I brought my family here for a vacation before the winter hits. We rented two 6 person cabins and they were super cute and cozy and had everything we needed (utensils, cutlery, kitchen appliances, towels, and extra bedding, and a full fridge)The weather was amazing and had a great time in the outdoors . I would do it again.

So many things wrong with this place in the last two days we actually left a day early!! Let's just start with day 1 and our tent site. We had three nights booked here with no other tents showing up in the spaces near us yet they booked us right next to the dog park so we got to see and smell dog poop the whole time. Then unpacking the car was difficult due to the herd of feral cats trying to get into our vehicle and our stuff. Literally digging around and pooping IN our campsite. We chased them away to only have them return that night and get into our stuff, so we again chased them away.Day 2 consisted of us attempting to be gone all day due to the nasty campsite we were in. We returned the second night to make dinner and try to get some sleep to then have to deal with 5-6 racoons in our campsite. We didn't mind them because they were there first and we are invading their space, just very disruptive and hard to sleep.Next morning we were woke up at about 5:00 am by more rustling around our tent to find a small tan Chihuahua with a blue collar on, again, urinating on our items. We were generally concerned for the animals safety so I went to the main office to let her know the pet was out and our complaint of him urinating on our tent and ice chest and her reply was that he lives in the neighborhood nearby and they let him run lose?! WHAT? So no care that he is out urinating on people's things, he roamed the whole park near our campsite all morning while we packed to leave. We did speak with Kathy the general manager who said she has never seen or heard of the feral cats?!?! And the dog is out of her control because she has spoke to the owner once before?!?! What a rip off!! Don't waste your money staying here unless you want to spend more money cleaning your peed on items!!!Bathroom facilities were decently clean, shower had so much hair stuck to the drains it was disgusting! And the women's shower wall had blood on it which it also disgusting!!!!CAMPERS BEWARE!!!!

My wife and I stayed at a tent site here with our 9month old son for the very first time. Upon arrival we recognized the sites are very close together and somewhat small. Our site was roughly three spots away from a group tent site which had a large group of roughly 20-30 people staying. When we arrived around 1pm they had music playing on a large speaker. We said nothing at the moment but hoped it would not last. We left the campground and came back around 8pm with the music still blaring.Night 1:At quiet hours (10pm) the group decided to inflate a large projector screen to have all the kids watch a movie with the same loud speaker. At this point we were getting frustrated. Also, the security of the campground had passed this group multiple times without saying anything. At 10:30 my wife stopped security and asked if he could quiet down the group. He said he would try. It had little affect. I called in to complain about the noise a few minutes later. Again they sent the security guard and as I spoke with him he said, I don t know what you want me to do, I have been up since 5am and I m tired, I didn t even want this job I inherited it. Some people think quiet hour starts at 11. And I have already told them to be quiet. Night 2:The large group had a TV with the Pay-Per-View Fight on (again blaring it for the whole campground to hear) along with the projector screen and a movie playing simultaneously. Thankfully it was shut off shortly after quiet hours. Instead they decided to listen to music, talk loudly, scream, and laugh all the way to 2:45am in the morning.I never saw the security vehicle that night (I think he avoided that side of the campground as it was clear he did not like confrontation from the conversation the night before).Other things to note:-Bathrooms could be very nice if cleaned.-Seems like most members dislike the new owners (as was mentioned in person and through other reviews)-Don t expect any enforcement on rules being broken-Campsites and Trailer sites are small and stacked on each other.-We will never be staying at this campground againOther than that enjoy!I m adding a star to make it a 2 star review as Kim (the manager) reached out to me after taking the email survey after our visit. She was willing to refund one of our nights.

This place will never be what it was. This was our family annual camp site, where the highlight of our trip was the great customer service and the cleanliness of the place, especially the restrooms. This is not the case anymore. The company was recently bought by a corporation that has zero experience in camping/RV park, customer service, and their only concern is to make a profit. The restrooms are now disgusting. I ve never seen anyone come in to clean them in 2 days. Previously, they would constantly come in to clean them. Also, in previous years, when we would do a reservation, we would get assigned spots, and now the reserved spots are no longer respected. They give away spots and now our family was spread out all over the camp site and when we asked the office, they said they didn t know what happened. Everyone seems oblivious and don t give you a straight answer. It saddens me to say our family will no longer be staying here for our annual camp trip. This place is a disgrace now.

Great place for camping had Internet and service so your not completely cut off from civilization but it was nice so the camp spots where really close together like you can hear and see what every other camper is doing because they are all really close together. They have bathrooms showers and electricity that was good. There service was flawless answered all my questions and where helpful and understanding when we had a problem with something would come again 5/5!

We stayed for two weeks in December. We really enjoyed our stay and had no issues while we were there. The park was only like 25% full, which is why we enjoyed our stay. If it had been full, we would have been quite disappointed because of how close the RV spots that are available to non members were. You are within walking distance to Bass Lake village and the lake itself. Although we did not stay during summer or fall, from reading other reviews this place is packed during those seasons. We would stay here again, but only in the off-season.

Disappointing Stay Saved Only by Decent Restrooms:Our campsite was more of a dusty dirt patch than a pleasant camping spot, with an adjacent construction pile making the air quality significantly worse. The electricity we were promised was out, and the technician they sent to fix it was unhelpful and rude, declaring that it wouldn't be fixed, period! This was incredibly disruptive as our EV needed charging for AC and camp mode. No offer of a refund or even an apology was extended, making for a highly disappointing experience. The only saving grace warranting the second star was the acceptable quality of the bathrooms and showers. Still, overall, this campground failed to meet even the most basic standards, and I can't recommend it.

My parent shave been members here for many years and have been very happy until the new owners jacked up the prices to make it unaffordable for them. I feel as though they have taken advantage of members that have invested in them for many years and now my parents are abandoning their membership. That may be the goal of the new owners. Vary shady. I'll never go here again. It's not on the lake. You can't even see the lake from this park.

There's truly not a better place in the area for families especially. During busy summer and holiday weekends there's always amazing activities for kids. Aside from the planned activities there's also a pool, board games, the kids playground, pool tables, shuffleboard, ping pong and foosball. We love staying in their cozy updated cabins, and eating at the little cafe that often serves food on weekends. Everyone that works there is fantastic, especially Leslie! We love everything about this place!

This was one of our favorite places to go, especially during the winter. However with the recent purchase from OutDoorsy, a company who has never run an RV park, just rentals, it is clear this park is heading down a path of failure.I will be shocked to see if the park is even open in a few years from now which is sad. Outdoorsy has no idea what they re doing running an RV Park, and even admit to that in a letter introducing them Zelda to members. Now with near 1000 unhappy members, many of whom are leaving memberships behind, it will be surprising to see if they can stay open. They lied to their members promised a town hall meeting, with limited change. No meeting occurred and prices for members (and general public has tripled. Spaces are small, and close together, which was ok for the great prices they had. New rates are not worth the space. Also taking Bass Lake out of the name but leaving Yosemite is silly. Bass lake is walkable from the park, Yosemite is an hour and a half drive to the valley. Selfish cooperate greed has taken over a once family friendly and history RV park.

We rented the smallest cabin they had to be able to stay I'm the park since our friends were camping with their RV. It said newly renovated and I recognize the attempt... the floors were good but the shower fixtures were old and coming out of the wall. None of the outlets worked in the bedroom. You had to stand sideways to use the shower and also practically sit sideways to use the toilet in the tiny bathroom. The pocket door to the bedroom came off the tracks when we tried to use it in the middle of the night and it was a process to get it back on. The moulding was falling off, the shower head hung loose off the wall, the cabinets were old with dwarers and doors all misaligned. The place wasn't well insulated so we heard EVERYTHING and they didn't seem to enforce any quiet hours or address it when people left their dog unattended at their camp site. We also had two mega RVs within 5' of us on either side so no point to all the windows. We were also cold when it got down to 26 at night even with the heat on. We left a day early because it was miserable. The dog run was nice and maintained but there were SO many RVs and people packed around the grounds. I thought it was very overpriced.

The cabin we rented was disgusting! Deep cleaning hadn't taken place in a very long time. The price we paid to stay there was NOT worth it.The bedding was clean, thank god! The towels contained so much lint that you felt gritty while applying lotion to your skin. The baseboards were filthy, and the side of the stove was disgusting!!!! The scissors in the drawer had food caked on them from lord knows how long ago. The floor vents were caked with dirt, grime, and dust. I was very uncomfortable during my stay at this very OVERPRICED cabin!!!!Now I understand this may sound like I am nagging over minor things; however, everything should have been clean and comfortable for the price we paid. Luckily we didn't spend much time in the cabin. I did not check out the park's common areas because, to be honest, I expected the same for the common areas as dirty as the cabin was.I would not recommend staying in a cabin at this resort.

We stayed at 2 RV lots,59 and 60. They could not have been tighter. Our shade canopy was inches from our buddies trailer and we both were tight to one side to leave room for the next guy.left to right slope was 4.5" on lot 60 and 5.5" on 59.We both lost full water pressure several times over the 7 day stay. Not fun when showering.Bathrooms were well maintained and warm. Very clean if you needed to use showers or the facilities.Do NOT expect to have a campfire. We were told they only build them on sat/sun. We dug deeper and found out your have to request a campfire at the lodge area.We asked and then had to track someone at 715pm to get one started. Took 30m to get someone there. Unsure why campfires at sites are prohibited when national forrest sites had fires going.Probably would rather camp a little further away from the gates and have a campfire than stay again. This alone was the biggest turn off of the park.

It was overall very nice. We stayed in the cabins but the RV spots looked very nice. The cabins were such a perfect size and nice inside. There was no cable do to it being unavailable at the moment. There is a pool and is PET FRIENDLY. Not only was that nice but you could walk to stores and the Marina. There is also a nice trail that leads down to a cove. Just be sure to wear bug spray after sunset on the trail. It was great for the price and we really enjoyed our stay

We camped there for 4 days and I like the place. It does have it problems the cable didn't work but you're there for the outdoors. Some of the spaces were really small and tight to maneuver into. A few of the drain systems were to highly located to drain properly. The best sights are reserved for members only. It is located in a great spot about 200 yards off the lake and other amenities are awesome for board kids. It is well kept and clean. The management is really friendly and helpful. For a place we just happen to find we will definitely be returning.

Nice little cabin in the RV park. Spacious and well equipped with dishes, cleaning supplies, toilet paper and paper towels. Self check in and out was easy. The check in office also has extra things you can buy (munchies, drinks and ice). I will stay here again.

This is a great campground if you ant to go to Yosemite, just steps away. But be careful what site you book. The one I booked on line 112, was on a tiered location ,barely big enough for our trailer , only 25 ft with no slides. Trying to back in was a nightmare due to slope. When I called the office, her question was do I have Four wheel drive . Answer was no, so she did move us to Downtown area which is for members only. That was way better but many of the spots are on tiers, gravel and not a lot of shade. Then we asked about Good Sam discount and they said they do offer it, but you have to call back after you make your reservation and they have no way of giving it to you after the fact. Not happy , will call Good Sam for resolution. We even paid the extra $20 to hold our original space, which was totally inadequate and it was never offered as a refund. Place is clean, facilities and maintenance staff good, but office service not.

Clean park. Some of the cleanest restrooms and showers we ve ever seen. Only giving three stars because office staff it s not very helpful. Do you know how when you pull into an RV park and they either guide you to your site or show you on the map where your site is? They didn t do that. And for $100 per night you would expect some guidance They also tried to put us in site 140 which was barely wide enough for our small 27 foot travel trailer, but it s also impossible to get into without bottoming out. They must know that, Because one of the residents approached us to tell us they ve seen it happen several times. We had to request another site. Which they did give us. The only reason I m giving three stars instead of two. Not super impressed with the price that we paid to stay here for two nights.

Great location, but management could care less about guests. Perfect example of employees using pandemic to reduce and excuse needlessly eliminating services that have zero to do with pandemic. Check in and front desk gal was like here's your map, here's your spot. The end. No brief on the property, no highlights on what is closed or inoperable. Don't even like to move on. If you are self sufficient and not wanting at all any sense of service the location is nice, although back-ins are a bit narrow. Nice facilities relatively speaking but just not the greatest service. Also multiple issues noted with guests getting inaccurate info on spaces booked etc. And they don't appear to want to accept packages, because, you know, COVID? Prior ownership likely ran a much better operation than the current crew. Not impressed.

Recently stayed here for a week in July 2022. Have stayed here three times before. Principally a members resort with full hookup RV sites (50 amp), some sites only water & elec, a few tent sites, cozy cabins. However, note that remaining available spots open up to non-members to book at 90 days before.--Site 70 was under trees on a hill with tiered spots. Fortunately they offered a spotter to help us back in our 33' fifth wheel into the gravel site. The site has great shade. Site so narrow though with so much slippery gravel, that I would not want young kids at this site as (1) they could slip down the hill just walking beside the RV and (2) there is no play area near RV due to being on a hill. very close to showers/bathrooms (3 showers, 3 toilets) and a bridge to take you down to pool, main clubhouse, kids' clubhouse, laundry room (bring lots of quarters), propane, a few items to buy at office (no snacks).--Wifi has been upgraded (for purchase). Had an awesomely strong signal compared to previous years. First day, you get a code for free wifi (on a tiny piece of paper, don't lose it!) for just 24 hours, one device. When it expired, we purchased 30 days for 5 devices for $25, which is well worth it for the strong signal. The only other option I believe was $3 for one day.--This year, the $20 site guarantee was honored and we actually got the site we booked!--We are Good Sam members, but as we paid for site in full online at booking (required), when checking in was told it was too late to receive a 10% discount for Good Sam.--Note the cancellation policy is a FULL three days before check in. For instance, say you were checking in on a Thursday, you must cancel (and not by voicemail) by the Sunday before your first day. Of course, for clarity they should just say four days before to cancel as most places don't count days that way.--Our cell signal (Verizon) was fine at resort but was mostly non-existent when driving around lake and while dining at Ducey's at The Pines Resort--Fri, Sat, Sun hot meals were available for purchase from food truck vendor crew in small cafe area at certain times of the day.--Loud bell rung at 8am indicating breakfast (8-10am) by food truck vendor available to all for purchase (weekends). We were up the hill so far enough away, but wondered how those located close to the bell felt about that early wake up call.--Nice large clubhouse with vending machine and gigantic TV and couches. Books, VHS and DVDs available to borrow. Horseshoe pit, dog park, basketball, pool, shuffleboard.--Pool apparently not patrolled as we saw a woman in the pool drinking a beer in a glass bottle (potentially dangerous if it breaks!). Some pool chairs and plastic lounge chairs on grass outside pool fenced-in area.--Both kids' clubs renovated recently (pool tables, foosball)--Shaved ice truck, at least on our weekendNearby: Sunday 9:30am Catholic mass at St. Dominic Mission on Road 222 in the summer. Ducey's Bar & Grill, pizza/bakery/ice cream parlor, gift shops, market, post office, very small 2-pump Shell gas station (no diesel). Rentals for patio boats, kayak, waverunners. Uneven asphalt roads to ride bikes around the area and to The Pines Resort but hilly at times.

This park was overly rustic. Paved roads, but all of the rv parking was crushed rock, narrow, hilly and uneven. All of this made worse by fires nearby taking out the power on a 108F day. I had to do a 4 point turn to get out of the pull through. Backing up was an option, but I had to go out that way and still needed to turn around. I've marked this off of a place to go back.
