I ve been coming to Cal State Auto for 12 years. I come from a family of mechanics and grew up working in my uncle's shop. He passed away some years ago. I was nervous to look for a mechanic I can trust. Luckily, I found Levon!He always explains in detail what s going on in my cars, takes preventative measures, and adds an extra touch of service every time! His quotes consistently came in lower than other mechanics, so I made him my one-stop shop. He does bodywork, and I get my tires from him. I don t trust anyone else with my car.Thank you, Levon, for being a genuinely good person and an awesome mechanic! I dread the day you retire but it will be much deserved.

If you are looking for a auto repair shop you can trust, look no further. Levon and his team are the best in town. They are dependable, trustworthy, amazing mechanics and they have the best prices. We took our car to three other mechanics in burbank multiple times over 6 months and couldn't get the steering problem fixed. They figured it out and fixed it the same day, no problems since. This is the only place I'm taking our cars in the future.

My car was serviced at this shop last week. Levon, the owner was great! Honest about the repairs my car needed. Gave me fare prices and car was ready as promised. I don't even know where to start...I have been going to about 8 different random mechanics in the past 2 years for all my cars, and they all we bad and bs, so I decided to do research on them, before I go, and calstate had a lot of good reviews and it was so close to me. This people here are amazing !!!!! They really care about you and are very honest, they worked on my diesel sprinter van til everything was perfect on it. These guys are amazing. VERY thorough, very trustworthy, and generous with prices. I will always only go to them if possible. It's scary to be so vulnerable and reliable in a mechanic's care but I really trust these guys.

Levan has always gone above and beyond with my Corolla. I have stopped going anywhere else for two years, because he is always honest, fast, and goes above and beyond to take care of you. I brought my 2009 Prius here about a month ago for an oil change and new brake pads. They were super nice and never tried to up sell me. They even said my brakes didn't need to be replaced, just cleaned. I brought my car in the busy morning and they were done in a few hours. I will definitely come back!

This place was AMAZING. I had taken my car to the Nissan dealer a week prior for an oil change to come to find out I have not one, but two nails in my tire (Slow Leaking). One which was in the side well. Me being the researcher I am decided to shop around for the best price, convenience, and service. When I called Levon at Calstate, rather than immediately trying to sell me a tire, he said he could patch it. He told me to stop in and that he would check it out. Even if I needed a new tire this was the cheapest place (~$85) when everywhere else quoted me at least $100.00.I arrived around 6:30 PM the next day, and the lot was FILLED with parked cars which seemed a little intimidating. There were about 6 men there, all whom were willing to help me. Since I didn't have an appointment I wasn't expecting much, other than someone to assess the damage. However after talking withe Levon, he told me to give him 30 minutes since they were in the middle of working on some other vehicles. (Remember, I didn't have an appointment). Within 30 minutes they had taken my wheel off, removed the TWO nails (neither of which were in the side well like Nissan had told me) and patched the holes! He then gave me a discount and only charged me $20.00. I was in shock how fast, easy, and cheap this place was. I will DEFINITELY be using this place for all of my car repairs in the future.

Levon and his staff came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. They are fast, affordable and more importantly, reliable. Highly suggest Cal State over anyone else for oil changes and maintenance of your vehicles. When we were selling an older car, they even offered to help us find it a happy home. 5 Stars for sure!!

As of this posting, I've been to Calstate for a variety of issues about 5 or 6 times now. A couple of those times, they did a quick check and fix on the spot and just sent me on my way. Wow! Who does that? Another time I needed an emergency repair because my window was stuck open and I was going out of town that same day. Typically they would have scheduled me later because they're a very busy shop but understood the situation and squeezed me in. Another gold star. I have a mechanic in North Hollywood I've been going to for years but since moving to Burbank, this shop is now my first choice. Great service - I have only good things to say about them and that's saying a lot because finding a solid reliable shop is not easy.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

I ve never written a review for anybody. Levon helped out a friend of mine years ago who didn t have money to pay for her car, I ve visited 3 times ever since and trust them 100%. It s not about a few extra dollars for Levon, he cares about his customers. Good people.

BEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP IN LOS ANGELES! Levon is always very helpful and friendly. He always shows me the old parts he replaced on my vehicle. It helps to understand the work that was done on the car and shows how bad the part was that needed to be replaced. I've never had any other shop do that for me. He doesn't try to push sales on you but does inform if something needs to be fixed. Do yourself a favor and take you vehicle to Levon instead of a stupid dealership.

Levon is a very honest mechanic who cares about how customers and takes the time to show old car parts and explain his work. I have trusted him with my cars for years and haven t turned back since. I have been going to Calstate for all my automotive needs, along with a couple of my family members. Never a complaint. My son was in an auto accident and I told him that Calstate does body work. He took it there and was thrilled with the result. The car looks new again. The owner is very meticulous with his auto & body work, which is the kind of person you want.

They did a good job on my car. Fit me in as a walk in and even though I had to leave my car for an oil change, it was done within the promised time and the price was better than the nearby "instant oil change" place. They also advised me on future services and did not try to sell me anything unnecessary.

Fair fair fair! Honest service. Had 97 bmw 318 service many times with not even close to a complaint. Excellent mechanics always using top end replacement parts. Do not worry. You ll be satisfied.

The only reason why we give Levon & "Cal State Auto" 5-stars, is because we aren't allowed to give him 10 on here! This place is the best auto shop around, and Levon and his team are excellent, trustworthy, and fast! We will never ever go back to the dealership for our cars! ~ Sharon & Noshir

I got a used car inspection for a car that I was considering buying. They pointed out all the things I would want to know about and gave an assessment of their severity. And they did this quickly and even signed a piece of paper with all of the findings on it. The only thing they could have done better is proactively given me a write-up of all of their findings instead of me having to ask for it. Otherwise, 5 star service.

Do yourself a favor and go here first, especially if you have to pay out of pocket. These guys will give you the fairest price you can find, and to be honest, that's not always easy when you're a gal who needs car repair. I had a friend move my car and they annihilated the front end. I had a shop across town quote me over double for repairs I knew I didn't even need. I'll be going to Calstate for any repair needs!

I was sent here on a recommendation and I'm so glad I was. Everyone was extremely helpful and transparent about exactly what was wrong with my Fiat and even completed a small repair for free! I very much recommend this place and will be returning if I need future repairs!

Best Mechanic in Town!! Hands down one of the nicest and most honest mechanics you will ever work with. Perfect for the Valley and only 10-15 min from Hollywood, Glendale and Los Feliz worth the drive if you dont have a guy..
