Absolutely delighted with our weekend getaway experience at Firelite Lodge! From start to finish, everything was seamless and convenient, thanks to the contactless check-in and payment process. We chose the cabin option for the extra space with our kids, and it exceeded our expectations in every way.The fully equipped kitchen was a godsend, allowing us to prepare meals and save on dining expenses. Having a washer and dryer meant we could pack lighter and enjoy outdoor adventures without worrying about laundry. And the thoughtful addition of board games kept the kids entertained and brought us all closer together in the evenings.The cleanliness and the comfort of the rooms provided a welcome retreat after our busy days exploring the great outdoors. We couldn t have asked for a better home base for our weekend retreat. Thank you for providing such a gem of a place for families to create long lasting memories!

Amazing location at a great value! Rooms super clean and updated. Spacious and loved having the kitchenette area. Communication via phone or text was prompt and helpful. Already planning my next stay!!Rooms: Super clean. No musty smell, even with all of the damp ski gear. Loved the fireplace heat. Beds and bedding were so comfortable. Slept like babies.Nearby activities: Loved being on the quieter north side of Tahoe. Skied at My Rose, Palisades, and Northstar. Convenientl to all. Snowshoed Chickadee Ridge trail.Walkability: Great location to walk to steakhouse, beach, and not too far from King s Beach shopsFood & drinks: Dined at the steakhouse next door. Go M-Th before 6pm for a great meal deal. Lanza s Italian was fantastic. We went to Burrito Window twice! So good!

Good location, comfy beds, and room was warmed up prior to our arrival which is a huge plus. The bathroom is fancy and is clean, also comes with a sofa. Overall a pretty luxurious stay for this price range.Excellent service as the maid even went out of her way to contact us about a shirt I left in the shower curtain and we went right back to pick it up.

Second time staying this lodge.Nice clean room, quiet, convenient location, and fire place to warm up the room is very comforting.This time gave 4 stars because we couldn t use bathtub. After all day of snowboarding it would be nice to soak in the tub.Also the sink was sort of clogged or very slow draining in coffee area.Rooms: Bed was comfortable.Wine glasses and opener are very thoughtful.Many outlets are plus.Mat? Tray? In the entrance for muddy/very dirty shoes is also nice because we had snowboard boots.Nearby activities: Close to many restaurants.Lake is just across the street.Noteworthy details: The housekeeping service was daily which I wasn t expecting but nice

Checking in and out was super easy and convenient. The room was very clean and matched how it was advertised. The location was awesome. We were just a short drive away from Diamond Peak and great restaurants like Lanza s. I ve already recommended this location to friends and will definitely come back and stay again.Rooms: Comfy and cleanNearby activities: Close to restaurants, lake, ski resort, and grocery stores.Safety: Location felt safeNoteworthy details: Corner gas fireplace. Clean room and bathroom. Nice wet bar with microwave and refrigerator. Great daily cleaning crew.

Favourite motel of our road trip! Fantastic location and I m so glad we upgraded to a lake view room - it felt so peaceful to sit outside and enjoy the evening.Room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Loved the fireplace and kitchenette area.Icing on the cake would have been an earlier check in time as it s quite late at 4pm. But that is very minor - we will definitely be back!

the hotel is super clean and well managed. The login and pass code process is super efficient, the fireplace was going when we arrived. coffee maker, fridge and some kitchen supplies were all ready for our stay. they parking area was clear of recent snow and we had a view of the lake. overall, a great place to stay in Kings Beach. near several good restaurants and easy trip to Northstar. price was MUCH better than most places in the area. Also, the hot tub was hot and welcoming

Fabulous value for money in Lake Tahoe. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, just as they look in the pictures. The contactless check-in/check-out arrangement is excellent and hassle-free. Communication with staff online is swift. Although the walls are slightly thin such that I could occasionally hear my neighbors, it's not a problem at all. I even have a partial lake view, too! The only suggestion I have for management is to consider adding a lace curtain to the window which currently has a sun-blocking curtain only such that I can have more privacy while enjoying the nice winter view outside. Thanks for a lovely stay!

It was very, very quiet, very very comfortable. It was right across from the lake less than a mile away from all the food you can eat, fuel station, right down the street, hiking skiing whatever you want was right there, fortunately, I was at work I live out of town and was most grateful to have chosen Firelite Lodge to stay my week and a half, it was very reasonable price wise, they worked with me on my early check-in, and my extended stay, when work became longer than expected. I had my room touched up every day, I will definitely stay at fire light again. I m actually returning on Monday. I will be calling your staff for a new appointment once they confirm tomorrow. Great location on north shore. I went to North Tahoe for a hiking trip during October off-season and this was a great value and perfect location. Rooms are reasonable size, everything is very clean and looks almost new. The room has a fireplace (gas) which looks very cozy compared to a regular motel A/C units. Not many places to eat at walking distance, but Kings Beach is reasonably close with many options. Recommend to anyone as a budget-friendly place.

I spent Thanksgiving weekend at Firelite Lodge and highly recommend for a weekend stay or longer! It was the first time staying at a virtual check in hotel and must say it was very easy and efficient to check in and out. Rooms were cozy and it was sweet to have a fireplace in the room. Very clean and have a microwave and fridge with a little counter space for your needs. This lodge is forever special now because I got proposed to during this visit to North Tahoe :)

We had a great time staying at this historic lodge this December. The location is very nice and the rooms are cozy, clean, and comfortable. The view of the lake is also great, and if we ever visit Lake Tahoe during summer, we will definitely stay at Firelite Lodge.Rooms: Clean and cozy room for a family with kids.Nearby activities: 15 mins drive to Diamond Peak ski resort. Pleanty of great restaurants closeby.Safety: Really safe neighborhood with parking right in front of the rooms. It was so safe that we did not feel the need to take our ski equipment to our room.

The firelite lodge is such a lovely place. As soon as you enter the room with the fireplace running, you feel cozy and home. The location is perfect and very close to the lake. Communication was perfect and it wasn't a problem to extend my stay spontaneously by one night. I had a wonderful time here, Thank you.Rooms: The fireplace is an absolute highlight!

This is a cute motel in a very good location with extremely helpful staff - we have stayed here during ski season many times. It's comfy and quiet, the rooms have fireplaces and sometimes a little sofa. There's a hot tub, and many of the rooms have a partial view of the lake. It's completely remote check-in, but we've never had a problem. The SERVICE on this last trip was fantastic - especially the help from Anj. She was GREAT. First, we changed our reservation at the last minute a few weeks ago due to my husband being injured. We were within the "no cancelation" window, but she kindly moved the res for us, at no charge. Then this past weekend when we were scheduled to stay, there was a massive blizzard and we couldn't make it over Donner Pass on Friday. We ended up staying in Auburn and assumed we'd just forfeit that night's lodging at Firelite. But Anj helped us once again and kindly moved the res from Fri-Sat to Sat-Sun, allowing everyone to get some rest and a bit more skiing. We were surprised and truly grateful. We will continue to stay here again and again during ski season! Plus they're right next to Old Range Steakhouse - awesome old spot! THANK YOU ANJ!(Please consider bringing back breakfast - the pandemic is over. Or arrange a discount to a cafe nearby. And please put a little table or coffee table in the rooms.)

Nicest stop on my trip! Sitting on the deck drinking a glass of wine watching the sun set over the lake, I was wondering if the road noise would be bad. Closing the sliding door made it very quiet, great night sleep. The fireplace kept it warm and added ambiance. They even provided wine glasses, which was great since I forgot mine. Well worth the price, I do plan to go back.the contactless entry and exit was flawless! Great experience, wish more places did it!

Beautiful location, the rooms are comfortable beautiful and warm. Fireplace is a really nice touch. The 2nd floor is the partial view (very minimal view). We upgraded to a full view but had some of the view blocked by the reception desk building. This was slightly disappointing but overall was not a deal breaker. We were in room 323. The first 2 photos are the view from the balcony.

Loved the Firelite Lodge! We came for a girls weekend. 4 of us in the room with plenty of space. Beautiful lake views right across the street! Was conveniently located to everything and surrounded by great restaurants! Hot tub was awesome! I have to soak for medical reasons and the Bathtub was one of the best I've experienced in a hotel. Staff was quick to respond when we needed things, but the contactless experience was great! We can't wait for the next trip!

We stayed here once about15 years ago in a room without a view. This time, we stayed in a King Room with a fireplace, small balcony, and view of Lake Tahoe that was impecably clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was firm and quit comfortable. There are a number of eating establishments within a mile of the motel, some within an easy walking distance. We enjoyed our anniversary stay and will be back again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Firelite Lodge and were thoroughly impressed with our experience. Whenever we needed assistance, we simply had to send a quick text, and the response time was very fast. Whether it was requesting extra towels or seeking information, the staff was always prompt, accommodating, and friendly.We stayed in the lodge's charming two-bedroom private cabin. The cleanliness of the cabin was impeccable, and we appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Each room was equipped with plug-in heaters and fans, ensuring that we could customize the temperature to our liking. Easy to find, great parking, cozy, and had a really comfortable nights sleep. Great location right across the road from Lake Tahoe and close to restaurants, store, etc. Excellent communication from Firelite Lodge with easy text check-in/out and code access. Would definitely stay again!Rooms: Very comfortable bed and linens. Loved the cozy fireplace and the view from our balcony on the top floor.

The Firelight is a great place to stay. We had a room with a beautiful view and a fireplace. It was spacious, clean and cozy and extremely comfortable. The decor was cute and retro. My husband and I had a wonderful stay.Rooms: The room was larger than most hotels and we had a little dining table and chairs as well as a desk for our computer. I also like having 2 sinks and a mini kitchen.Safety: This is a very safe place to stay and the parking is well lighted.Walkability: We could walk across the street to the park, the beach. And to restaurants.Food & drinks: It was so nice having a refrigerator for our drinks.
