I have been coming to Diko since 1996. He is my father's mechanic, my whole family uses his services. Diko is honest , personable and he's family for us all. He will always do what's right for you and tries to keep cost down. He has serviced My Jaguar, My land rover, My Lexus and my Saturn SUV for my Daughter. Nothing he cant work on! And if he feels it cant be done he will tell you take it to the dealer he wont just try for the money$$. He's GREAT!!!!!!!

If you want a mechanic who is highly skilled at fixing your car issues AND is super honest with pricing AND is an overall kind and happy human who genuinely likes his job and his customers, Diko is your guy!!I needed my brake fluid changed so I called on a Thursday, made an appointment to drop it off the next day and it was ready to be picked up in 2 hours.I love supporting business owners like Diko, people who seem to inherently understand that success and prosperity is often built on cultivating a trusting relationship with their customers. He wisely said I learned early on to make the customers smile. It builds trust. 5 stars. Will recommend to everyone :)

Diko is the real deal. Great mechanic that solved a steering column lock problem that had been plaguing my 2004 Range Rover for YEARS! I live in LA but my truck wouldn t start on me while in San Diego, so I looked up who might be able to help and I found Diko. He waited on a Saturday while my truck was towed to his shop. Diagnosed the problem because he had seen it before and had fixed a similar issue before. Even the Range Rover dealer couldn t fix the problem before. He found a great used part for a thousand less than new, and installed it for a reasonable price. He s the owner of the business and works on everything himself. So you know it s being done right. Diko is awesome! My brakes went out in my truck, luckily I was doing some work there. I left my truck with him and he had it fixed the next day at a reasonable price. He also checked the fuel line because the brake and fuel line are right next to each other. He went above and beyond by putting some rubber tubing on the brake line to make sure it has an extra layer of protection! Plus he is amazingly kind! Stand up guy. Definitely recommend him!

My Wife and I live in Rainer WA, We have a 1987 VW Vanagon that we had purchased , spent a lot of money bringing it up to snuff and took our Maiden Voyage to San Diego CA. Learned a lot about VWs on that trip LOL. Anyway we meet up with our son and no sooner had gotten there and the radiator blew two hoses ,on a Saturday. the Tow truck driver ( awesome) recommended Diko, he was only two miles away . We left it there and he hopped right on it first thing Monday AM and had us on the road by that afternoon. Very reasonable labor cost and super friendly and Nice guy , A real asset to the community. I would highly recommend him to anyone for any auto issue. He is honest and his work held up. We would give him 6 stars but they only go to 5. DIKO is more than professional, caring and understands his clients and the importanceof getting the cars ready right and as soon as possible... always honest on how long, how much and if it just can't be done.The most important is that he respects his trade and his reputation.... it shows.Cleary his days are full so call in advance for an appointment.Diko I can't thank you enough....and thank you for all the tips you share to keep my cars in good shape.

This is my 2nd time coming here and again had a great experience with Diko. He is such a thoughtful man very accommodating. He is the most helpful and kind mechanic I ever known. He always offers honest advice regarding my car needs. His assistant is genuinely nice and friendly. I highly recommend this professional Auro repair . I will definitely use again in the future. I have been a loyal customer since 2007 and there is no one better out there! Diko is an exceptional mechanic, but more importantly he is honest, has integrity and truly cares about his customers. He regularly services our Honda Oddessey and Hyundai Sonata and keeps them running flawlessly. After the fire we weren't sure if he would re-open but he did! His new location is behind the Sports Arena on Hicock St.

This is a great repair shop! Diko is honest, fair, and incredibly hard working. My car broke down and we brought it to Diko without an appointment because he was close and the previous Google review was good. He took us in right away, diagnosed the problem within a couple hours (for free) and promised he would have the car ready the next day. When we came to get the car, he told us he had worked on it until 1 AM to make sure it was done on time and to keep his word. There was no up-charge for this, we paid the price he quoted us at the beginning. I would recommend Diko Auto Repair to anyone and am grateful for the wonderful service!

My car broke down-completely shut off while driving-very scary, my car got towed here and at first I was told I would have to replace the alternator by the towing company-next morning I get a call from Diko saying it was just a wire, not the whole alternator, and he stayed later the night before to fix it (which I did not request) to get it done. Hands down the most honest mechanic I ve met besides my family and friends. Highly recommend. Thanks Diko!

Highly recommended for good service, honesty, and fair pricing. The first time I was here, I had axle trouble. The problem was assessed and fixed within the same day. Normal, standard, thorough and honest service.The second time was a little less fortunate. On a Sunday, I blew my transmission. I got it towed to Diko's, and already I could see the cars piled up in the lot and the street. On Monday I called and went in, and saw even more cars. Rarely have I ever seen a place so busy. By the end of the day, Diko called and had figured out that it was my transmission. It took a few days, but fortunately he was able to find and install a used, good transmission for a fraction of what a new one would cost. I knew it was busy and I definitely called and bugged them more times than they probably wanted, but DIko and the team kept patient with me.There are 2 major reasons I am writing this review:1) On Friday I came back to get my car, which Diko had personally gotten washed for me. I thought that was a super classy move, especially considering how busy they were that week.2) When it came time to pay, I didn't have what I thought I had. Undeterred, Diko told me to take the car home, and come back Monday to pay. He trusted me when I could have very easily have never come back, in which case he would be out $628. This man, I thought, must be an honest mechanic if I have ever seen one.5 stars.

He is a really good guy! Called on a Saturday and was able to bring it in and he stopped what he was doing and took the time to look at it on the spot. If I was from the area I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

Yes, indeedy...Diko is the very Best ! I have had 5 or 6 repairs and NEVERonce could i find any Fault , whatsoever, in this man or his workmanship...!I'll never go anywhere else , for the EXPERTise that he truly has !!!!And besides a decent and hardworking fellow, I love this guy !!!Dan
