilled at repairing my car!!
